Thanks for the video! I’m looking to get this but arm, and my ideal configuration is quite similar to yours. Is it possible to have both the laptop screen and the monitor line up so they’re on the same plane, without having the arms hit into the wall behind the desk?

Sorry a bit late i guess 😂 but i really, really love your setup! Did you upgrade anything?

Hah, as much as I did like this setup for a small space, I ended up needing a little more screen space and computing power. I still use the MacBook, but built a desktop and am running a 32" and 27" monitor. Interestingly, the clamp / pole and VESA have been repurposed to hold the 27" monitor. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for making this video! Are you ever concerned about the laptop falling off of the shelf, like if you bump it, or if a cable gets caught on something? Also, can you tell me the diameter of the mounting pole? I am considering adding the laptop mounting arm to another mounting solution. Thanks!!!

In my experience, the laptop is pretty stable, plus I try really hard to keep it protected, so I haven't had it make any unplanned exits! The diameter of the pole is 1.5", leave a comment if you end up putting the mounts together, I have since gotten another monitor and would love to have both screens as well as the laptop mounted!

Thanks for the comment! It can clamp up to 2 inches thick.

Any bounce as you type on the laptop?

Honestly 99.5% of the time I use an external keyboard, so I can't give the best answer. I just put my laptop on the stand and tried it out though, and would say there is very hardly any; not enough to shake the screen. Thanks for watching!
