A small correction my favorite Formula fowl: Red Bull didn't bring the wrong wing, that statement was misinterpreted. The team meant they didn't want to waste the budget to design a low-downforce rear-wing for circuits like Monza and Vegas to be used only 2-3x for the entire season, so the brought the "wrong" one and adjusted it by machine cutting it to gain any advantage possible right now to seal the deal on the WDC.
They brought their lowest downforce wing, which is their monza one, then cut it up All good, i think the only time this was said was during the preshow
I have never caught a Vegas grand Prix because of scheduling issues but I must say that this race puts it high up in my favourites, no high stakes or drama just consistent entertaining racing
I was worried about Yuki Tsunoda’s F1 career post 2025. Despite his great performances Red Bull continue to overlook him and we still have no idea if he’s gonna get that seat or not. However with Cadillac joining the grid for 2026 that gives Yuki an out. Either way I hope that by 2026 Tsunoda is at a team that takes him seriously.
Franco never said or implied that Zhou is trash... he said that it doesn't matter who his teammate is; he will try to beat him in the context of a possible seat on RB or Sauber and using a top and bottom team as an example.
I feel so bad for Alex at this point. The dude hasn't finished a race since Baku, mostly due to car issues which weren't his fault, so this is his worst season ever. Homeboy was in the points this weekend and was doing pretty well. At one point he was close to P7, which is impressive considering he started 17th and was running on an old spec because of the crash in Brazil. But then his fucking engine overheats. Just give him a break, I wanna see him cook. When he doesn't crash or has the car give up on him, he does pretty well.
I remember people make fun of Nascar for using a circular saw and a sledge hammer on their car, "Well well well, how the turn, tables..." 😂 On serious note, Red Bull really spent all their budget early in the season and Perez crash, and you can tell they really have to rely on Max to do everything on the budget give.. I won't be surprise if they went over the budget cap this year..
I feel like this could've been the mother of all bangers if Verstappen needed to defend against Hamilton and the Ferraris instead of just letting them through at the end. The best and worst case scenarios are both potential bangers.
I'm sorry but Yuki 1000% deserves that seat more than Liam. But like the f1tv reporters said "red bull knows something we don't" and that's why they'll never promote him :(
Imo, a Verstappen Vs Russell is the next big title battle to see. We’ve seen Max Vs Lewis (2021), Max Vs Charles (2022) and Max Vs Lando (2024). I think Max Vs George could be the most spectacular/ruthless championship battle since Max Vs Lewis. George doesn’t seem intimidated by anyone and doesn’t seem bothered by pushing Max to his limit. And imo, that battle over a season would be incredibly unpredictable in how it went.
@ I truly believe he would prove himself against Max. Because I think George can be as every bit as ruthless as Max is. But I think George would have a qualifying advantage against Max which might give him the advantage in the races by starting ahead of Max.
As I said in your community post, I expected McLaren to have a difficult weekend in Las Vegas, but I did get a bit of surprise hope from how they performed in Practice, but qualifying and the race went more to how I expected, and that was just based on how things went for them last year. The McLaren doesn't like the cold and it doesn't like really low downforce circuits much. Las Vegas was both, so it was likely going to be on the back foot anyway. I think they got the maximum they could in terms of results given how quick Verstappen, Ferrari and Mercedes were, and thank you Mercedes for limiting the damage Ferrari did in terms of closing the gap to us in the WCC! In summary, I did think we'd lose some of our points advantage, however Losail this weekend should be very strong for us and Ferrari have been saying that they're expecting to be pretty weak there, so hopefully we can gain on them again. The wildcards as always will be Red Bull and Mercedes, both of whom were strong in Qatar last season as well. I don't think the WCC will be won in Losail, I think it'll be settled at Yas Marina, but whatever happens in Losail will probably be pivotal in establishing how tense the finale will be! The fastest car argument's an interesting one actually, because you can take the qualifying averages at several points and get different results. I came across an article which quoted the following numbers: If you take the qualifying average across the entire season up to this point, Red Bull are still fastest, by just 0.078 seconds from McLaren. This is largely because of the advantage Red Bull enjoyed in the early races of the season. If you only take Miami onwards, which was when McLaren introduced the transformative upgrade to their car, the Papaya team come out on top, by just 0.038 seconds from Red Bull. And if you only take the second half of the season, McLaren's average is 0.124 faster than Red Bull. Point is, the margins are very fine and the Red Bull is still fundamentally a really quick car, in Verstappen's hands at least. Race pace though, has been another story at times this year. And I reckon Ferrari aren't far behind in terms of the overall averages either. Verstappen had a big lead to defend from Norris and he did a really good job in defending it. I think there were only three weekends in his win drought: Austria, Hungary and Mexico, in which he didn't get the maximum results he could've done, and those were only really down to his own errors. Well done on his 4th title, it might've been the hardest one he's had to get.
Max Vs George seems like the next logical rivalry. Max has had a season long title battle with Lewis. He’s had somewhat of a title battle with Charles in 2022. And a much more prolonged championship battle with Lando in 2024. Max Vs George over a full season is incredibly unpredictable.
11:04 Franco didn't trash talk anyone. The interview was in spanish and recorded some time ago for an Argentinian beer brand. It was from the time the rumours of his 2025 chances being either in a Sauber seat or RB seat. The comment was in that context, not this weird "top to bottom of the grid" twisted interpretation.
this is just me but i think red bull should give willams some money, for the reason everytime their driver bins the car, max wins it *cough cough abu dabi 2021 and wayyy more cough*
Chuck needs to calm down, nobody cares who gets P2, it's barely a difference. Plus, it wasn't like Carlos sabotaged his race, it was a clean pass. Side note, Carlos is getting way more villainized than Piastri ever was. I thought Lando Norris fangirls were bad, but clearly Leclerc has more of them.
5:58 Did you just casually dismiss Lewis as possible title contender for next year? O_O Never underestimate Lewis feathered one, never underestimate Lewis.
RIP Sonny Hayes, I’m ashamed you didn’t have a minute silence (might have to unsubscribe). Also how hard was it to understand what was going on during the race

