I tell people all the time, play straight pool(14.1 continuous) it will help shape playing 9,10,and 8 ball;even 1 pocket. Great game. My fav. Thanks for the upload
@@billysikes1374 hahaha epic but no. He did mention Bustamente being one of the greatest road players he ever met and also mention Efren Reyes as well! Check his on the rose adventures and pod cast!
Ralph Greenleaf.. I’ll tell you a story about Greenleaf that Mosconi used to tell, because he did exhibitions with Greenleaf for about a decade, for Brunswick.. Mosconi rarely beat him.. But when he did Greenleaf would blame it on being drunk.. To which Mosconi replied “ you were drunk every time you beat me, too.. lololol.. Mosconi was unbeatable, and he couldn’t beat Greenleaf.. Never won a world title until Greenleaf died..
All of you dummies are wrong, the #1" pool player in the history of pocket billiards is ** Alfredo de Oro** the grand daddy of pool**, he has 22" world titles in 3 cushion billiards & 22" world titles in 14.1 continuous, then came Ralph greenleaf with 14" world titles in 14.1 continuous, then Willie mosconi with 15" world titles in 14.1" continuous, Efren Reyes don't come close to their world titles, and that's only for tournament players as for road players there's always someone better, but the #1" road player was mickey carpinello, from porchester

Hope those who are saying that prime Efren will not be able to beat Fedor or Joshua Filler can watch this video. He played tough shots flawlessly and not even taking a lot of time to shoot them.
Efren in his prime would beat ANYBODY in the world & will go down in history as one of the greatest if NOT The Greatest pool player ever.... he will forever be known as the The KID (Bata)...
He was a chain smoker.😂. In that 1996 color of money challenge, he was constantly smoking. When the match got over, he ran out of cigarettes, and he borrowed a cigarette from a audience member.
Lol Incardona and Danny in booth saying that Efren never complains, never gets upset, Idk about any of ya'll, But I've never seen someone complain about stealing everywhere he goes lol
Efren knows something about the balls and rails, when the layout is very tough and there are so many balls to manouver the cueball Efren will beat them. Even the likes of SVB or Jayson Shaw will have a hard time beating Efren.
Why do I have a feeling that your title "1995 Maine Event 14.1...." was supposed to say "1995 Main Event 14.1...."? Was this filmed in the state of Maine? I doubt it.
Danny is showing so much aptitute for intelligence for broadcasting a pool match. Bill was a very good player and a nice guy..... but he ruins so many matches with is over alalyzing every shot.....

Efren could have been the best 14.1 player of all time, but he couldn't make enough money getting there. He's a professional cueist. When he couldn't get played rotation in the Phillipines any longer, he took up billiards. He didn't play any pool at all for about 9 yrs. He came back to pool when he saw a future in it in the U.S. He makes a living with a cue stick, no matter the game.
''Danny, we may be watching the greatest player of all time,'' that was 1995 and it came to pass, in 2023 we still watching the same clip.

Wiley comes across as a very nice guy. And he can really play well. Efren of course, the GOAT. Thanks for posting the video.
Efren Reyes will always be a Philippines pride ..❤❤😊😊
THE greatest pool player to ever chalk a pool cue...Efren "The Magician" Reyes🎱
If you ask CJ, he'll tell you who the greatest player is, he will say, CJ Wiley

Prime Efren would beat any of the top players today in a long race.
I believe Strickland said it something like this; There isn’t better players nowadays, but there’s a lot more Siegels around now.
Prime efren can beat anyone in the universe.
Efren said his prime was he was in his mid 20s he was 41 yrs old here
lol actually he beat filler at the dcc one pocket at almost 70 years old :D prime efren can compete with anybody

Such a beauty of a match thanks for posting!
Man he had the opportunity to play the goat! Efren is so lucky.
lol yeah , just ask him
Preacher Feeney , wow long time since I saw him.
Both times I saw Efren, he was at CJs poolroom Dallas, 90s. If he wasnt playing,he was sleeping in a chair or playing chess.
I remember, we practically lived at cj's

13:40 The 10 wasn't completely dead. Reyes had to use cut induced throw to get the 10 to miss the long rail.
AMAZING EFREN!😅😊❤
I like the commentatrs, they know all the gestures of Efren if he is in trouble or not..scratch his head, look up in the air and smile..
Efren wearing set of teeth. Full 🌝 smile.
Straight pool is too easy of a game for Efren.
Pinagpawisan si idol sa interview eh.. 😁
lol
Reyes is playing old-school 14-1.
Heck, CJ. ..... you were young back then.....LOL ..... (me too)
Annnd I still remember you beating me down in Florida..... no hard feelings
Which game is this? Not one pocket.
It is called 14.1 or straight pool.
Creative genius
What's the score?
Somebody tell the boy needing a hair-cut to help get the balls at end of a rack.😮😢
51:42 beautiful
Billy blows the interview.
Oh Look CJ still had Hair back then!! LOL
Never mind calling this a match. This qualifies more as an exhibition arranged into the event by Efren Reyes. 😃

Wiley's cue grip is bizarre. Amazing he plays so well with such a restrictive grip. Efren played.... Like Efren plays.... Incredible!
Looks like 5 inch pockets.
I bet you couldn’t get out a rack and leave a good break ball.
