I'm glad it won some awards, but on Steam it didn't win any, it was a contender for some awards but somehow didn't win any of them, and one of it's contenders was Deathloop that somehow won the award instead
act 2 is my favorite due to all the cards and wild deck building mechanics. every deck type has interactions with all other deck types. like turning bones into energy, having a robotic bug that costs energy but gives 3 blood to sacrifice, magic cards that spend energy and bones for power, even a bone card that has infinite sacrifice AND triple blood. theres also several tricks to deal infinite damage in one attack. like the above mentioned infinite sacrifice 3 blood used to summon then hammer orobouros over and over so it buffs stats.
Same, act 2 and 3 were my fav, too bad the were pretty short and there's only a mode for endless act 1, would be nice if they somehow made modes for those 2 acts as well

hey everyone, you CAN brute force the pillar to the goo-verse. the tower only activates when you BACK OUT of the input wheels. It will not activate while the wheels are up. to brute force you need to put an input, then back out and if it doesn't work go back in an change it.
I know it's 4 months late but whatever, you can't actually brute force the pillar. I did it on a 2nd playthrough for achievements. I certainly see both sides. The main thing, is he only gets to experience that discovery once, and if it is spoon fed then there is no feeling of achievement. Puzzles aren’t fun if you are given the answer. The flip side of course is that, I don’t think he noticed the top button to reset the field, and because he didn’t see the point of the other buttons he just rushed through them. Different people have different views of backseating, but I think the advice of “look for all the camera options” may have been okay accepted. This game has an insane amount of secrets buried in it. It is also part of the David Mullin Metaverse, which started with Pony Island, then continued with the Hex, then finally Inscryption here. It has a huge ARG that explains where the old_data came from. IF you want the overall story, I will put it below, MASSIVE spoilers bewarned if you don't want to know the meta of whats going on here. -----------Spoilers below---------------- The Old_Data is a combination of the Kernuffle code, which gives the scribes sentience, and data given by Satan himself. IT is incredibly evil powerful cold war era data that has dark secrets and Gamefuna wants it. However the reason why Gamefuna wants it is interesting. Basically what happens in the Hex leads to video game characters killing and taking over the bodies of the gamefuna devs, running it themselves. There is a super crazy game program though, who is the one that kills the card guy at the end. (If you go frame by frame, when she shoots the guy, you see a single frame of her face superimposed over the ladies face.) The reason she killed the guy to get the old data is a bit unknown right now, but powerful data that can give sentience to programs and was made by the devil himself (Pony island is where he makes the old data) is really strong.
When I played this part of the game, I literally did not know I had to make a deck of 20 cards. As such, I went throughout every corner of the map to collect every card pack and got frustrated after 40 minutes of revisiting the same things over and over again until I said fuck it and searched a youtube video. I still feel like a dumb ass.
This was amazing to watch, there were frustrating moments that I didn’t think were possible but Otz with his can-do attitude makes even the worst plays look incredibly fun
Watching him play this was so frustrating. He's so clever, but couldn't understand the mechanic of gaining one energy point per turn. Like, he gets it eventually, but I feel he over thinks and over complicates things lol. Smart man, but expects so much from a very simple mechanic.
I think he expects complex gameplay and certain formats for currency/mechanics, so when a mechanic is simple or abnormal it blindsides him. like he asked where he can check his blood like it's a resource, when it simply signifies death.
I'm just gonna disagree on that. It's just very clear that card games aren't his cup of tea and that he isn't very well versed in the idea of engines, resource generation, card holding etc. If the resources like energy were the only thing he had trouble with then he would have been playing fine after understanding that you gain 1 energy per turn for example. But calling his plays suboptimal would be an understatement. Not everyone is good at every type of game and that's fine.
The ending part with Leshy made me ball my eyes out, it truly reminds me of the death of my dad when I was 12 and the pain it brought afterwards. All the emotions that went through my head with his death were in that moment, especially when Leshy wishes to continue playing the game but cannot. Him saying that reminds me of how much I wish I could have played just one more game of chess with my dad as we used to play it often, or play a round of Mario bros on our NES one more time. I stopped playing with my dad due to the cancer entering his brain which made him lose his sanity, he became aggressive with everything over the years which scared me as a kid so I interacted with him less and less. All in all, Inscryption's ending depicted the symbols and emotions of death aside from the lore which is cool but it has no real meaning to me... Well made Daniel Mullins

