Stunning piece of art Sandy, a masterclass of observation, patience and an uncanny ability to capture the textures and soul of the kitty and his surroundings. I can just imagine him stealthily and silently padding through the forest! I love the transitions between the cross hatching and stippling, so difficult to do this well. There is nowhere to hide in a pen and ink drawing, particularly on coloured paper, and every bit of this piece is purrrfect! ❤😘

Haha - that paper name defeats a lot of people, especially Americans who, I think, want to Spanishize it. But it's French, basically means "half-tint," and it's pronounced more or less "mee tent." Awesome picture! I'm so impressed with that hatching technique!

No, I can’t get a good photo of it😬 I don’t feel right selling it to someone who can’t assess whether the green paper is a color that will work in the place they want to hang it…so I’ll likely just take it to an art fair to find it a home.
How would you price a pen&ink piece if it takes so long to make?!
It’s hard. Someone reallllly has to love it if Im even to get paid minimum wage for it.
