      And those are city girls. Get out into the province and they might not speak English as well but they are mostly very traditional. You won't hear anything Western in their thinking. And they will appreciate what you can bring to improve their lives much more. All relationships are transactional. There is no problem with that. But I will say that having first traveled there 20 years ago, the place is changing quick and not in good ways. Many Filipinas are more Westernized than they will admit. You learn that once you date them. What they say might not be how they actually are, esepcially on camera.

    3:08 I know exactly what this girl is talking about. I live in the US but visited the PH a couple years ago for a family wedding and one of my cousins who lives in Australia married an Armenian/Australian guy. The atmosphere is just so awkward when he was around because his background and culture was just so different. He would just make rude and inconsiderate comments/actions and i can tell my aunts/uncles will be just uncomfortable or just look at him in disbelief but they just wont speak up because its just not done in our culture to be confrontational like that. I had no problems doing it myself because it was irritating me how he kept doing it the whole time. He tried to watch himself after i spoke with him but it just didn't leave a good impression on all the relatives and family members. Whenever we all went out without him it was just so much easier and relaxing. Getting in a relationship with other asians doesn't put as much strain because the values and culture are somewhat similar to each other.

      I knew she was going to say something about a guy being too controlling. When you enter a committed relationship things should change. No more going out to the clubs with your girlfriends. That's a bad idea anyhow. I was a bouncer in Chicago. The idea that men and women put themselves into a hyper sexualized atmosphere with copious amounts of booze flowing is just insane looking back on it. Especially when already in a relationship. Time to grow up. Stop acting like you're 20 when you're 25. There is nothing sadder than watching a 30 year old woman in the club.

      its not amazing, you were colonized and working for dollars now, a different form of colonialism

    • @DonRobShow
      @DonRobShow  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That's a pretty negative take. Also the first nation that colonised them was Spain which heavily influenced Filipino language and culture.
      Filipinos learning english has been a major boost to their economy especially compared to other east asian countries. Majority of all tech companies employ filipinos because of how proficient they are in English and because of how reliable and trustworthy their dispositions are.
      It is amazing. The world seeks to be connected and communicate with one another. English, Spanish, and Mandarin are making that possible along with many other languages that people seek to learn to communicate and not be fearful of one another.

    To some who comments Filipino women are after their money.. how we know you are loaded at first sight? Will you provide bank statement whatsoever in your dating stage? Know the person first and their personality if you think it fits your preferences, then you can move the next stage..
    Filipino women in general are looking forward to building a happy family.. even Filipino career women, it will reach a point that she wants to build her own family..
    We really don't need rich men to be happy, but we need a responsible man who is sincere, loyal, treats you kind and with respect, even if you are just earning an average or just a stable job Filipino women will wholeheartedly love and care for you because we don't want short time relationship we want a lifetime partner..

      That's the typical reply of passport bros who ONLY has money to offer. 😅
      Its their only asset -- no personality, no values, no looks, broke in reality... I'm a Filipina and we know it! Cant fool us ! 💪