Sad thing is when you have such a high viewer count, the help from chat is diminished on a personal level. Really wish chat held his hand for a few of the easy to miss but content adding Easter eggs. The extra boss that is, and the bone lord area.
It's just that his mods were pretty annoying. You're still playing a game for the audience and if a litttle backseating results in more content it's fine imo. Ig That was entirely up to otz himself though.
I am gonna watch this video when I completed this game you made me to play this game 😁 and now I have to beat it only after that I can watch your video
you get to see all 3 acts in these vids, theres also tons of secrets and a whole arg. (Solved, sadly, but theres some fun vids and lore to see) then theres an official dlc called kaycees mod, that turns the first act in the cabin into a full on roguelite, with challenge modifiers and new bosses and a bunch of additions but without as much story.

You place it down for free, it gives you free energy, and you can hammer the snot out of it to keep placing it and destroying everything on the board.
The music in this game is amazing! Especially while fighting the Leshy!
I'd say it's my third favourite game OST, behind Risk of Rain 1 and 2's OSTs. It fits the game so damn well.
This game is amazing i love to see you playing it
Best 12 hours spent on watching two videos
I just finished the first 5h Part, glad I get to follow up right away
I never thought to look in the Settings for the answer to Magnificus 3rd puzzle.
hello friends this is friends, if you can't stand the 360p video, the HQ twitch VOD is up on Otz's twitch.
Excited to see you try Kaycee's Mod soon. Kaycee's Mod forces you to truly understand all the intricacies of the cards, which you seemed to be saying you didn't have enough time for.
No, it really doesn't. Pick mantis god and win every run.
@@kyrax9462 not if you go for every challenge modifier at the same time
@@maverick_os mantis god, ring worm, get lucky once, gg
@@kyrax9462 yeah, and not every run you get lucky, so not every run you win. Also if you're playing without backseating like otz is then how do you learn about the ring worm interaction? By trying everything with every card, learning the intricacies.
@@maverick_os zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Yoooooo i was just thinking about your 1st gameplay and then i found its updated? Fuck yeah im watching this rn
This game is giving me Marble Hornets feels, ngl
Had to stop and go watch otz's dbd videos to restore my faith in him for the playthrough
Well, so much for sleeping.
It's available in HD now! Thanks Mr TH-cam
The pillar code with po3 can be brute forced. But you need to have the right code, step back and click on it again for it to work...
So happy this is up been waiting
Yeah I like the looping you done on it was very smooth
He looped leshy for 5 gens earlier
Hey Otz, i dont known if you will see this comment, but another game that is trully interesting, that i love playing is REDCON.
You will love it, is a strategy game, with a creepy story behind it, and a crap ton of ways to personalize your gameplay.
And I also would love if u could bring this game to your channel, really, this game is very unique, you will not regret it.
Love watching your content
watching him do the puzzles when you figured out the answers turned out to be very frustrating
no offense of course i mean this in the nicest way possible
Am i the only one who would really like a irl inscription card game?
Dude I love this game so much
Sad thing is when you have such a high viewer count, the help from chat is diminished on a personal level.
Is it just me or does otz look very handsome in the thumbnail?
What a game?!?! I loved watching you play this game, what a mind f? & ended pretty sad, tbh 😢 but I thought it was amazing
worth the 7 hours
I am gonna watch this video when I completed this game you made me to play this game 😁 and now I have to beat it only after that I can watch your video
I am seriously considering buying this game just from the first part.
you get to see all 3 acts in these vids, theres also tons of secrets and a whole arg. (Solved, sadly, but theres some fun vids and lore to see)
then theres an official dlc called kaycees mod, that turns the first act in the cabin into a full on roguelite, with challenge modifiers and new bosses and a bunch of additions but without as much story.
i bought it, dont regret it! youll have a nice time
Was looking forward to part 2
still 360 = =
*EDIT: Finally! Time to watch~*
Amazing, refreshing game!
