I've had mine a few months now and I think it's a really great little car, the build is brilliant for the price and although you do have to put your foot down (a turbo would be great) it performs brilliant, much better all round than my previous 2 same class cars the Dacia Sandero and Skoda Fabia, bargain.
I'd never get one, moved one at a dealership and they handle poorly feel tinpot and for around the same price I'd reccomend a Suzuki Swift and Honda Jazz or Kia Picanto. Much better engineered, reliable and are established companies with good support and good warranties
Been using one as a courtesy car recently. I would not want to own one but it does drive nicely. I am used to a 6 speed gearbox and this could do with one. It feels solid.
You all prolly dont care at all but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Evan Charles i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Very rough car, everything squeaks, rough around Aussie roads, not bad for the price but test drive one thoroughly. MG Australia are very hard to contact as well, expect long wait times for anything.
I've just had one as a courtesy car for 24 hours. I really noticed how sluggish it was trying to get from say 40mph up to 60. And I was very surprised it only managed to get 38mpg in the 60 (mostly A road) miles I did in it. Does the e button put it in slower economy mode? Or just let it stop/start? My old Astra H 1.4 designed 20 years ago was bigger, more comfortable and did over 45mpg. Seats are comfy enough though and the infotainment system was OK.
Got a question. It's been rather warm for a few weeks yet, the coat and scarf are on, the leaves are on the ground; have you travelled forwards or backwards in time to film this review?
Hi Robert, sadly we don't have a time machine yet 🤣 This is a short edit uploaded later after we recorded the longer review here th-cam.com/video/yesPoUleIPc/w-d-xo.html
@@rivervalegroup I got a new Suzuki Swift hybrid. It really is good in all aspects. The MG 3 was honestly the worst car I’ve ever owned. Software issues, springs snapping. Losing power on roundabouts. Half the dash stopped working and had to wait months for a spare part.

How are you finding it? I’m looking at buying a 2023 one, I do about 24k a year so need something cheap and reliable

Yeah good quality comes with nice price tags

Aussies are the new whinging poms, complain about everything!
The colour 8" colour touch screen comes as standard - apart from the entry level model !! .... Not really standard then is it ?
Designed and engineered in the UK & built in UK until 2016. Very British car by a British brand owned by a Chinese company

@@rivervalegroup Shame about the time machine. Your explaination is a little less exciting 😬
@@robertlangham2356 don't tell anyone but we have a "Hot Tube Time Machine" 🤣
@@rivervalegroup 🤣👍
I wonder if the true MPG is surprisingly close to the highly strung 1 litre turbos that it’s competitors have
Does it have a timing belt or belts or a timing chain
It has a Timing Chain

Hi About the spare parts it is easier to find in England

i wont knock the car but im not sure about china and the ccp
crap car, heaps of bad reviews in Australia
what would you consider as an alternative? and what can MG improve for the next version?
@@rivervalegroup Kia Picanto
Aussie Bogans wouldn't know if their backside was on fire let alone what a good car is
Worst car I’ve ever had the misfortune to own.
