Go to the Angel Hotel and ask to go to the old cocktail bar where they have 12th century tunnels. I used to run the bar and on various separate occasions I heard the footsteps of a child running. Had 3 people tell me they had seen a 5 year old girl down there.
A nicely framed portrait of this historic town, conveyed in a sequence of 'telling' images. The decorative engravings on the headstones were quite extraordinary, as was the magnificent vaulting of the cathedral interior. Was it a bat or a rat hanging from the pub ceiling? Probably depends on how much you've consumed! Thank you.
‘Bury St. Edmunds’ - it always sounded to me more like an instruction rather than a location, lol. As in ‘I came to bury Caesar…’ Kudos on another excellent and informative video. And some fancy post-production effects too! Buoy viaggio, SWAL.
Beautifully filmed 🎥 and informative 👌. The string quartet with the cello is so apt!! as soundtrack. I would fear for u and Teddy 🧸 if that guy Matthew was still at large 🙀😾!! Superb Ms Sam. 😀
I'm sure I'd want to sit down with a cursed cat hanging around 🤣 I'm enjoying your videos by the way Sam. I've subscribed to your channel and I'm watching from the beginning upwards ok. The UK has amazing history throughout 🇬🇧 I'm from Rugby Warwickshire which is famous for William Webb Ellis 🏉 Rugby School. Other history aswell in and around the town itself 👍
Are you Spanish or Italian Sam? Your dusky look and demeanor say to me that you have that southern european flair and style. Light, fragrant and free. I know this is out there for all to see, but hey. Would love to share a bottle of Prosecco or two among the sacred stones of Avebury in Wiltshire in the spring. The sheep run free and spawn their young with free abandon. The Red Lion Pub, haunted and full of mystery. You have Malborough and Calne down the road. Quaint little places to explore and stay.
another cool video , well done and thank you again Sam 😊
Brilliant! The Cello music was quite haunting and the music at the end was pretty eerie too. A very interesting video.
Thank you! The church definitely needed something majestic and sombre 😊 very glad you enjoyed it

Lovely town. I wish we could hear your commentary throughout.

12:25 didn't mathew hopkins consider cats to be witches familiars? 🤔
...so did witches 🤔😂 the mummification of "familiars" is a curious practice...
@@SamWalksALot I wouldn't want one in my front room 😂
@m_a_a_a_r_k You really don't! 😂 besides, I don't think they were on display like they are now 😂
0:26 is the pub haunted because it has so many spirits? 😂
Actually there's supposed to be the ghost of a boy there 🤔 and the cat is definitely cursed, as Olly told me 🤔
@@SamWalksALot ghosts 😂😂 best get scooby doo and the gang down there
