That is helpful I agree it’s promising it’s frustrating sometimes I put my all into my content on both channels I have and it’s like crickets
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,212 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I would be interested in the types of TH-cam videos that do best within various subject groups. Like how do vlogs, how to’s, etc compare within whatever the major content subjects, in terms of viewers, and whatever other metric you think might interest people

This is a great video! Thank you, Millie! I like to think that content creators or "influencers" are those who are self-made e.g., those who rose to fame online without any extra help (so I would exclude actors, reality TV stars, and people who had extra help) and focus on people who made a brand individually. Hopefully, that made sense!

Hey Millie, I've already watched this video like 5 or 6 times. Certain sections like 11 or 12. I LOVE this style of video. Please keep making them. Hoping maybe you can somewhat try to narrow down(if it's even possible), what a TH-camr can expect to earn at certain stages. Like 10k subscribers, 50k, 100k, etc... how much their income could come from affiliate links, possible sponsors or what have you, or just from straight plays that TH-cam pays out. Would there even be a way to narrow down some stats like that?

Millie thanks for this video! I love the stats and correlations, super interesting. I was thinking of similar videos but with less popular TH-camrs. 100k, 500k, 1000000 subs TH-camrs - what do these guys have in common? Styles? Videos? Or is it just about being consistent 😅 It would be great to see some success stories of someone less popular and who indeed is a content creator.
Btw. I don’t think Hollywood/standup guys who came to social media are pure content creators. To me a content creator is the one who started as a blogger and grew from that.
