I'll bet Willie or his son Lukas would love to sing it with her. I saw Lucas open for BB King in Portland Oregon years ago - wow. He is an accomplished artist in every regard and if he wants to - he can sing his dad's songs just like his dad. Connie made this song hers now too. Willie is, I'm sure, honored.

When will Lucy Thomas publish hers - that would be interesting to have! Connie has the added advantage of playing the piano herself as well as moving the camera around - things that Lucy doesn't use in her own shoots. There are many who have a nice voice and who can sing flawlessly. But that certain color of voice which touches souls and the empathy and creativity to impose on the notes sung exactly the kind of emotions and that at exactly the right dose as intended by the songwriter by means of the lyrics and music is a truely god given talent.
Just when I'm captured by the beauty of her eyes and the emotions reflected in them, I then nearly at once become amazed by the richness and timbre of her voice that it's hard to believe that the song would end.

There are many who have a nice voice and who can sing flawlessly. But that certain color of voice which touches souls and the empathy and creativity to impose on the notes sung exactly the kind of emotions and that at exactly the right dose as intended by the songwriter by means of the lyrics and music is a truely god given talent.
