You say that as if Pam was a saint... 🙄 She emotionally cheated on Roy with Jim who knows how long and even though her relationship with Jim was extremely intimate, Roy trusted her.
Obviously, what he did was wrong but wipe this holier-than-thou bias out of your eyes because you're seeing a distorted image of Pam.

​@@BlackDiamond2718Yes, that scene is Pam's real breakthrough: she's sick of being a pushover. She wasted years of her life emotionally cheating on Roy because she wasn't brave enough to declare her love to Jim.
Pam herself says in the finale that she regretted that and the moment she faced herself was the charcoal scene.
