Wow, that is an intricate and busy bass line, but it doesn't get in the way. Absolutely fantastic Geordie. Great song selection and what a bass line. Played perfectly. Thanks for sharing this Elvis tune.
Beautiful!! Well done. The bass player does not get the attention he or she deserves and this performance proves it. i alwys try to follow the bass in the song I am listening to.
This is a great bass line, but it's no where near what is actually played on the Elvis recordings. The original bass line is much simpler, and has just a few spots where he actually does any walks. It's mostly half and whole notes. The bass doesn't even do the walking part at the beginning of the song, that's the guitar and piano that does it. Just for the purists in the crowd that want to play the same as the recording. That being said, this is a really good bass line for this song, and it adds a lot to it.

Truly appreciate you doing these Elvis covers, not only that but you have been choosing some of his best songs in my opinion. Thank you.
Thanks 👍
I never appreciated how damn interesting this bass line until now. All those little variations. Brilliant and thanks.

Thanks Thomas 👍I think quite alot of these pre 60's songs were performed on a upright bass, so I've embellished this one abit.
Such a fun bass line to play :D
