I actually have never heard this song before, but I was trying to find the perfect song in regards to my grandmother and grandfather’s hundredth birthdays and the family they created with six sons five daughter-in-laws, 1 son-in-law, 15 grandchildren, 10 in law, grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren! We are truly a blessed family, and this song is perfect to play a photo montage of my grandparents when they were younger, and my dad and his brothers when they were younger too, the brothers getting married and then flashing photos of the grandchildren when they were babies and finally ending it withthe grandchildren getting married and having their own babies to finish it off with one huge family picture of all of us! I love this song. I’ve been playing it on repeat❤
Man. I was here just thinking about when this song came out. I was 20 years old. And thought I had it all. OH boy was I wrong. 41 now. Time flies. Love this song so much .
Two decades poof..........into thin air. Where's Marty McFly and Doc when you need them, I need to go back to 1985 I was 17......... 57 now...... Four decades poof........ Peace........

This is so true. Can't believe I'm almost 55. Just yesterday I was a teenager playing football and didn't have a care in the world. Now been married for 32 years with 4 kids and 7 grandkids. Time really does fly by!
So true ! I remember when I was 19, and my mother told me, my cousin was turning 25, and I thought that was so old. It seemed like it was just a couple years ago when I said that. I don’t know where the time went but now I am 70. To me, it seems like years goes by like months . You want to slow down time but you can’t.
@@retiredFAAatc I'm 50. We may act like we don't get it sometimes, but believe in an alone space. We are already thinking about how time goes so fast...even in our youth
You would be surprised some get it but don't wanna acknowledge it. After being through so much including losing my best friends my buddies I served with I recklessly enjoy life. I budget but when I got extra I go have. Took my first cruise planning a trip to Asia soon. U bury 7 guys that in your age group or younger you realize life can end any day any time enjoy it when you can
Lost my 98 year old grandfather about a week and a half ago. His decline came quickly, and he was taken before I knew it. Thankfully, about a month prior to his passing, we had the chance to talk for about two hours. He echoed the message of this video during our visit. He’d seen so many changes in this world. He was a proud WW2 veteran, and Purple Heart recipient. He was the strongest, most humble man I ever knew. A father of five, who worked two and three jobs when it was necessary. He finally retired for good at 83. But, what I respect most about my granddad was his relationship with Jesus. I know he’s in the presence of God, and seeing the face of Christ as I type this. The best man I ever knew, my hero, and my greatest example of a man: Wayne K. Yoder Feb. 8, 1926 - August 19, 2024 I miss you terribly, Grandpa, and I know I’ll see you again ❤
Being 79 now, I can attest to this. My oldest is now 58. I have a great grandson. I can’t wait to see what else God has for me. So don’t blink! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My dad always wanted a log cabin, so when my mom died at 78, he was 88, he built one, and sold their first home us 4 kids were born in. I told him, you're too old... well, he did, and drove till he was 99, and lived to 102. What a life he had, seen it all. His name- Frank Andrew, Naugatuck, Ct
My Son sent me this song last night, we never get to see him due to family drama so I'm so blessed that he finally gets it, he'48 year old and with many health issues with both myself and my husband, this song says it all. Please pray for our family so we can be together again before we blink. Thank you Son, Mom & Dad have ALWAYS LOVED you ❤
I have been married now for 41 years together for 45.. My dad always said ‘don’t blink’ when you get old it goes by very fast… I would say no daddy it goes by slow for me but I was young. I NOW see what my daddy was telling me is so TRUE. DONT BLINK.😢
Just getting out of your 20s and this starts getting onto perspective more and more. Friends go their own ways, you don't hear from people you thought you would talk to forever, and friends pass away. Life changes, and it happens quicker than you would ever even be able to imagine. The advice in this song could not be any more true. DON'T BLINK. Enjoy every last moment with friends, young love, and family. Because there's no way to tell you were in the good ole days until you've already left them. 😢
I love this song! I am almost 76 years old, and this song really strums my heart strings. I lost my favorite grandpa in 1972, the second grandpa in 1974, my grandma in 1993. My mother-in-law died suddenly in 1989, my father-in-law in 1992. Then, in 1998 I lost my mom at the relatively young age of 71, my dad followed less than four short months later. I thought the losses couldn't get any worse, but then I lost the absolute love of my life, my husband of almost 41 years in 2004 at the ripe old age of 63. Then my two brothers, one at age 59 in 2013, the other in 2017. There have been other family that I loved dearly, too many to mention. Treasure each day as if it were your last, love your family and keep them close in your heart, tell them you love them. Whether your loved one passes away from a lengthy terminal illness or suddenly, you're never ready to lose them, to let them go. Truth is, we have absolutely no choice. But I know I will see my loved ones in Heaven. A friend of mine told me, when she had lost her mother, that we don't cry really for them, we cry for ourselves because we're going to miss the loved ones so much -- truer words were never spoken! I tell my son every day, multiple times each day, that I love him. Treasure the memories, for time is so fleeting. Most of all, cling to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom faith will carry you through anything.

