Fished borth and ynslas for years i spend months up there lol my secondvhome not a bit of that beach i havnt fished , rags are a top bait maddies for flats , and bluey
Good session, I caught my biggest thing ever from the sea from borth beach , getting on for 40 years ago , it must have weighed over 60 lb , ……. It was an old oak headboard from a double bed, I was about 12 , it dragged me down the beach when it got in the surf , nearly 💩 myself 😂😂😂,, 👍👍🤠
Nice little session mate.👍👏 Shame you didn't get yours on camera,🥺 hopefully next time. 🫣Well done Mark👏👏, I love his desire to return the fish as fast as his little legs will take him.🦵🦵 Is that a new Olympics sport? 100m waders sprint.😉😄 Nice informative video, 🧑🎓with beautiful scenery too.🌅 Thanks for sharing.👍👍 Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
Hi, love the videos, I am hoping to move to the Borth area from Scotland in yhe next couple of months. Want to get back into my sea fishing big time, as I come from Brighton originally. Can you tell me of any safe rock marks in the Borth area as I would love to catch a large smoothhound or tope. Thanks in anticipation, Mike.
Welcome to Wales Mike, it's a beautiful place. Regards to rock marks in Borth for tope I don't think there is any I could be wrong but never heard of anything. They get tope in Barmouth off the breakwater / peir. Im not sure what time of year tho. Or you could travel to north Wales on the rock marks they do come off there up by Bardsey end Thanks dave
Really enjoyable video with plenty of good tips about bait presentation. Also, scenery to die for, shame I live so far away! Does the beach fish well throughout the winter?
All year I think and definitely now. It's just down to conditions. You want a 10-15mph on shore blow really but I wouldn't say it's impossible to catch them of its calm it's worth a try

What times the best to fish of the rocks in borth
I have never fished off the rocks I'm guessing over low due to getting cut off but that is a pure guess