what a time to be alive 😎
Tsunoda is really popping off, showin his seniority to Lawson
I have never caught a Vegas grand Prix because of scheduling issues but I must say that this race puts it high up in my favourites, no high stakes or drama just consistent entertaining racing
Agreed
It's so sad, it makes you just want to hug James Vowles and tell him it'll be alright

I didn't know it was possible for max to drive so calmly and allow people by
Seeing Hamilton do what he does best was a breath of fresh air after what felt like forever
Ferrari really fucked me up in Vegas let me be honest
i was watching Ferrari screw both their drivers
but the rest of the race was fire
I was in person so I didn’t even know what was happening 😭

So happy my boy George cooked in Vegas excellent Jon to lewis to for that charge through the field
Lewis and George are amazing. Shame merc isn’t half the time

I watched the Valencia Grand Prix as a kid. Fell in love.
Which year was it
Doesn't matter how much pain you have. You will never get the "being a williams mechanic" pain
As a strong TeamLH member screw you😂😂
Some of us appreciate what Max has done this season
Lmao
THERE IT IS GUY’s IVE BEEN WAITING
I feel like this could've been the mother of all bangers if Verstappen needed to defend against Hamilton and the Ferraris instead of just letting them through at the end. The best and worst case scenarios are both potential bangers.
True true
I'm sorry but Yuki 1000% deserves that seat more than Liam. But like the f1tv reporters said "red bull knows something we don't" and that's why they'll never promote him :(
mercedes is either the fastest car on the grid or they are competitive for a single corner
Accurate analogy

Max is truly a legend now
Max reigns champion once again! He probably has severe back pain.... from carrying Red Bull.
Definitely
Verstappen could have had real chsmionship rivals in Leclerc or Russell it was unfortunate that lando was the one in that McLaren
Max Vs George seems like the next logical rivalry. Max has had a season long title battle with Lewis. He’s had somewhat of a title battle with Charles in 2022. And a much more prolonged championship battle with Lando in 2024.

Waited a long time for this
Mercedes showed up for one race to fuck up everyone's predictions💀
Merc would do that
If you knew racing, you knew Mercedes was good in the cold. What are you on about?
Qatar has no barrier close to the turns, so i hope Colpainto will show what he can do this next 2 races.
Imagine…
Petition to add quack quack to your intro.
Trust me bro
I wanna make a custom intro soon. Maybe for the 2025 season 👀

Unfortunate coincidence
William are going to be using the 2023 car in 2025 at this rate
Chuck needs to calm down, nobody cares who gets P2, it's barely a difference. Plus, it wasn't like Carlos sabotaged his race, it was a clean pass. Side note, Carlos is getting way more villainized than Piastri ever was. I thought Lando Norris fangirls were bad, but clearly Leclerc has more of them.
Surely if McLaren bottle the WCC and Norris bottles 2nd place it has to be the biggest bottle job in F1
One of the biggest at least
Took you long enough to post you had me waiting😔
Sorryyyy
You called Zhou "latifi" and he was in points majority of the race ... A bit better car and he would have gotten a point.... Lol XD
I really do jinx a lot
God gives his most expensive crashes to his poorest f1 teams
You are special
special to me :)
Thank you 🥹
5:58 Did you just casually dismiss Lewis as possible title contender for next year? O_O
Never underestimate Lewis feathered one, never underestimate Lewis.
He aint doin jack shit next year

So sad for Franco, he is not getting a 2025 seat now 💔
Yeah :/
RIP Sonny Hayes, I’m ashamed you didn’t have a minute silence (might have to unsubscribe). Also how hard was it to understand what was going on during the race
Not that hard tbh, mainly cus there was a giant screen in front of me lol
10:46 don't get too comfortable you will pay up or make that apology in Qatar ⬛🟩
Nahh since when did sauber fans 1) exist and 2) be optimistic
