I was the Karen whisperer in my old retail job. I knew how to make them think I saw from their side and was doing everything I could.
I feel so sorry for the husbands, imagine marrying the girl of your dreams, making a good life for yourself then a decade later realizing she’s become one of these monsters

Some years ago, I worked at a department store, in the women's section. Karen was browsing the racks, and her two children were running around in the area. The racks were old, unstable, and have sharp edges. The racks were also heavy, with or without clothes. I politely asked Karen to please stop her children from running around, as her kids could hurt themselves on the racks. She went ballistic, found my supervisor, and proceeded to rip me a new one about being disrespectful and rolling my eyes at her. My supervisor said, "Okay I'll talk to my employee." After Karen and her kids left, I explained the situation to the supervisor. My supervisor said, "Don't worry about it. I saw what happened." (Public service announcement: PLEASE do not let your kids run around a store. It's not a playground.)

I'm guessing the most karen thing at the moment will be screaming at someone for standing 10 feet away from her, while she goes the wrong way down a supermarket aisle, and probably without wearing a mask when the store asks everyone else to (and they do)
A frozen Sara Lee cake doesn't say happy birthday either.
I was working as a security officer at a motel... Karen asks me to open the swimming pool so she and her daughter can swim. The pool closes at 6 pm and it was already 9 pm. Her argument was "we're free, white, and 21!" I explained that I don't make the rules. She wanted to see the security manager... It was me. She may have been free and white; but, she passed 21 during the Nixon administration...

I do kinda feel bad for the Karen who lost 250 slides over a simple mistake

She left her basket in the middle of the floor and walked off. Per store policy, we're not allowed to let baskets sit in the aisles, as we had a customer who tripped over one and broke her foot. So, I move it to the side for a little bit to see if she'll come back. That thing sat there for about half an hour, and no one showed up, so I took it to customer service and they go and put everything back. Lo and behold, 5 minutes later, Karen turns up, demands to know where her basket is, and screams at me for putting her shopping away. She said I 'should have known she was coming back for it,' as if I'm psychic. Then she wanted us to go and get everything and put it back in the basket. She stormed out when we said no.

The karen was a cousin who chucked a fit over something insignificant I said and the proceeded to lock herself in my room and smashed my tv, picked up my pc and threw it out a window and finally threw my consoles against the floor breaking them.
Karen: I'll never shop here again!
See this is why they need to make an island for Karen's only. These people are seriously lacking common sense
Who's the poor soul that's going to tell Karen that she doesn't have the power to fire anyone?
I now wanna open a businesses with a policy that states "if your an asshole to our staff, we will treat you the same way or you can leave".
I worked in delivery logistics for the biggest wholesale shipping co. During a West Coast fire, and an East Coast shutdown due to hurricane... Dude wanting was east coast, mid hurricane, wanting something from a warehouse that was actively on fire....
Anytime someone says "im never coming here again you lost a customer" i can hear the employee think "you promise?"
