Come along for the first stop in our Goodwill Summer Series! This store is located near the outlet mall in Cypress, Texas. It's a favorite where we have found James Avery, gold, and diamond jewelry. We are greeted by gorgeous green glass, spanning many decades. Depression Glass, Sandwich Glass, and Anchor Hocking mixing bowls are ready for the taking. Learn a bit of history on these patterns and brands. Chinoiserie egg shell tea cups and a hand painted Ostrich egg are some of the unusual finds. James Avery Artisan Jewelry is hiding in the glass case. See the retired Sterling ornament and earrings that are hidden gems. Lots to discover in this tried and true Goodwill store. Always something wonderful to discover here!

Loved the walk through the Houston goodwill today, the jewelry was a great find. When you mentioned a hidden gem in the art that could be missed I found a picture that caught my attention last year called 'The Berry Pickers' I got it for $12.99 it's in a very large frame that needs a little touch up with some gold paint but never the less the paper was torn on the back so I took it off and the print turns out to be a lithograph from a New york gallery purchased in 1973. After some research it's value is $1,253.00 the original was painted by Jennie Brownscombe in the late 1800's, she painted quite a few colonial scenes in the Virginia area. I was pleased with my find in my small northern Mississippi town goodwill who knew. Sorry this was a long comment. Another welcomed visit with you. I have a black light at home. I always carry a jeweler’s loop. Might have to start packing a small flashlight with an ultraviolet light.

I used to have a winter house in Spring TX, and loved Still Goode Consignment & so I was thrilled to watch your episode from that wonderful store. As you have a business selling some of the items you find do you set aside time for both research and attending to business matters? You cover a wide swath of territory, information about the items you find, and then filming as well. Do you have one particular person who films for you?
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I work daily at building my brand. Travel these days is centered around filming. Had camera help early in the channel, but now I mostly film solo. Always learning and sharing this wonderful world of thrifting, tabletop, and more.

Happy Birthday, LMB! Those green octagonal glasses are not from Amazon. They’re vintage, made by the Independence Glass Company in Japan. They were made in many different colors.