Wow, just read your comments. I'm so sorry for your many losses. 😞 Praying for you. I love this song and also one by Trace Atkins called Your Going to miss this. Really makes you think about your life and the choices you make.
Am I the only one who cries EVERY time you hear this song?! I'm 37 with three daughters, one about to graduate high school and I've been with my husband for almost 18 years.... It really pulls on my heart strings. Makes you think. Life really has gone by so fast already. It's sad.
I freaking cry every gosh dang time this stinking song comes on the radio or if I play it on my TH-cam videos because I am 28soon going to be 29 and have a goddaughter who I just adore
No way! I've been crying for years to this song. It always made me think of my grandmother who lived to be 101. She was still well put together to her last day. She was a great storyteller as well as a prolific genealogist. I miss her now going on 6 years. When I need a good cry I'll listen to this song.
“When your hour glass runs out of sand, you can’t flip it over and start again.” Wow. My great grandmother turned 101 at the beginning of the year and she kept telling me how 101 isn’t that long. This song really reinforces those words of wisdom.
my Dad used to always play this song when I was 6. I remember waking up from a nap and hearing the muted distant music coming from the back deck. It was this song. I went out to the back deck and opened my door to the most beautiful orange and pink sunset I’ve ever seen. I’m 21 now and every time I hear this song it takes me back to that memory. Crazy how much these lyrics resonate with me now. Shouldn’t have blinked…
Those of you who still have Mothers, I hope you appreciate what you got. I was barely grown at 25 when I lost mine. It's been almost 25 years since I've been hugged by her. Go tell yours that you love her....in person. Mean it. Understand what you have.
I have a beautiful wife and 3 kids. We got married fairly young, I remember saying this "I love my child but I wish they could hold this bottle by them self", or "I wish they could walk so I didn't have to carry them everywhere" or "I wish they could watch themselves so I didn't have to have a sitter" or "I wish they could drive so I didn't have to take them to ......" but now... its "I wish time would slow down!" I lost my mother a few months ago and that was a blow, my youngest is graduating high school. I look back and say "God can you make them little again so I can carry them and hold that bottle for them". Young married people take this message to heart, take each day and hold it as if it were your last. Love people and forgive simple as that. That way you have no regrets as you get older.
Tom Green My boys are 16 and almost 18 and I feel the exact same way. Oh, what I would give for one more cuddle or to hold that bottle, or carry that carseat, etc. I know how you feel. We blinked.
Tom Green I married my wife at 15,she was 17,we had our first boy when I was 20! Four more followed after that. Now my youngest is 7,fixin to be 8 and I'm an old 54 but I wouldn't trade one minute I've had with any of them!!! Hopefully God's gonna see fit to let me see more of them yet! Slow down and Love you wife and kids, the minutes fly by so fast and before you realize it they're all gone! Now those Grandbabys are sumtin else. Thank God for little blessings!!
my husband loved this song. Sadly, he passed two years ago. Don't Blink, make the most of every moment...life goes so fast! Love and miss you, Robbie!!
Only true fan of Kenny will say hi back! Haha 😂 pardon my manners, just really do enjoy Kenny music especially this one! By the way how are you doing?? Sorry about your husband.
