So let's say after investigation, it wasn't an aircraft failure/malfunction that caused the plane crash in Sulu PH last Sunday since apparently this military aircraft is very capable of shortfield landing and takeoff. Then obviously human/pilot error but why?
From a cellphone video witnesses reported a speedy approach on final, flaps not Set. I guess the payload was maxed out for such a short 1845m runway. The decision to go around came probably too late to make it.
@@b.baggins8893 Even still that aircraft was designed for last second maneuverability for tactical advantage. It has a reverse propeller capability unlike other commercial or private airplanes. It has four propeller engines that could suddenly accelerate for a go around, if necessary. So more likely a human error with lack of training/experience for fast decision process. But what could possibly slow down the pilot's thinking for their landing approach in order to save both themselves and their comrades?
@BernZ Gamer There is a Windhose at any small airport to see. If the wind is the same direction as the airplane, its called tailwind. In Jolo this must be acceptedup to a certain strength, as a landing in reverse direction is not possible for the terrain. At lunchtime the wind goes often from the water to the land, since there is thermic only over the land. Let's see what the Blackbox will tell us later.

I was impressed by how quick it was able to stop, and its ability to go in reverse.
The aircraft is being on land for only for 105 seconds, doing a full stop, reverse and a takeoff. That is impressive.
Short field landing and take off. Nice view of big aircraft doing it along reverse movement of plane.
Yes it is a nice view
@@lachiesjt thanks to you.
Awesome 👍🇳🇿
It was a good performance. Unfortunate we can't see it again this year
Nice vid! Thanks for uploading!
My pleasure. Atleast some people like it. I should be able to get more footage this December provided the Kiwis are allowed to come to Australia.
Was this at wings over Wairarapa?
No, Avalon Airshow
Nice,👍👍👍
Reverse pitch propeller blades for short stop.
They must have recently renewed the rubber bands.
Nice
Thanks
shortfield landing, but not so short...field takeoff.
Assault style landing.
Short field landing...yes. Short field take off? ummm not.

Wind cyclone ang dahilan ng lahat...

@BernZ Gamer In conclusion more likely a pilot error, lack of experience they responded in panic.
