The TTK in this game was perfect! If there were campers, it really wasn’t a problem thanks to the ability to run in the open while getting shot at but always had enough health to get to cover .. best game I played , longer gunfights over whoever reacts first gets the kill
The attachments are also bunk. Realistically, the attachments are designed so that there's really only one correct way to run any specific gun. They removed common attachment staples from certain guns but added specialized attachments that are practically mandatory to max the gun. When every gun has only one right way to play like BO4, it makes people end up sticking with only one gun. In BO3 I could find variety in my weapon choices because I could change the gun to fit my playstyle. You can't really do that in BO4 the way you could in BO3, or BO2 ftm. I would rather see a Pick 10 system but every gun has all the base attachments from BO3 but then we still get gunsmith attachments that add 2 bonuses or double a bonus but come with a drawback somewhat similar to what we have now except not have the objectively best attachments buried at the end of leveling like Cold War.
Exactly, the specialist weapons just killed the game for me. I’d rather be killed by a drop shot than gravity spikes that literaly require no skill. They are like the substitues for panick knifing when you are in tough situations The killstreaks in this game are trash compared to bocw . I love the vtol and ac 130 and choppper gunner in Black ops Cold War compared to the streaks in bo4. And bocw has a good campaign and ties the black ops story which black ops 4 completely negates

Non-disbanding lobbies, gun fights were great, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEEEE WHO YOU’RE SHOOTING AT (!!!), 3-lane maps made for consistent gameplay, lack of SBMM, I can go on and on. Not perfect, but better than CW

BO4 to MW2019 was like a 10yr step backwards. Camping came back in full force and even encouraged by devs. At this point, give me a thrust jumping cod! I’d rather be mad at a bunny hopper over a camper any day.
Could you imagine the possibilities if the grapple gun was a field item? (Same slot as something like trophy system) With the perk that let's you have 2 charges, you could double grapple, opening up huge changes to routing opportunities.
I started playing BO4 a few days ago, yes I know I'm late to the party. I can't sit through 2 full games of Cold War. Man I love BO4! Such a great game compared to MW and CW. Great guns, great movement, I enjoy unlocking attachments because every attachment has a purpose. I'll be playing it till the servers go boom.
Nice one man! I still play Bo4 and even WW2 (time to time). But BO4 suffered due to Blackout splitting resources but at least we got a good number of maps post launch unlike CW and MW. Save up your supply drops cuz ever 50, you can trade them in for specific guns. And best thing: the usual prestige system.

Bro I loved BO4. One of the small things that made that game amazing was how ghost worked. It only worked if you were moving, thus people had to rush. In these recent cods people can just camp with ghost and get rewarded.
i don't know about you guys on console, but SBMM was major stronk for bo4 on pc. Every game was vmp, daemon, or peacekeeper rushing with every player being master prestige in a game

Firebreak's Heat Wave was busted and his Purifier instakilled through flak jacket. Seraph's Annihilator could penetrate almost any surface. Nomad's Hive minds had 0 counterplay and instakilled. The Prophet's Tempest had no counterplay and instakilled.. Outride's vision pulse was hilariously broken
BO4 was my favorite create a class system. Loved the navigation between classes...very smooth. Oh yeah...and it was actually fun to play....what a concept!

And also hopefully it's the right Zero because you can have two of them, and also do this every two minutes. That's all there is to it. So much fun.
The Zombies, gameplay mechanics, and Operator Mods we're some of my favorite things about this game. The Zombies were fun and definitely replayable. DLC maps had their own uniqueness to them with the difficulty and strategy involved. Favorite map hands down are IX. Gameplay Mechanics were solid for a Treyarch game. No crazy far sliding and high jumping. Although wasn't completely smooth, it was structured and not broken. And finally, Operator Mods -- the one feature that shook the META. Some of my favorites were the Cross Bar on the Hades, increasing its hip-fire accuracy and can even be stacked with a laser sight to make it even better. Next would be the Skull Splitter mod for the Mozu. Definitely fun and satisfying in its own right. Made headshot challenges for it much easier. Don't get me wrong, this game had its annoyance and problems, but that doesn't compare to the game as a whole in enjoy-ability.
BOPS4 is my favorite CoD. Slower TTK makes the game require more track aim. Manual healing lets you fight back after getting flanked if you can get to cover. Nearly every gun had character to it due to the unique attachments. Sure I didn't like not having baseline lethal/tacticals.... but I can also understand the benefit that has. Firebreak was so much fun to roast campers through walls. Blackout was the first BR that actually felt like it was made by a high quality studio. I may be biased though as I had an 11KD until I started working on Dark matter. (Koshka was fucking terrible.... and then not even a week after I finished it they buffed it to get OSKs outside of headshots)