Lost my beautiful wife of 36 years, met her right out of high school, boy she was a looker, my betterhalf. Cancer took my Pammy, life is a journey, and what a beautiful ride it was. Got two beautiful kids. Looking back all I can say is; life goes by faster than you think. Live like there's no tomorrow. Smell the roses, enjoy life and I always tell those dear to me I love them. Love y'all...even them haters need some love in their miserable lives..
I understand everything about life it's wonderful and life is too short to be mad about anything I've had cancer 2 in my life and had Brain surgery I just take it day by day and have the Lord Jesus amen in my life I know Lord Jesus keeps me going amen
I watched this when it uploaded and I was 18. I am now 32 and this song hits different. I have done my best to be conscious of the passage of time and to appreciate every day. But even with this mindset, time flies!
My Trixie lived 21 yrs and I miss her so much. I never got another Fur baby for fear it'll outlive me and then what becomes of him/her. Sorry for your loss .
The older you get, the faster it goes. My parents would be 60 yrs. If they were here, they are in Heaven now celebrating. When God wants you, he'll take you. Hallelujah Father.
This song is so true. I was a 18 year old kid in the Navy yesterday. Today I’m a 51 year old Papaw. I have realized I have lived long than the years I have left.
GARLAND!!! WHAT IF I SAID YOU DIDNT HAVE TO DIE???? SAY I COULD EXTEND THEM SAY 500 OR A 1000 YEARS!! WOULD THAT CHANGE THE WAY YOU FEEL??? JUST WONDERING! I AM JESUS CHRIST WATCHING OVER PEOPLE! THINGS ARE GOING TO START CHANGING!! ARE YOU READY GARLAND??? REMEMBER I TOLD YOU WHO I WAS AND THAT THINGS ARE GOING TO START CHANGING!! GOD LOVES YOU!
We blinked, and now the video is 14 years old. It came out when I was in high school, and another blink later, I'm a family man watching my firstborn daughter go to school. Life is indeed too short; we need to embrace and treasure every moment whenever possible. We live to make memories, so let's make the best of them
Today I woke up thinking it’s gonna be a good thanksgiving then found out my uncle past away this morning life is short to fight with your love ones and the ones who are close to you so call your parents and uncles and siblings and tell them you love them because you don’t know when it’s there time to go 😞
To be honest, country was never my favorite. My mom LOVED kenny Chesney. Kenny was her favorite, especially Dont Blink. Every since she passed in 2013 I have listened to this song every day. It's become my new favorite. Love you mom, life is too short.
I blinked a few times and 72 years was past and gone. Had kids, had grandkids, and then had great grandkids. I can say from experience, this song is spot on. Time goes by so fast, you can miss your entire life if you're not careful.
I agree 100%. When some think of the good ole' days, they're thinking of times past. Reminiscing is ok and sometimes beneficial. But we can't go back and relive them. The future is not yet. Good to plan for it, but all we really have is now. @@ChristinaHoibraten-lh7jc
I lost my wife of just 15 years almost a month ago. We met when she was 37. I remembered that sexy woman walked off the bus to see me for the first time. We met online . Fast forward to just May 17th of this year she died from cancer as I held her hand. 15 years is short enough. It all went so fast it's almost like a dream now😢
I’m sorry😢. My cousin recently lost her husband shy of over 25 years. I’ve been by her side & the pain is so deep. I’ve never had a love like that & never will at my age. I just wish I could bring him back for her
I heard this at my dental cleaning the other day and had to actively work on not tearing up. The older I get, the more songs like this make me emotional.
@@giggiddy heard this song at my job a week after turning 18. met this beautiful girl and this song was for her. lost her and lost my job within a week i thought the world was gonna end and now we listen to this song with
@@giggiddy longstory short. jus turned 18 got my first job met the stunning chick from texas that come to visit. everything was perfect since we hungout. thought she wanted a relationship so told her we didn’t have to fuck till it was official because we would be in the backseat already. argued n went to the fair to make up for it. cuts me off the next day for no reason. was devasted for months. well turns out she had a boyfriend n wanted a quick fuck while she’s out here. i’m doing good now finally stopped caring focused on myself got a better paying job. thought i would never get over because she was out of my league but yeah now i can listen to this song remember the good memories n say that was fun k guess
@@fuegokicks_2095 gotcha. And hopefully you raise the bar now with who you perceive to be out of your league. Clearly she wasn't. Keep that in mind the next time you are knocked out by a hot looking shot of azz. Cheers and be well.
