Paulo, were you able to insert glass into your custom triangle shaped curtain wall? At the end of the video it looks like glass wasn't added back into those shapes and I was wondering if you knew how to get them in?
In this example I didn't use a glass for the curtain panel. But it is possible to add glass building it creating a form directly from the reference lines of the pattern or you can build an adaptive component with glass material and later add it to the panel, hope this helps.
@@oginokoichiro I have a question. How to add glass in your custom triangle shaped curtain wall? Because I need to show different glass panel. some glass panel is red, some glass panel is black. thanks.
Hello hope this meets you well. Kept getting this message: Unable to create form element: self-intersecting or singular geometry would result. Or just unable to create element. Do you know how to go about this by any chance?
sometimes this happens when you create a complex form geometry that makes a curtain panel unusable. This message appears before using a curtain panel component or after?
@@oginokoichiro hello sir, sorry for my late reply and thanks for answering. It actually appears before curtain panelling, just when I draw the reference lines. For example, I’m currently modelling a soccer stadium facade and I realised that when the lines are not perfectly drawn, as in, a perfect circle intersecting with a line at the edge, the reference planes clash and cause the model to get confused.
@@oginokoichiro hmm, I guess I could try that. Although I find out that when the outline is complex, for some reason it may not work. Also when the reference lines are not drawn to perfectly connect, you may have a problem. Best advice is to keep the outlines simple. Oh and to always remember to draw on workplanes when necessary. That could also be a factor from what I’ve seen
Hi! Very good that video! A question: All those curtain wall family, how do u get them? Do u maked it, editing the family or do u downloaded on the internet?
no need for downloading these are created in conceptual massing or pattern based as families then you load them in to your project building or whatever
wowww!!! great video ...!! ahmm !! i have a doubt .. i created a curved wall using massing tool and i need my own customized curtain wall for the wall , so i created a curtain wall and tried to replace it with the default curtain wall which revit has but it is not being replaced , instead it is loading as a new family :( someone please gimme solution :(
One of the best tutorial i have ever seen , i subscribed hoping to get more from you,.

@@muktarajibola4634 maybe you can try to model a loft style component, made of many curved sections, did you try that?

And you left it with no glass, no way to change the mullions and no way to put a door. Is there no better way to do this?