Infinite warfare was a massively underrated game aswell I had a lot of fun on that game out of the 3 advanced movement cods it had the smoothest movement, the best hit detection and it had the fairest system you could earn everything through salvage and most the guns was viable and you could play it casual aswell it just came out at the wrong time
scorestreak, uav/counter-uav. used paladin with fmj1/2 so i can destroy uav's/counter with one bullet to help my scorestreak. used crash for ammo stash and extra health bonus. multi uav per life if played well

i wouldn’t say really good but it improved greatly. i feel as if we had more 3 lane maps in the game, remove doors, sbmm, and how weird ghost was in the game it would’ve been REALLY solid.

At the time I wasn’t the biggest fan of bo4 but I still liked it. Now that modern warfare 2019 and Cold War is out I can appreciate is so much more and I realized how I actually like this game. It just reminds me of that classic CoD arcade feel
Bo4 maps were underrated as hell, Seaside, Arsenal, militia and contraband all really solid base maps, and then some of the DLC, elevation and lockup were also pretty solid maps
The only reason BO2 and MW2 arent thriving today is because of fucking modders and the fact that its last gen, everyone would be playing the fuck outta those games rn
Early bo4 was one of my favorite cod grinds, it kinda felt like the bo2 days. I loved 150 health bc gunfights actually depended on player skill. I never spent a dollar on lootboxes or any type of cosmetics since bo2 camos and i didnt find not having some guns immediately at all. Zombies was a huge miss for me especially after bo3 , but i think i can say that bo4 mp gameplay was my favorite overall. Now if we could get a CoD game with bo2/4 gameplay, mix of bo series ,,best of" type maps, no sbmm, non remaking lobbies, at least a few amazing zombies maps id actually return to CoD. Havent touched it since the first few weeks of mw cuz that game sucked balls besides gunfight

Modern warfare2019 for me is the best COD I've played since MW2 all those years ago. BO2 is what turned me away from the series for damn near a decade.
vids2002 I have to agree with @Manz, MW 2019 is the best I’ve played in a while. TLDR: Gunplay Gunplay is the main factor that won it for me. The attention to reload animations, shooting and the way the character handles the gun is by far the best I seen, that BO Cold War feels plastic. Keep in mind, I shoot guns at the range pretty often (not saying I’m amazing, I’m not) but it’s almost like I can feel the guns in the game like I would at the range. And it feels awesome.
Honestly I didn't start playing this game until like 4 months before MW and it was my first pc COD experience. I had a bit of a rough patch at first but after about a week, I realized it was everything I liked about BO3 but with everything toned down a bit (movement, specialist abilities, kill streaks, etc.) Personally I love this game. Fun maps, good lobbies, every gun felt usable to a degree, and there weren't any shitters playing by the time I picked it up.
Unfortunately there's also a big amount of the community who don't even know what SBMM is. They don't watch COD TH-cam and have no idea what's going on...

The absolute BEST feature to ever be introduced to cod came from bo4 in my opinion. To heal manually was my absolute favourite thinh in the world because it enables players to push like they never haf before! In my opinion the bo4 multiplayer is severely underrated. I grinded it harder than any other game in my life.
The only reason why ppl hated BO4 was about the supply drops & Season pass and black out wasn’t free. Overall the game was good, it had better maps than MW & CW

BO4 was my favorite create a class system. Loved the navigation between classes...very smooth. Oh yeah...and it was actually fun to play....what a concept!

That thing can basically shred through long distances although its an smg which makes it an even more annoying broken weapon. 90% of everyone in the game uses the vmp, thats why I got tired of this game because the vmp meta never died and I got tired of that.
I've appreciated bops4 since launch man. Shit felt great. Also is it me or does 4 look better than cold war? Lol also loved that the healing being a manual thing was built in.