This song is somewhat of a tearjerker. A good cry. I’m 63 now and live by myself, close to mom. My kids and granddaughter live 2 hours away. I miss them. My dad lives 8 hours away. Both parents are in good health. I’m blessed!!
Enjoy life to the fullest. Tomorrow ain't promise. I have loss my Father, Mother and now my Brother (2/14/2019). Now I am all alone. My sisters and brothers in Christ, Don't Blink.
When my middle son got married (2007) he had us dancing to this song. I just cried the entire time. Today is my oldest son's 39th birthday and I just can't believe just how fast the years have gone by. I have always told my three son's that once you reach 21 the years just fly by! Now my Grandson is 16 and it has all started again. Thanks Kenny for such a beautiful song. It's still a favorite of mine....
+Snipe Stud00 I thought my life was going to end up that way, was with my high school sweetheart for 5 years and engaged to be married but she turned 21 and wanted to party and ended up cheating so we broke it off completely and tried again later but 2-3 weeks after that we ended up breaking it off again, it's too bad because we have a beautiful baby girl together who'll be 5 in July. She has since married, had a son, and divorced by another man, her son absolutely loves me and when I go to pick him up sissy just smiles away, I think it reminds her of being a family again even though she was little when mama and I were together, toddlers can still remember. I still remember her big smile every time I'd come home from work (tearing up now), and I don't get to see that anymore as she is 3.5-5 hours away depending on Chicago traffic (she lives in Michigan)! And I've now been single for 3 years now and doesn't look like that's going to change any time soon unfortunately. So sad!
A lot of truth in the song. I can relate. Here I am 77, when I hear this song I can't believe I'm this old already. I told myself when I turned 35 I was going to stay right there. and even now I still feel 35, but the old body says "Let's talk this over". When I go to bed at night I look at my wife of 54 years and I pray that God takes me instead when the time comes. I sing that every once in awhile at Karaoke and it means more to me than just a song.
Always wanted to get older fast, became a dad, had a kid, she's grown and almost out of the house, I wish I could do it over again, man what sweet memories I have doing all that.
This song never fails to put things into perspective and I just can’t help shedding a tear or two…life goes by so fast. I’m 62, but my heart still feels like 32…so I have to try not to blink and waste those precious moments … Thanks for such a beautiful reminder of what’s important.
I remember this song from part of my childhood. I think more people need to hear this message: life is precious, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses every once in a while.
I played this at my wedding and danced with my mom. Now fourteen years later she is 80 and I’m 38. Time flies. She is also a cancer survivor of 2 years. Mom I love you and love Everyday we get with you. Love your son.
You are a sweet heart! Your mom raised a beautiful son. My son got married last weekend. Sitting here on the porch watching the rain, listening to this song at 62. Thinking about life and how fast it goes and of him and his beautiful wife and bride. We need these reminders! God bless you and Kenny Chesney!
YOU'RE A DAMN GREAT YOUNG MAN MY TRUE AMERICAN 👍 ❤️ BROTHER!! YOU LOOK AFTER MOMMA! SHE'LL BE THE ONLY ONE YOU'LL HAVE! TAKE CARE OF HER! 😉😇✌️❤️🗽🇺🇸🙏🤟🤘🤙✌️
My sister passed away on January 22nd 2021 at the young age of 37 unexpectedly she left behind 3 young kids. Enjoy life while you can every precious moment because you never know when it’s gonna end.
There aren’t many songs that make me cry, and as an woman of African descent, this really touch my heart, Jaheim Fabulous, is another song I can’t sing, without tears
my uncle just sent me this always check on your family family is the best thing you can have havent heard this song in awhile my mom loved this song made me cry all love to everyone be happy for what you have❤
This song brings me to tears all over again. This song was new at the same time my wife was dying of cancer. I miss you Tammy Hughes and I will always love you. I cry for you everyday and hope you are the first one I see on the other side.
