Ready for this? Ahhhhhh... it's not that, just a min... it's comin'. Where's the next... I always get.... confused because it sounds the same... little bit before, then it goes into the... it's comin... comin' up... EWWWWWWW! Feel the power of that! The thumbwork!!
Being a bass player that loves slapping, I'm not a big fan of making fun of it, but this was absolutely hysterical! The part with the bear getting pist was killing me.
@@theparanoidandroid3583 Level 42 was the name of a British band from the 1980s and 90s. Mark King (who the Hitch mentions in that video) was in the band. Slap bass was his trademark.
@@tobetrayafriend Ah okay, that makes sense! (I'm still convinced that they must have listened to/read/watched Hitchhiker's at some point, the humour is similarly weird!)
I know it's random, but the music sounds like the background to the line that goes "Why don't you back off? This isn't a race now. Slow it down and give me some space." during the dance routine. idk I guess it's just me.
Well funk does play a prominent role in both this episode and the Old Gregg one, so if they already had a funk music file created they might as well use it in another episode focused around funk.
The mixture of the cerebral musicality of jazz mixed with the visceral groove of funk
Why Netflix hasn't picked up The Mighty Boosh yet is beyond me this show needs way more U.S exposure here.
“Jazz’s deformed cousin”. Thank you Noel and Julian for making my life that little bit better 😊

I think we can all relate to that. "Here it comes! Just wait! After the next bit! just about now! No hang on a bit!"

I loved that show! Those two guys worked so well together!!!
To be fair, that is some pretty intense thumb work.
Feel the power of his fusion lick!!!

You love it you Slags 🤣❤️🔥
I've not melted you onion, wehey am off!
I love how when the green guy is playing bass it's obviously midi bass sounds
Try the drum and bass section from Big Mac by the Buddy Rich orchestra.
Souunda like Miles' early 70's Fusion stuff before the slap bass kicks in.
As the years pass, I realize I am morphing into a female Howard moon….
"Get back to Level 42, and go about your business."
I'm pretty sure they must have been fans of the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy

It does fit in my head music.

1:03 club tropicana
Sounds kinda similar to Herbie Hancock - Palm grease
I wonder if Davie504 ever saw this.
It's a fusion of jazz and funk. It's called "junk".
fuzz
who else actually likes this?!
He looks like a green white walker at the end.
tab please? :D
and it;s "you're moving too fast it isn't a race" Not 'why don;t you back off this isn't a race'
