One of my favorites is Once in a Blue Moon. You should also listen to Brotherly Love. You can't go wrong with any Earl Thomas Conley.
"Brotherly Love" with the late, great Keith Whitley
As a Okie he is My favorite singer, ETC had so many hits. Thank for sharing...
RIP Earl Thomas Conley. We have your music forever to listen to.
Earl had i think, 14 straight #1 songs. Crazy he isn't in the Country Hall of fame
Free FRAA free and easy. Thanks, it's be amazing that is a good song.I like it too.Dark spirit way you're talking dark spirit radar, when you're saying FRAA for you're amazing.Let's start expanding
This is why REAL, old country can't be beat; you can see and feel his angst, and pain( he was so good at it)🤠Mark Chestnut, Ricky Van Shelton( statue of a fool video)is also so dang good
RVS ! INDEED
That Was A Close One, What I'd Say, Once In A Blue Moon, and Angel In Disguise are awesome by Earl Thomas Conley
They already did What I’d say.
18 #1 Hit Country songs and 7 other Top 10's is very impressive by Mr. Conley!
I love earl Thomas Connelly. This is one of my favorite.
His catalog is outstanding. You can't go wrong with any of his music.
I adore ETC's song, "Once in a Blue Moon." I hope y'all will react to it sometime. 😊
Beautiful sad song, but it is still about cheating. That’s what makes it a country song.😊 For great harmonies, The Oak Rig Boys have incredible harmonies and tons of hit songs demonstrating that harmony.
Listen to Angel in Disguise. It was my parent’s wedding song.
Somewhere Between Right and Wrong...good ET Conley song
OMG one of my FAVORITE songs FAVORITE artists!!
Need to do Once in a Blue Moon. You also loved the Keith Whitley song need to check out the duet he did with Earl Thomas Conlee. .Their voices blend together so well they have the same tone . Brotherly Love.
His song Crowd "Around the Corner" is a song about days gone by and it brings a tear to your eyes @ the end or the video. RIP to another great voice.
Saw him in concert years ago. Wonderful and love this song.
These are the greatest heart jerking country music songs ever recorded the incomparable ETC.
She always gets it.
Earl Thomas Conley was the only country artist to appear on Soul Train.
It was a duet with Anita Pointer.
ETC was a terrific country artist who sang with a soulful and wonderful voice. “That Was A Close One” and “I Can’t Win For Losing You” are two of his best songs.
Once in a blue moon is one of his best songs.
I love his voice!! He had so many hits!! I love Alabama too for harmonies I also LOVE Diamond Rio for their amazing harmonies!! Please react to them again soon!!❤❤❤
Check out his duet with Emmylou Harris, "We Believe in Happy Endings." He also sang duets with Keith Whitley, Gus Hardin, and Anita Pointer and wrote hits for Conway Twitty. You can't go wrong with any of his hits.
Another great song, thank you! Check out Red Sovine, "Teddybear."
Such a good song. My Daddy ❤ love, love, loved that song so much. 😊🙏🍁
Love this one. ETC has a unique voice. ❤❤❤
He’s one of my favorites. Try his song ‘What I’d Say’ next. Another one I’d like to see a reaction to is ‘All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight’ by Hank Williams Hr.
He has SO many great songs. You might check out Nobody Falls Like a Fool, Love Don't Care Whose Heart it Breaks, Once in a Blue Moon, and Heavenly Bodies
Nobody Falls is a killer cut.
"Angel In Disguise" by Earl Thomas Conley is a beautiful song. Some might argue it's his best song. I'd have to go with "What I'd Say" personally.
While you are on a 80s and 90s country kick…look up Steve Wariner. Amazing list of hits. My personal favorite is Leave Her Out of This, but there are so many more. Some Fools Never Learn…Two Tear Drops…Holes in the Floor of Heaven, the list could go on and on.
Love Steve Wariner .
Holes in the floor of heaven is a beautiful song!
The Weekend by Steve Wariner is Our Song- mine and my husband of 35 years - we started out only seeing each other on weekends- and it continued for two years before we got married. The first gift he gave me was a Steve Wariner cassette tape!
