are the condo's in SC under similar laws as Florida with regards to HOA fee's and inspections of the buildings after so many years?
Thank you for your question. No, right now there are no laws requiring these however that is something in the works. In the meantime, many HOAs have voluntarily started to get the Structural Engineering Reports and Reserve Studies completed because of the collapse in Florida. We do have a video on this as well. It is a good question to ask when considering purchasing a condo here in the Grand Strand.
Did they forget to budget in a pool? I've seen bigger pools walking through the neighborhood.

what property management company do a lot of owners use? Not just at bayview but in general who is best that you see a lot of people using with good reviews?

We have not come across a company that we have heard stellar reviews from everyone however here are some that our clients have found success with: Luxury Beach Rentals, Crashing Waves Rentals, BigFish Rentals (50/50 on customer service but have said they keep them booked). Also if you want to be more involved you could look at a company like Evolve. Finally, popping up more and more are co-hosts where you can manage it mostly on your own and they can be your eyes and ears on the ground here. So depending on your goals, there are many options.
Do the resorts offer in unit washer/dryer ?
Thank you for watching a video and for your question. Most one bedroom condos in the Grand Strand DO NOT offer a washer/dryer in the condo. A few here and there do however. Most 2+ bedroom condos DO have a washer/dryer in the condo. However, again there are a few that do not. Most of the time, if there is not a washer/dryer in the condo, the building offers a laundry room with washer/dryers pay per use.
What’re we looking at monthly payments wise
Thank you for your question. The answer is that it depends. HOA fee depends on what size condo you have. Also if you pay cash or take out a mortgage. If mortgage - of course the interest rate plays a major role (especially lately). Whether or not there are current special assessments, etc. When our clients look at a specific condo we gather all of the info based on that specific condo and their financing situation and provide estimates...but it is hard to generalize a typical payment if that makes sense.