@@jdub7986 Just find and kill hero hiding on the other side of the map that has a respawning team between you and them and also avoid fire from your own killstreaks she hacked. And also hopefully it's the right Zero because you can have two of them, and also do this every two minutes. That's all there is to it. So much fun.
The Zombies, gameplay mechanics, and Operator Mods we're some of my favorite things about this game.
The Zombies were fun and definitely replayable. DLC maps had their own uniqueness to them with the difficulty and strategy involved. Favorite map hands down are IX.
Gameplay Mechanics were solid for a Treyarch game. No crazy far sliding and high jumping. Although wasn't completely smooth, it was structured and not broken.
And finally, Operator Mods -- the one feature that shook the META. Some of my favorites were the Cross Bar on the Hades, increasing its hip-fire accuracy and can even be stacked with a laser sight to make it even better. Next would be the Skull Splitter mod for the Mozu. Definitely fun and satisfying in its own right. Made headshot challenges for it much easier.
Don't get me wrong, this game had its annoyance and problems, but that doesn't compare to the game as a whole in enjoy-ability.
I liked the movement in black ops 4. it felt nice and fluid while being a little grounded
I wouldn't mind commentary over ANY Cod tbh. Especially MW 2019 😂

BOPS4 is my favorite CoD. Slower TTK makes the game require more track aim. Manual healing lets you fight back after getting flanked if you can get to cover. Nearly every gun had character to it due to the unique attachments. Sure I didn't like not having baseline lethal/tacticals.... but I can also understand the benefit that has. Firebreak was so much fun to roast campers through walls.
Blackout was the first BR that actually felt like it was made by a high quality studio.
I may be biased though as I had an 11KD until I started working on Dark matter. (Koshka was fucking terrible.... and then not even a week after I finished it they buffed it to get OSKs outside of headshots)

Infinite warfare was a massively underrated game aswell I had a lot of fun on that game out of the 3 advanced movement cods it had the smoothest movement, the best hit detection and it had the fairest system you could earn everything through salvage and most the guns was viable and you could play it casual aswell it just came out at the wrong time

MW2019 got really good when shoot house, shipment and rust came along. Shoot house was a blast to sweat on.
i wouldn’t say really good but it improved greatly. i feel as if we had more 3 lane maps in the game, remove doors, sbmm, and how weird ghost was in the game it would’ve been REALLY solid.
@@kysacid for sure. I think the most solid part of MW2019 is the weapon design. Sound, models and animations. It’s what kept me playing to be honest.

Bo4 maps were underrated as hell, Seaside, Arsenal, militia and contraband all really solid base maps, and then some of the DLC, elevation and lockup were also pretty solid maps

Early bo4 was one of my favorite cod grinds, it kinda felt like the bo2 days. I loved 150 health bc gunfights actually depended on player skill. I never spent a dollar on lootboxes or any type of cosmetics since bo2 camos and i didnt find not having some guns immediately at all. Zombies was a huge miss for me especially after bo3 , but i think i can say that bo4 mp gameplay was my favorite overall. Now if we could get a CoD game with bo2/4 gameplay, mix of bo series ,,best of" type maps, no sbmm, non remaking lobbies, at least a few amazing zombies maps id actually return to CoD. Havent touched it since the first few weeks of mw cuz that game sucked balls besides gunfight
Dude everything you talk about is exactly how i feel. From the maps, sbmm, mw colour palette/realism. One of the reasons i quit mw was because of the colour palette and realism which affected core gameplay.

I actually really loved bo4 multiplayer and also really enjoyed ww2 multiplayer too, especially compared to MW and CW.
I feel like Modern Warfare was the extreme over-correction of the "COD's the same thing ever year" complains, lol.
Modern warfare2019 for me is the best COD I've played since MW2 all those years ago. BO2 is what turned me away from the series for damn near a decade.

vids2002 I have to agree with @Manz, MW 2019 is the best I’ve played in a while. TLDR: Gunplay
Gunplay is the main factor that won it for me. The attention to reload animations, shooting and the way the character handles the gun is by far the best I seen, that BO Cold War feels plastic.
Keep in mind, I shoot guns at the range pretty often (not saying I’m amazing, I’m not) but it’s almost like I can feel the guns in the game like I would at the range. And it feels awesome.
I miss good maps that weren't remakes of what we've been playing for 5 years

Honestly I didn't start playing this game until like 4 months before MW and it was my first pc COD experience. I had a bit of a rough patch at first but after about a week, I realized it was everything I liked about BO3 but with everything toned down a bit (movement, specialist abilities, kill streaks, etc.) Personally I love this game. Fun maps, good lobbies, every gun felt usable to a degree, and there weren't any shitters playing by the time I picked it up.
3.92 kdr in BO4 and countless hours. I press sprint and never stop running in this game, love it. I haven't touched CW.

The absolute BEST feature to ever be introduced to cod came from bo4 in my opinion. To heal manually was my absolute favourite thinh in the world because it enables players to push like they never haf before! In my opinion the bo4 multiplayer is severely underrated. I grinded it harder than any other game in my life.
The only reason why ppl hated BO4 was about the supply drops & Season pass and black out wasn’t free. Overall the game was good, it had better maps than MW & CW