I Think you would really enjoy don Williams - Good ol’ boys like me“ similar styles, era and genre.
Oh my gosh yes!! They should go down the Don Williams rabbit hole. 😊
'Right From The Start' is my favorite Earl Thomas Conley song! Please do that one!
Seen him in concert years ago. Great singer.
side note to this song!!! As a singer in a CW band in the 80's - whenever this song was song - there were far fewer folks on the dance floor that the song before or after!!! Guilty conscience on someone's part?? makes one wonder as this song IS about cheating on your spouse!! The couples ON the dance floor were all solid married folks or first-time dance partners!! This was a dance hall near an Army base in TX so we had a huge single male crowd every night - they were all dancing but the local population - not so much!!! wonder why this song triggered that??? Love this artist!!!!!
"Guilty conscience on someone's part??" ... Ya don't say...
He has several great songs
ETC was not only a great singer but an accomplished sculptor
What I love about your video reactions is that you don't seem to judge the content. You accept if for what it is. I felt that your reaction to this particular song was so beautiful, accurate, and nonjudgmental. Thank you for appreciating the beauty and the talent.
For some great harmony try The Gatlin Brothers- All the Gold in California.
They definately need some Gatlin Brothers!!! "I've done Enough Dying Today" will always be my favorite!
You should really go down the Earl Thomas Conley rabbit hole.
You guys have to check out the Keith Whitley duet with Earl Thomas Conley called Brotherly Love. It will make you smile all over.
This man is a legend...please play more of him..
While your are on the Conlee please look up Jon Conlee and his song “ Rose Colored Glasses . “
Speaking of Iconic Jon Conlee has a ton of number one hits .
Friday Night Blues is my favorite Conlee song.
Backside of Thirty is another good one.
@@JamesPatrick-cf7vd ,"Common Man" is another good one by John Conlee.
One of my faves!
May he rest in peace... 💗
Earl Thomas Conley, Once in a Blue Moon
He was my favorite singer back in the '80's and he still gets to me all these years later.
ETC is one of my favorite country singers. His voice is so unique and natural.
Only celebrity i shook hands with
Brotherly love with Earl T Conley and Keith Whitley
ETC is one of the greatest nobody of todays world knows about!
Legendary
Every song he did was great, but his best in my opinion both melodically and lyrically was “What I’d Say”
As a songwriter, that one is So well written
You’ve listened to Keith Whitley in the past. These two have a song they do together called Brotherly Love. Awesome story behind it with two of the most unique voices in country.
amber you need to do earl Thomas Conley and Keith Whitley. brotherly love you have to do the official video
"What I'd say" is probably my next fav after this one. Worth the listen!
and as I thought of that old song, I see that yall have already reacted to it! Love it! and love yall!
ETC…royalty. 👑
If y'all think Earl Thomas Conley's good check out Vern gosdin chiseled in stone
Ohhh yes! I love that song and his Voice!!! ❤❤
Such a beautiful sounding song, so much so that you forget it's about cheating and leaving your spouse, he sounds very much like my ex after 24 yrs, after he left and I found out he had a fiancée before the D was complete. It's a problem inside the person leaving, it's never really about the one left behind. One guess on who's the happiest now 🙂, while the other is still not complete after 15 yrs gone, but he's still M to the other person so all is good there and I wish no harm to him. ETC's best song is "Once in a Blue Moon"
“You Still Move Me” by Dan Seals is similar to this one in subject matter. Great songs.
CROWD AROUND THE CORNER
Sometimes we think we are with the "right one", until the "right one" comes along. Then choices have to be made and they are never easy.
You guys are awesome!❤
ooooooo - LOVE me some EARL THOMAS CONLEY!!! :) Hope ya'll have having a GREAT DAY!!! HUGS!
Now you need to do Mary Macgregor "Torn Between Two Lovers", a 70's Mega Hit.
