- This is a song I wrote at home a couple of days ago. I'm just singing to a rough btrack that I made :) This song is about regret and looking back and wishing you did things differently.

How is it possible that this girl is not an international megastar. Her talent is immense. She doesn't have to be outrageous, wear silly clothes, dance around like a fairy to get noticed. Pure Talent.

I agree with your sentiments Keith although I would suggest that she is an international star if not a mega one. She has nearly 2 million subscribers which makes her pretty famous in my book. I figure she was only 17 or 18 when she made this which suggests she has exceptional ability to be able to produce something this good at such a tender age. On top her remarkable ability she is also absolutely gorgeous and seemingly a really nice person as well.

I most obviously still couldn't feel nor hear any difference.
You're so humble always, yet you're darn good. This sounds to me as well "Ready for the Radio" -version, than "just a raw-copy" - with all these deep emotions of regret and robbed hope, selections that cannot be undone ... I'm in aww and awe again.
In your self-made songs you own the track already, before you sing. That's a triple-talent to have it all inside you. ❤💖❤

I had a bit of an emotional breakdown when my wife passed away from cancer. The lyrics of this song pretty much express the thoughts I was having at the time. Take from someone who knows, regret is an awful experience when it comes to those you love. Love the best you can while you have them. You never know how long that is going to be.
David Balderston I’m sorry you lost your wife. My wife is ill, she has suffered 3 strokes in the last year and a half. I am her sole caretaker & at times I’m just tired & aggravated & I know I take it out on her. I then feel like a shit...I think I need to be thankful I still have her with me, but we are all human. Thanks for your comment and thanks to Connie for a great song & great Performance. I will try & be nicer & remember that I don’t want to regret anything. 42 years and counting!

Sorry for your loss and thanks for reminding us. It’s not easy to deal with. I’ve talked to many that felt the same way. We do the best we can whilst trying to survive financially, physically and emotionally. The caregiver suffers also.
Have faith in God and you will see her again! guaranteed

So many people wishing you were signed to a record deal, but I'm glad you're not. I would much rather see you do your own recording your way, marketing your way, appearances your way, etc, than see you being chewed up and spit out by a record company. Just keep being the best Connie Talbot there is, and doing it your way, because it's a treat to listen to.
Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't. I for one would buy any record this young lady releases. I am also glad she wants to keep control of what she writes/sings. This may be what the problem is with being signed to a major. They are only interested in how much money they can make out of it. Writers and singers like Connie are up against a brick wall because they want to keep (rightly so) ALL control over their work, which reduces the Interest the major labels would have in her. A good agent is a great starting point, I hope she wins through and we see her music out there for all to buy. Oh, and the song is beautiful.

Connie is a Gift from God to everyone with hearing! I can’t understand why she isn’t selling out venues, on continuous tours, and selling out stadiums for that matter! So, after watching your Queen cover of Bohemium Rhapsody, it was great to find something that you did yourself, something that a lot of great cover artists/bands seem unable to do.This is a great song, and just having a simple backing track was perfect, really allowed the vocals to come through. I would buy this track just as it is.

Rarely listen to anything more than once on here - this is third time through. Really love this and hope that you will keep this rawness and purity when you record professionally. It's really special and so much stuff out there gets over produced.

I've been supporting you since 2012 and I saw you grow up as I was growing up too, I took you as my role model and I know now I couldn't pick someone better. Very few artists exude and show just how much they love music and how much music has been the very fiber of what they were meant to do in life. Connie is one of those few who can evoke so much emotion through her music and lyrics! I dare anyone to hear one of her cover or original songs and NOT feel anything. A "rough btrack" ? Seems more than good enough to me. An over produced backing risks masking out the crispness of your voice and beautiful delivery. Anyway great song, and heartfelt singing.

I was crying by the first words of this song Connie, because of the meaning of the lyrics and your beautiful voice as always.
This song let me think about my rough time with my anorexia and other mental illnesses now.
I let people down because I was/am too sick to keep in contact. I felt so related when you sang 'did I let you down?' because first I didn't even recognize I let my friends down when they say to me that I was so sick I let them go. And that's where my mind began to 'thinking bout the things that I have could have said/done.' But otherwise many friends of me let me down because they only need me when I'm happy enough for them. And when I was at my deepest point, just as you sang: 'I never thought it would end like this, I used to be so much stronger but now I'm bout to break.' And I broke, ended up in hospitals etc and I'm still broken and 'I am drowning' but I'm also trying my hardest to swim. I know 'I'll always have this pain 'cause I'm on my own' now but that doesn't keep me away from fighting for my life!