My God Adrian Hughes, I feel your pain. God Bless You. My husband of 26 years dropped dead at my feet of a massive heart attack, he just melted in front of me, Curtis reached up and tried to speak, then melted in front of me. I ran and grabbed the defibulator, not knowing he had hidden the battery as he didn't want to be resuscitated. I found the battery two weeks later, at first I was so mad, then I realized he didn't want to be a burden on me. He had suffered a massive 12 years prior and I had taken care of him every since. I would have stood guard over my lover for ever. I am so lost with out my lover. Lost at sea................forever............living with the images is killing me
Man this song hits me. I am 22 and about to start college, obviously not fresh out of high school, it feels like only yesterday I was six and saying 'i can't wait till I am 18 and can stop school and make my own rules.' Songs like this really make me reflect and man I wish I could flip that hour glass and start back over and appreciate the good times.
Same. I moved out when I turned 18. Got a place with the love of my life and have worked some pretty crappy jobs while I’m waiting to go to college in the fall. And I sure do miss the days of not having to pay for a single thing and didn’t have to worry about insurance and bills. But tbh these are the greatest days of my life
It goes fast buddy u will be 30 before u know it . Good thing u realize how fast life goes while you are young .. just some friendly advice slow down and live and cheerish those you love !!!
Drug addiction separated my parents and sisters from me indefinitely. They buried me. I was dead. I really hope some day they can see I brought myself out of it.
Hello 👋🤗, a great comment you dropped on here, I love Kenny and been a fan for long! How long have you been a fan of Kenny??☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
I just turned 59. Last year of my 50's. It really did go by like a blink. My girls are 36 and 34, I've got 2 sweet grandsons. My mind still feels like I'm in my 30's but my body puts that in check pretty fast lol. Do those things you've always wanted to do. You're not getting any younger. I always wanted to learn to fly a plane. I've taken my first lesson. I'll go scuba diving someday in the next couple of years in Iceland, where the two continents meet. My mom has been gone for 19 years tonight, and she didn't get to do a lot of the things on her list, time is a thief. Just do the things.
Man this song hits so hard considering how fast life goes by when you look back in retrospect. I think when going through a struggle, it might seem like life is slow. But, when it's all said and done, it'll be over. Live your best life and be kind to your neighbor folks!
Want to say thank you for me and my brother he loved this song 🎵 he passed away yesterday please keep me in your prayers we appreciated all your beautiful songs blessings, Kenny I wish you best ❤💔🙏🙏
My 20's were wild but fun. Made plenty of mistakes in life's journey but the most positive and rewarding thing was raising my son. He's 22 now and Im reliving my 20's through him in certain ways. I blinked.
I'm right there with you buddy. I wish I wouldn't have blinked. I was so ignorant and thought things were always going to be the way they were. Then I woke up and I was 30. Friends were gone. Life had changed. Quickly.
jordan rice, enjoy your youth while it's here as I'll be 50 years old this year and find it hard to believe I've been around going on half a century. 18 years old seemed like only yesterday and it passed by in the blink of an eye.
Working in an er. Sometimes it’s bitter/ sweet.- it’s when I see someone make it . Makes me glad I do what I do. ❤ thanks Chesney . You are simply amazing
This song is so true. I remember being 8...10...12....16...20.... where did they all go? Now I'm almost 40. Jesus. Even 30 seems like light years back.
My bride just hit the big six oh. Remember the day I met her back in 1982 like it was yesterday. We'll be celebrating our 33rd anniversary the end of this month(March). Three children and eight grandchildren later, plus all kinds of trials and tribulations, we're still hanging in there. For any of you younger folks reading, respect and love your parents. They won't be around forever. Great song and good advice.
