    Yep, the center bracket that attaches to the hitch with 2 bolts is turned backwards and in the wrong 2 holes. I almost did the same thing but caught it when it wasn’t to hard to correct. Thanks for the follow up. Willie

    Spot on .. iv had mine 4 years now. I have the air tiers came with. The wheel do bend. My biggest completes is the middle arm it doesn't stay in place. Falls out .

      Mine does the same, I've had to bungy it and bend it slightly to get it to work. I'm not taking everything apart to turn it over lol

    Have a walk behind that works well, but it’s a man beater. Bought the Agri Fab in the spring for my big properties. I tow it with my Toro Grandstand. It works good as long as there is good moisture in the soil and I add concrete blocks. I drilled and tapped the tine holders and added grease fittings to try to add some life. It was paid for the first day I used it. Keep one thing in mind Jon, the average customer won’t know the difference between ours and a 10-12k Stand-on… I do 50 aerations a year, too hard for me to justify buying a stand-on that gets used for a 2 weeks per year.

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Edward Kane I absolutely agree with you, I plan on getting a walk behind one eventually. Even though they do beat us up lol. I agree, I hate spending money on something that only gets used 1-2 times a year

    I wanted to get an tow behind aerator this season but kinda glad I didn’t. We had a dry fall so far and some of my yards are rock hard.

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Billy Goat yea you might have dodged a bullet with that this year then. This one needs moisture to work other wise you'll just stab the ground and in my opinion do more damage to it. They are nice to have though, just have to have the right conditions for sure

    This worked well for the first two years I had it. This equates to six uses on a 15,000 SF lawn. This year though I had a major problem with it. The welds broke on two if the plates that the knife tines attach to. The welds held the plates in place on the spindle sleeve which allowed each knife unit to spin securely in a vertical position. When the weld broke, the two assemblies could not roll freely and locked up leaving huge tears in the lawn surface. Upon inspection, I saw why: the welds only went half way round the spindle and were doomed from the start. Its just a matter if time before the rest break. I tied to convince AgriFab that this was a manufacturing defect, but they aren't buying it.

    Great video man! I have walk behind Ryan aerotors and I find that they don’t really beat me up lol. Want to get this for some larger properties, was thinking of maybe fab it to make it a front mounted or make that tow behind arm thing stronger.

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Little's Lawn Care I definitely recommend it for the larger properties. I know what you mean those walk behinds are a pain in the butt lol. Idk if this would be able to be made front mount or not but I definitely think strengthening the arm for sure

    I thought about buying one of these and modifying it for a category 0 or a category 1 3 point hitch. The 3 point models are outrageous in price, some are on the order of $1100 and up, way more than I want to spend on my 3 acre lawn.

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Roger justice I thought about that same thing as well. I believe the inly way to do that you will have to heavily modify this, as I'm not sure if that will hold up to that type of use but then again.....there's always a possibility

    Hey buddy. Good video. I’m curious did you already put out the video about your ex mark radius? I have one I was really curious as to your thoughts about that mower. I know you had mentioned before that you had some serious problems with it

    • @JonsDailyHustle
      @JonsDailyHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jim B hey man, no I haven't unaided it yet. I've got a few videos coming out before then. There's 2 other videos before my review of the radius and you'll get to hear my opinion on it then. After that video you'll see what problems I'm having with it. I wanted to make the review video first so my problems don't cause a bias opinion of the mower if that makes since

    Question: I using this same until but 2 years used.
    Mine isn't pulling plugs with soft soil. Instead, it is digging down and peeling the top turf.
    My first thought is the tines are dull but I don't know how to efficiently to that task as tedious as it is.
    Any insite?

    • @cmajoen
      @cmajoen ปีที่แล้ว

      They are auto sharpening so you shouldn’t need to do anything like that. I would just make sure they are clean and to look for that sweet spot when it’s not too wet or too dry in the lawn

      @Hazardra Outdoors same here, drops to 45 tonight 🥶, I missed my window for this season I believe as well but I'm OK with that lol. These plug aerators do work pretty nicely compared to the spikes but depending on how much moisture is in the ground....it might not be any better lol

    I had these same issues. On top of that, it only goes into the ground about 3/4-1 inch maximum. It is deceiving because the cores stack up and comes out about 2”-2 1/2” and personally, I want it to be between 3-5” inches deep so I am in the root zone. Overall, I’d personally give it a 3 out of 10. Also. I had to cut and weld my hitch and put a break drum from a semi on it for weight
