Earth 1 and Earth 2 live comfortably (more or less) under the protection of their heroic organizations - the Justice League and the Justice Society of America. Meanwhile, Earth 3 isn’t as fortunate, as their superheroes are actually supervillains. And instead of the League, they have formed the Crime Syndicate - an organization run by super-criminals.
These supervillains are the evil doppelgangers of the League members. Being characters who are the counterparts of already established characters, you can expect their stories to be eerily similar, but somehow different, kind of like the type you’d expect from a mirror dimension.
The Crime Syndicate made their debut in 1964 in the DC Comics. Throughout the different continuities created by the Crisis events and Flashpoints, the Syndicate has evolved and their storylines have changed. And that is exactly what today’s video is all about.

Zombie variants of avengers. Iron Patriot AKA Norman Osbourne in a version of the suit= Ironman. Jagged Bow= Evil Hawkeye trained by Taskmaster
These Villainous Clones Of Justice League Members deserves a DCEU makerover from the Amazing and Awesome film directors and producers like James Wan, James Gunn, and Zack Snyder

They were about to introduce The Crime Syndicate at the end of the movie "Brightburn".. I hope that storyline is picked up again at some point.
It definitely should, that kid is undoubtedly Ultraman in the making. Too many hero stuff in the current media, anti hero stuff should be the new lime light.

Always a favorite of mine. Their 1st appearance was about a decade before I got into comics, and they made my favorite appearance in SSSV when I was a kid, but for some reason didn't get on my radar until that spectacular multi-part JLA/All-Star Squadron (boy thats a tricky one to abbreviate) in the early '80s. What I liked about them was that they weren't just The JLA given scowly faces or slightly darker costumes; they had legitimately cool costumes based on but not identical to their counterparts, their own names and (though never said) a real sense that they most or even all were separate people and not just their worlds Hal, Barry, Bruce, etc. Even Power Ring's origin was hinted at being different and (eventually) Johnny Quicks (though I thought he was tied into Fawcett's Bulletman somehow). Not a fan of the post Crisis ones undoing that and adding the antimatter stuff, but oh well. Thats a different team anyway, mine perished in Crisis.
These guys are perfect evil counterparts of the justice league happy to see a video of this evil version of the justice league.

They always reminded me of The Seven, who are not outright evil, but a sleazy version of the Justice League.
Ultraman & Homelander are unstable due to upbringing... Queen Maeve and Superwoman are very promiscuous, and oddly enough can fly... A-Train & Johnny Quick battle a similar addiction, and also have super-powered girlfriends (Though Johnny Quick earned to run at such intense speed where he can also fly)
On Earth 3, the Emerald Knight Ring seems to act as a reverse Yellow Ring. Its Deity is probably a resembles Ion in appearance, but Parallax in nature.
Owl man def had himself a glow up… Dude was might as well have been in a clown costume.

If Tim Burton was to ever give a chance to do a Crime Syndicate movie. I believe he would do it. He love the villains more than heroes so to do a villain universe of the different world he'll nailed it especially with Owlman

I been saying it for a decade that Warner bros need to make a live action Crime Syndicate but surprisingly ten years ago a lot of fans said, " We don't care about the Crime syndicate." Now those same people are on the bandwagon and want a live action Crime Syndicate smh.

The only bad thing about this is that I always thought the name was Kal Il (capital I, small l) but I guess it's Kal II (two capital i's, the Roman number 2). Who knew.

That's for the backstories & inside information. The 2010 "Justice League: Crisis On 2 Earths" is still the best DC Animated Movie to date. They really should adapt it to a live action movie. If done right, they could compete with Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War."
Great video, a very interesting twist on the JL indeed my fave being Owlman. Their animated depiction was awesome. I think Ultraman made a live appearance on a Smallville sn 10 ep if i'm not wrong in an alternate universe as the adopted son Of Lionel Luthor oops🙊, sorry for the spoilers to the people that haven't watched that yet and care

yeah, it should be Jor-IL and Kal-IL. i don't think they really read the stories... they didn't make the connection between El (EL) and Il (ILL), and that's not even Power Ring at 17:50 and 18:03. i haven't read anything about the new Earth 3.
@@themaxx4381 Similar powerset, but the more recent version has an entire corps of them, I'm thinking that the Zamarons are similar to the Amazons in that universe, where they seek out narcissistic women for their own corps. (like Superwoman is) Although they changed that to El with this latest version of Ultraman, who killed his cousin. (who was morally the same in both universes)
As far as I know they've never shown Zod & Faora in the Crime Syndicate Universe. I would have though that the Legion of Justice would have tried to access the phantom zone to access Kryptonians to counter Ultraman.