This is beautiful 💓 hopefully you added another year to your marriage & your children and grandbabies look up to y'all & cherish every moment had of this beautiful life 😍 I call my parents every day ... And I bring my little girl to see them once a week (we live 2 hours away) because I know how precious that relationship is and means and how much I love my parents ... Whom also just celebrated 27 years of marriage 💓 god bless and a toast to many more years together 💞🙌💏💞
Robert Sunderland I'm scared to lose my parents, I don't know what I'm going to do when they are gone I need them. I don't know how I'm gonna live when their gone, they have always been there for me and have never given up on me even when I have given up on myself, I love them with all my heart and I know one day they will be gone and there is nothing I can do about it, but the fact that I know that there going to leave me forever is more then I'm able to handle. Even now as I'm typing this I'm crying.
This was my class song of 2008. almost 10 years ago. I married my highschool sweetheart and we have two beautiful children that are growing up so fast. truly don't blink.
This was my daughter's graduation song for her class of 2018. I'd never heard this song before that. Such a moving and true song. Totally agree; "Don't Blink,". Keep on having the best life that you can possibly have, and hug and kiss your kiddos every chance you get.
As young people we thought life was going to last a long time. Now 61yrs. the words to this song is so true. Don't miss out on anything absorb it all. Take NOTHING for granted.
so true only 20 and i totally agree feels like just yesterday i turned 18 and it feels like just last week i was laying in my bed in my grandmothers house in trouble for misbehaving and wishing i was grown i wish now that i had never made that wish made the best of being child
I remember listening to this at 29 after my father passed. My little sister passed at 29 3 years later. Now my mother lives with me. Enjoy family while you have them. Just about everyone is gone now. Just buried my last grandparent in February. Mid 30's and just about my entire family is gone. Life really does go by fast.
I feel your every word. I lost my husband my kids my dad and then buried my sister last week. She was 32. I'm 36 I've got my brother and my mom that's it. No grandparents. Walk out the door as if it's your last time. This here today gone tomorrow world we live in. I watched my sister pass away in a tragic accident. She come to help me when I ran out of gas it happened on Sunday morning 11/13/22 and she was putting gas in my car and a reckless driver hit and killed her. You just never know when your time is up.
I understand this song . I'm a grandma of 6. Time just flies. I think and remember when my 3 daughters were little. Now I'm watching my Grands grow up before my eyes. I'm grateful for my memories.
As a senior who graduated 2022 and now in the work force, times already flying by a hell of a lot faster than I wish. Some days I just wanna go back and relive all of it just one more time.
I turn 22 in 6 days, and my man this can’t be anymore true. We live as kids wanting to become Adults and spend our adulthood willing to give anything to go back. May God Guide you my brother🙌🏻🤍
You all have no idea! The older you get the faster it goes. I wish I could get my daughter to realize this. She graduates this year. She wants to be an adult and do it all RIGHT NOW!
I usually don't comment on videos 😂 but my father in law and I use to sing and dance to this song all the time together. Unfortunately he passed away on February 19, 2020. This is my first time listening to this song since he passed and I half expect him to come in the kitchen dancing 😂 that's how we were. I'm so sorry I couldn't do more for him. We all love you pops rest in peace ❤️❤️❤️
As a kid, you always thought that time passed slowly, but as you age time starts to go by faster and faster. From 3-14 takes 25 years to pass, 15-26 takes 8, 27-40 takes 4, and 40-death takes just seconds. You can't change time, you just have to fill what time you can with great memories.
This was one of my grandpa's favorite songs before he passed... he always said the lyrics hold so true and I will always love this song because of him.
My children are now 19, 16 & 13 and man this song so hits home. I’d give anything to do it all again and spend more time with them instead of chasing the money. #DONTBLINK!

The best man I ever knew, my hero, and my greatest example of a man:

I have been married now for 41 years together for 45.. My dad always said ‘don’t blink’ when you get old it goes by very fast… I would say no daddy it goes by slow for me but I was young. I NOW see what my daddy was telling me is so TRUE. DONT BLINK.😢

Just getting out of your 20s and this starts getting onto perspective more and more. Friends go their own ways, you don't hear from people you thought you would talk to forever, and friends pass away. Life changes, and it happens quicker than you would ever even be able to imagine.

I found the battery two weeks later, at first I was so mad, then I realized he didn't want to be a burden on me. He had suffered a massive 12 years prior and I had taken care of him every since. I would have stood guard over my lover for ever. I am so lost with out my lover. Lost at sea................forever............living with the images is killing me
Baby......Curtis was a lucky man.
