Like if you take the time to sit with even just that first track and hear everything that's going on in it, it's absolutely wild how many genres this touches on. And it does it while creating a really uniform sound, with both quality and character. I mean, the person behind this really knows what they want, and executes it so well. I fucking love this.

Yes. Sometimes it takes some time to getting used to it (to different things, I mean, no about this record in particular). There are lots of things we "don't like" which sometimes is just a matter of having the right time to get to know it a bit better.