It's even a story Disney execs want. Have him fight whomever while having to deal with his "mental health." To win, he must meld Banner, Green Hulk and Gray Hulk into the Hulk he is now. It writes itself! GIVE US "MR. FIX-IT!"
Would have been an excellent live action film - hope it can happen after Justice League / Darkseid version - this is basically "The Boys" minus Vought Industries.
The foundational tale of the DC comics multiverse arc was Flash Of Two Worlds in the 1960's something. Jay Garrick the Golden Age Flash and Barry Allen the Silver Age Flash coexist on parallel earths. But this is basic knowledge to any comic book geek.
In retrospect, what (I think) they got wrong was referring to the parallel * other * earth as Earth 2...the parallel events, like the heroes acquiring their power, take place a couple decades ahead of like event one * our* (the reader's / comic book purchaser's) world.

Here's what I've always felt was the most bizarre part. The concepts of evil and good are completely swapped. In their universe, evil IS good and vice versa and I never totally understood this until I saw 3s Jim Gordon. When he found that the JL of 3 was done, he actually was elated that he'd be able to rise with his rackets.

Man, Owlman's costume design back in the Silver age was horrible! Marvel had its fair share of bad costume designs during that time but DC's designs were notoriously Baddddd - "Lets see for Owlman lets just put a big owl on his head" Thats just very Sad....LOL Owlman's costume has definitely of course greatly improved since then and he's been one of my favorite DC characters for quite some time now. The character is from an alternate version of Earth of course but it would be kind on cool to involve Owlman (and the Syndicate in general) into the DCEU somehow.

It would be a great movie that forces them to be heroes. They aren't villains to the same degree the actual DCU villains like Darkseid or the Joker are. They are more like Marvel Anti heroes like the Punisher, or Wolverine. If a threat arose to their world, they would go Justice League and save it. Ultraman would be indistinguishable from Superman fearlessly and relentlessly fighting the threat. So I would have the movie begin with them being the Crime Syndicate gangsters terrorizing people in their world, for about a half an hour, then the hour of setting up the villain and it's threat to their world, as well as their response. The last half hour would be about how they prevailed, and took the world threat villain OUT!@@!

@@Reprodestruxion Yes, and they are much darker, deadlier, more like real brutal criminals, the sort you find in Federal Prison. In the Marvel Universe, Superwoman wouldn't even have to be a villain, with her power level, she would be getting government contracts to take out beings like Dr. Doom, and other leaders the Government want gone. She likes to fight, she likes to kill, she likes to dominate powerful males, she likes wealth, so she would be a black ops hitwoman paid handsomely by the government to take out male leaders the government wanted eliminated. Ultraman is a lot like a more powerful Homelander who acts on the impulse to kill, instead of controlling himself. He's someone who would, for a fee paid by the government, fight enemies who are a threat to the Earth.

J'edd J'arkus: he's Earth-3's Martian Manhunter, unlike Martian Manhunter who's weakness is Fire, J'edd J'arkus gets stronger from Fire (Similar to how Ultraman gets enhanced through Kryptonite), J'arkus has a rivalry with Grid and Owlman, he would have Four Arms
Archer: he's Earth-3's Green Arrow, he's the opposite of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow who's a Liberal Leftist where Archer is a Right Wing Republican, Archer is Shown to be in a romantic relationship with Black Scream, he and Black Scream rule Earth-3's Star City with an Iron Fist
Black Scream: she's Earth-3's Black Canary, she's shown to be in a Romantic relationship with Archer, but she's sexually promiscuous and uses her sexuality to intimidate people of Earth-3's Star City, unlike Black Canary who has a soft spot for Children, Black Canary does not!
They did he was called the Martian ( Earth 3 J’onn J’onzz) but he was left back on Earth 3 he came back but was killed by Pandora
