I've got a 1985 kx250 and this is so cool to see one of my bikes in here.

Back then SX tracks were more technical than they are today, today's tracks are basically all the same with identical obstacles .

The BURNER totally ripped that second corner off the start. The works RMs were the best looking bikes ever.
Back in the day I was partial to Hondas because those guys were my heros but you cant deny the RMs looks.
Seeing those tracks back in the days, makes you wonder how those legends would do nowadays.
What great racing! They had true hero’s back then before computers and it’s because to see them ride you had to catch the race on tv or go see them ride. Now everyone in the world can be on the computer and it took away from the truly famous people. Not sure what happened but the announcer didn’t line up with what we were watching most of the race

When I was a kid watching these races I thought Huffman was the most awesome announcer,now he gets on my nerves
Lechien should have stayed with Honda.
Only Lechien, Bailey, o’Mara and RJ had non European styles back in the early days. Burnworth and Barnet looked like out of control goons. Amazed at how they hung on with those stiff styles
The worst announcer is moto history.

Lame. Slow, mushy suspension, no triples, no whips, whoops are a joke. In 2016 this would be considered goon riding.
But in 2016, they would have won the MXofN for another 8 years, and for the 5 years before.
I would say, we are not as good as we used to be.
Yep take the riders of today and have them ride these bikes. Or take these riders and put them on what we have today. These riders are very good to do what they did on these bikes.