Adrian Hughes love like you have is so hard to find he sure was a lucky man time helps but never heals your heart
Rip bro
Man this song hits me. I am 22 and about to start college, obviously not fresh out of high school, it feels like only yesterday I was six and saying 'i can't wait till I am 18 and can stop school and make my own rules.' Songs like this really make me reflect and man I wish I could flip that hour glass and start back over and appreciate the good times.
Vikes167 yup😭
Vikes167 im a senior i miss the easy days of middle schook
Same. I moved out when I turned 18. Got a place with the love of my life and have worked some pretty crappy jobs while I’m waiting to go to college in the fall. And I sure do miss the days of not having to pay for a single thing and didn’t have to worry about insurance and bills. But tbh these are the greatest days of my life
As someone who is in college currently, good luck, you are forced sometimes to move faster than you want to.
Well, my mom is fighting for life at the hospital now, this song is so true. Mom i love and pray u get through it
Hope your mom is better 🙏🏻
Best wishes for your Mom. I hope she pulls through. ❤️
Plz keep your heads up. God bless you and your family 👪 🙏 ❤️ ♥️

Hello 👋🤗, a great comment you dropped on here, I love Kenny and been a fan for long! How long have you been a fan of Kenny??☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
This makes me rethink my priorities in life.
I know exactly how you feel brother. I was just standing here contemplating the exact same thing.
For real.
You are very right . Think about life
You and me both brother
Me too!! It makes me realize how much time I wasted.....
I'll be 62 this October, parents gone, grand parents gone uncles, aunts, numerous friends all gone.Cherish those you have left and try not to blink.
AMEN. THEY ARE A BETTER PLACE. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🙏 😢
Just do the things.
as someone that grew up with this song, i only hope this next generation does the same
Man this song hits so hard considering how fast life goes by when you look back in retrospect. I think when going through a struggle, it might seem like life is slow. But, when it's all said and done, it'll be over. Live your best life and be kind to your neighbor folks!
I agree . I was so happy, independent
On the go ..
My world falls apart..
Amen to that, lets try to be better people!
He reminds me of the old farmers 🚜 and the working 💪 class men i knew when i was a kid
What makes this song so relatable is that this song is now old
Exactly. This life goes to fast and we don't want any regrets!
I blinked.
Imp no
I'm right there with you buddy. I wish I wouldn't have blinked. I was so ignorant and thought things were always going to be the way they were. Then I woke up and I was 30. Friends were gone. Life had changed. Quickly.
Because when your hour glass runs out of sand, you can't flip it over and start again. Favorite quote of all time right there.
hour glass runs out of sand, you can't flip it over and start again , now that Sounds like a Good Country song !!!!!!!

jordan rice, enjoy your youth while it's here as I'll be 50 years old this year and find it hard to believe I've been around going on half a century.

🤍❤🖤 yes
My bride just hit the big six oh. Remember the day I met her back in 1982 like it was yesterday. We'll be celebrating our 33rd anniversary the end of this month(March). Three children and eight grandchildren later, plus all kinds of trials and tribulations, we're still hanging in there. For any of you younger folks reading, respect and love your parents. They won't be around forever. Great song and good advice.
That last part made me tear up. God bless
Robert Sunderland Congrats my mom and Dad celebrated there 31st anniversary last week
Amen to that im only 25 and this song is a good song i love it
This is beautiful 💓 hopefully you added another year to your marriage & your children and grandbabies look up to y'all & cherish every moment had of this beautiful life 😍 I call my parents every day ...
Katie Ward Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉 hope you too can be together for a long time coming
This was my daughter's graduation song for her class of 2018. I'd never heard this song before that. Such a moving and true song. Totally agree; "Don't Blink,". Keep on having the best life that you can possibly have, and hug and kiss your kiddos every chance you get.
Katie Ward Cherish wat YOU HAVE!!!! I promise cherish wat YOU HAVE EVERYDAY!!! Always love YOUR husband LIKE when yal was in high school! Life flys by

You said it all, don't blink, family is so important
Amen I couldn't of said it better myself!!!!!

