The Best Roasted Potatoes Recipe

Here's a simple and delicious recipe for roasted potatoes in the oven:
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes (such as Yukon Gold or Russet), washed and cut into bite-sized chunks
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or other herbs like thyme or oregano)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a large bowl, toss the potato chunks with olive oil until they are evenly coated.
Add minced garlic, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
Spread the seasoned potatoes out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the potatoes for about 30-35 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Flip them halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
Once the potatoes are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
