This reminds me of my youth. I turned 51 on 4/4/21. And I’d give anything to go back and relive my younger years. Especially the way the world is now. We had it good in the 80’s as teenagers.

I am only 16 and everytime i hear this song i think of the two freinds i lost in two separate car accidents. I was really close with both of them but i can only remember them. People please dont drink and drive you may think you can do it but you can't. You may not get hurt but others feel pain because of your stupidity. SO PLEASE DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!
I am sorry for your loss. When I was 17 I was in a bad car wreck due to drinking and driving (I was in the backseat) and they almost lost me. Long story short I had an 8 percent chance of living and being 100% brain dead IF I did live, I was life flighted, prnounced dead on the scene (covered in blood/seizuring) I was cut out of the car and then life flighted to Dallas. so yes like you said Don't drink and drive man its not worth it

I lost my best friend on Valentine’s Day… many years ago, he was walking his girlfriend home… from a party, the snow was heavy, they were walking against traffic so they could get out of the way when traffic came, a Drunk passed a car on a bridge and took him out… it still haunts me today after 40 years 😢

I remeber sitting in my highschool parking lot in senoir year listening to this song with a group of my buddys not really understanding the meaning of this song....We were looking forward to graduating, and "growing up", getting real jobs, etc... Then covid happened...never experienced prom, never had a highschool graduation, never got to experience my senior year and never truly got to emotionally detach from my highschool... Now fast forward 4 years, my buddys don't hang out anymore, we've all got separate lives, all have jobs. Now I listen to this song and it brings me back to those highschool days, smell of fresh cut grass on the football field, seeing your buddys everyday, summer football games, screwing around in class with your friends, enjoying life before "real life" began....Man I miss those days...what I would do to go back.....

Absolutely love this song I just lost my very close captain firefighter uncle in Houston tx at 58's station an he fell in line of duty 1 year an 3 months ago they had a hero funeral for him I never wanted to believe it was real an never wanna return to another hero funeral it was absolutely beautiful yes but so heart wrenching an he passed at age 50 almost 51 didn't quite make it an this song always breaks me every tine makes me flash back on the memories I had w/ him an how much I miss him he was like my 2nd dad I could always run to him when I needed him an how i wish we could turn back the time an rewind an stop the time in its tracks this song definitely hits home an still today I miss him so much wish I had 1 phone call to him

This song hits extra hard in 2021. I think about 90s when things were so much simpler. Sure back in that day I truly loved my first girl and lost my first good friend but when looking at the bigger picture outside of myself, society was just better. People were nicer. Things were less complicated. I miss it.

The country as a whole was better; I saw my dad go back to work in 1992 (and he worked steadily until retirement), and we no longer received food from our suburb. There *certainly* was not NEARLY as much hate circulating around as there is now.

Bangles Manic monday takes be back to 3rd grade, riding in the back of Heather's Volkswagen beetle. It felt like I had forever back then LOL. Sir Mix alot baby got back takes me back to 1992 at the skating rink with my friends, the world was so new and everything was exciting. Only the good die young still gives me chills as my mom died at the young age of 52. Can't help falling in love takes me back to july 2nd 1994, my first kiss. The list goes on. Music is the ultimate time machine. Cherish those you love. Make every day count! Live each day as it is your last.