Family comes before "The Virus". Jesus people!!! Wake the heck up!
You've been had. The virus is a ghost. With 99.7% survival rate without a vaccine listless mortality rate that flu with a vaccine.
They are a better place. Plz keep your heads up and stay safe. God bless you and your family.
I’m only 19 but I’ve done lost all my grandparents and half my cousins. Life just goes quick when you take it for granted
I'm sorry for your lost keep em in your heart ❤️ remember the good memories
I feel your every word. I lost my husband my kids my dad and then buried my sister last week. She was 32. I'm 36 I've got my brother and my mom that's it. No grandparents. Walk out the door as if it's your last time. This here today gone tomorrow world we live in. I watched my sister pass away in a tragic accident. She come to help me when I ran out of gas it happened on Sunday morning 11/13/22 and she was putting gas in my car and a reckless driver hit and killed her. You just never know when your time is up.
My 15 year old son started high school today. A few blinks ago he was born! A true gift! Hug your kids!
I understand this song . I'm a grandma of 6. Time just flies. I think and remember when my 3 daughters were little. Now I'm watching my Grands grow up before my eyes. I'm grateful for my memories.
@Robin Dew. It was simpler times back when this song was released oh how time flies lol beautiful memories, what’s your favorite song
Seriously in the same boat
I can relate to this so much. I’m gonna be 21 in 15 days. It’s crazy.
You all have no idea! The older you get the faster it goes. I wish I could get my daughter to realize this. She graduates this year. She wants to be an adult and do it all RIGHT NOW!
turning 21 in april, graduated in 2020 first class during covid lol. time has flown by so fast since then. take every moment in and appreciate it
I usually don't comment on videos 😂 but my father in law and I use to sing and dance to this song all the time together. Unfortunately he passed away on February 19, 2020. This is my first time listening to this song since he passed and I half expect him to come in the kitchen dancing 😂 that's how we were. I'm so sorry I couldn't do more for him. We all love you pops rest in peace ❤️❤️❤️
❤💙❤💙
My paw paw passed away the same day he died im sorry for your loss 😔
@@puffytheangel483 Thank you. My deepest condolences for your loss as well.
Lzzieggggg
oops pressed the dislike button on accident, but keep your head up God will take good care of him in heaven!
I lost my first love 02/22/14 and this song takes me back to the days of young love, our whole life ahead of us. Our family we shared. ❤
@Thank you so much for the support and love always. How are you today?
As a kid, you always thought that time passed slowly, but as you age time starts to go by faster and faster. From 3-14 takes 25 years to pass, 15-26 takes 8, 27-40 takes 4, and 40-death takes just seconds. You can't change time, you just have to fill what time you can with great memories.
This was one of my grandpa's favorite songs before he passed... he always said the lyrics hold so true and I will always love this song because of him.
Having a rough day today. Needed to hear this song. Kenny has a voice that is the balm for my broken soul.
Yes he does
He has a way of doing that same thing for me...
My daughter Camille just graduated today I love this song listen to it and think about her
My children are now 19, 16 & 13 and man this song so hits home. I’d give anything to do it all again and spend more time with them instead of chasing the money. #DONTBLINK!
Fun fact: you didn't find this in your recommended... You searched this up because you have excellent taste in music
If you're listenin' to this 2024, don't blink.
I’m listening in 2024, just started thinking about this song and wanted to see the video. Love Kenny anyway, so it’s all good. And that’s so true too!
😊
😊
I blinked 14 years ago and here i am

@@milowoodruff8146 Life is not finite. You are definitely more introspective than I was at your age. Enjoy your life, and appreciate all that came before you.
@@kevvegas what exactly does introspective mean but other than that I understand what your trying to say and I will enjoy my life
@@milowoodruff8146 It is the ability to examine your most inner thoughts. You loved your great grand parents, they loved you, and even mugsy received a few hugs.

We lost my mom to cancer this year, April, 2020. This was one of her favorite songs and she used to tell always tell me "Don't Blink". From starting a family to starting my business, I'll always have this song and her wisdom.
Your mom is still with you. I'm going thru this myself. And that's what got my chin up.
