DIY: Turmeric Scrub | Face/Body Scrub (4 Ingredients)

Cheers to another DIY! Today i’ll be showing you all how to make this AMAZING Turmeric Scrub! Yes, you can use this scrub on your face/body,hands & even feet! This scrub is amazing at removing dark spots over time and is good for acne. It’s easy and only 4 ingredients were used (but of course you can alter the ingredients with whatever works for you and what exactly your goal is!
*HELPFUL INFO ON INGREDIENTS**
Sugar : Natural humectant which provides moisture and hydrates, natural source of glycolic acid (an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that breaks down dead skin cells).
Turmeric (of your choice) : helps with hyperpigmentation and promotes glowing skin
Sweet Almond Oil : safe for most skin types but if you have a nut allergy you may want to do a spot test, treats dry skin, may help with hyperpigmentation
Honey : natural humectant, good for acne, brightens skin, helps with hyperpigmentation
*INGREDIENTS/WHAT YOU NEED*
Sugar
Turmeric
Oil(s) of your choice
Honey (Raw or Manuka preferred)
Spoon (or something to stir with)
pippettes (optional)
Container (to mix ingredients in)
Container (to store product in)

A couple drops of tea tree oil is also good to add to this recipe since its a fungal fighting essential oil

I work with Éminence Organics and I wonder how it would be to use their Turmeric Energizing Powder. And it doesn’t stain. Which is amazing.
You apply on face rinse before you apply on the body after it can you use facial cream and pomade

yes whatever oils that is suitable to your skin type go for it! argon oil is very good for acne prone skin due to it being non comedogenic meaning it doesn’t clog pores , it’s also a good moisturizer and helps treats acne etc! argan oil would be a great oil to use in this scrub! thanks for watching i hope you enjoyed! please let me know how yours turned out and how this scrub has helped you! 🤗

When scrub is applied how long do I leave it in for before rinsing off?
i personally do not leave it on
you can just scrub it on your face gently and rinse off right after

can i use olive oil instead?
yes depending on skin type skin olive oil is comedogenic meaning it could clog pores it’s not suggested for acne prone skin but i personally have combination skin more on the oily/acne prone and i use olive oil on my face and my face loves it

How many days we can store it
shelf life goes off of the date your ingredients that you used expires so for instance if you used the same ingredients as me and all of your ingredients expires in 2 years except for your sweet almond oil for some reason expires in two months you would use it up to two months. 🤗 i hope i answered your question. & i apologize for the long paragraph but i hope this helps.

@@paschalbeauty no problem girl. I also have a question if you don’t mind me asking, so I just started this tumeric mask with honey. It have made by skin very soft. but I’m getting these little red bumps it is true that it gets bad before it gets good? Everybody have so much good things to say about tumeric so I really want to continue my journey. But I’m not sure if me getting bumps are normal.