Another request for Lyle Lovett (musician/songwriter/actor) been around since the 80s - that’s right (you’re not from Texas), here I am, you’ve been so good up to now, you can’t resist it, penguin, my baby don’t tolerate, cowboy man, funny how time slips away w/al green. Also, Marty Stuart. He's been around awhile (played with veterans like Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash). You could check out some of his songs like Hillbilly Rock, Western Girls, Little Things, Going, Going, Gone, Burn Me Down, Tempted, Time Don't Wait and a couple with Travis Tritt, The Whiskey Ain't Workin' and Honky Tonkin's What I Do Best.
One of the greatest country singers of all time, right up there with Keith Whitley. Thanks for doing some more ETC!
John Conley Rose Color Glasses is a good song.
John Conley had some great hits but often gets overlooked by reactors. An excellent suggestion.
That used to be "my" song for awhile back in the day. Mostly because it was the first song I ever danced with a certain person to. Unfortunately there were Rose Colored Glasses involved in that relationship for awhile.
Love the bass intro, the piano and the lead guitar solo.
Thanks!
Another good band with amazing harmonies is Diamond Rio. Beautiful mess and one more day.
Great suggestion
ETC is Incredible
Amber, you'll love his Brotherly Love with Keith Whitley- bet you'll recognize your brothers in the lyrics!✌️❤️
It’s a totally true story and he did marry the love of his life and they were together until he died. She’s the sweetest woman on earth.
Powerful song!
Earl thomas is a great country singer
Powerful song
A duet with Earl Thomas Conley and Keith Whitley "brotherly love" is in my opinion, one of the best feom both artists. And "once in a blue moon" is great too.
He is Blake Sheltons influence and his hero😉🤠❤
But unfortunately Blake Shelton couldn't carry his lunch pail!
Please give Vern Gosdin a listen! Please do Chiseled In Stone!!!!
Y'all mentioned Alabama having great harmony, and that's true. But y'all have not yet listened to the Gatlin brothers. They also have great harmony, especially in the song "Broken Lady". I think y'all would really enjoy that.
You also mentioned country mutic being able to make you cry. On that note, you should check out "Teddy Bear" by Red Sovine. He is my favorite country storytelling artist.
This is ETC at his very best. He and Crystal Gayle were the king and queen of heartache country songs of the 1980s.
The statler bros,
The oak ridge boys, the gatling bros, is all about the harmonies.
Nothing better than a love gone bad song!!
ETC voice is awesome you should listen to Kathy Mattea Time Passes On or the real tear jerker Where Have You Been she is an amazing country singer
And “Where’ve You Been?”
ETC is LEGEND. This is one of the "best" cheating songs in Country Music. Great reaction
Was waiting for this
This theme spawned at least two #1 hits. This one was a #1 in '83. Mary MacGregor had a similarly themed #1 song, "Torn Between Two Lovers", in 1976. Equal time for the girls?
I can’t win for losing you. ETC was a great singer!
An absolute great song!!! Another great song is “Only the Wind” by Billy Dean if you guys are interested….
Rock and a hard place indeed. I suggest Martha Davis--Don't Tell Me The Time (1987).
Diamond Rio has the best harmonies.
One more day is amazing.
I hated country music until the late 80’s. I opened my mind to it & loved country music from then on. Alabama was an exception, I loved them as soon as they came on the radio. This song is very nice!👍🎼🎵🎶💜💜
Great reaction I love that song I’d really love for you to react to Vince Gill’s pocket full of Gold another great song
Once in a blue moon, what id say, couple of my favs of ETC
You Must Not Be Drinking Enough
I have several of his songs on my playlist. I love this song.
There are 3 great R&B songs with a similar theme: "It's All Over" by The Impressions, "If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Wanna Be Right" by Luther Ingram, and "The Outside Woman" by Bloodstone.
I always wondered how he thought when her told her she wouldn't leave him
Y’all mentioned Alabama with the best Country harmonies; but you’re missing another great harmonizing groups; Three brothers from Texas; active since the early 1970s. Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers; eldest brother Larry as lead singer with Rudy and Steve as backing vocals. Check out “Broken Lady” from 1975.👍❤️👍❤️👍
Another good one is brotherly Love by Keith Whitley and Earl Thomas Conley
Somewhere between right and wrong is a good one too
About dang time you got to this song 💕
Saw him opening for Reba, great night!
