Kid Rock is amazing! I have never seen another artist since Elvis be able to cross genres and make it work. If you ever get a chance to see Kid Rock live go see him. He puts on an amazing show. My boyfriend and I have seen him twice now in concert. And he doesn't charge out the rear end for his tickets they're $20 a person. He believes in letting people have cheap tickets so they still have money in their pockets to be able to live on and pay their bills. And each city that he plays in that has a children's hospital he donates the proceeds from his show to the children's hospitals. Not many artists would do that.
First time seeing your reaction to this song. But one thing I can tell you from having listened to Kid Rock is I'm pretty sure he's capable of singing anything. He does have a good voice.
She was a teacher too before fame. And she was a back up singer for MJ you see her in I think the Bad Tour. She was married to Lance Armstrong at the time, I think.
For the fun side of Kid Rock..... "ALL SUMMER LONG".... it was a HUGE cross-over hit like this one!!! It's REALLY fun and a perfect tribute to many of our teen years!! ;) ;)
Kid Rock ROCKS!!!!!!, There is so much to hear from him. Over so many genres. He started in Rap, then he did Rock and after that tackled Country and even has songs with Hank Williams Jr.
I had never listened to Kidd Rock or Cheryl Crow before this song came out. Let me just say Kidd Rock can sing. He proves it in this song where he changes yes to sing in Cheryl Crow’s key and absolutely nails. This song is Kidd Rocks biggest hit. It topped the country charts. They did another duet called “Collide”. It also is this same southern rock/country genre

I feel like when this song came out the “80’s” hair band rocker fans were growing up and moving into country music. Country music in the 90s felt more like bluesy rock. Like it’s audience was growing up, they still liked guitars and drums they just wanted more substance. While grunge was good and we still liked it, country music had more soul. I was a 80s hair band and pop music girl. I personally stayed with enjoying grunge longer than many of my friends who were transitioning to country music. Then I met my husband… at a bar. He was wearing a cowboy hat and boots. I was still dating my “grunge boyfriend” at the time although it was a very rocky relationship. As soon as I met that cowboy I knew he was my life partner. My husband LOVES 70s and 80s rock but as the 90s approached much like a lot of us he transitioned to 90s country. This particular song was a crossover and played on both country, pop and rock stations. As grunge took over rock you would see several hair band artist dabbing into country.
Sheryl - Strong Enough, The First Cut is the Deepest, My Favorite Mistake, Everyday is a Winding Road, A Change Would Do You Good. Show also does a beautiful duet with Sting from The Police called Always On Your Side.
I can't say Kid Rock is southern rock considering he'sfrom the Detroit area and a large majority of his songs are rap...if you want Southern rock, go with 38 Special or Lynyrd Skynrd or Molly Hatchet!
Kid Rock transitioned from doing rap to doing Bob Seger styled rock with southern influence Some popular Kid Rock songs that people are counting as southern rock is "All Summer Long" "First Kiss" "Johnny Cash" "Born Free" "Only God Knows Why".
Kid Rock is one of those artists that people either love or hate - there's no in between. And yeah - he is a bit of an asshat, but he is so underrated as an artist. He plays many different instruments. He can spit some bars, sing rock, sing country, and southern rock! I live in the Detroit area and I go to every live show I can. They're just a huge party!
yup just like Cilantro 🌿 some love it but to me it tastes like dish soap. I don’t hate Kid Rock I just don’t like him,but I recognize he had talent. I’m not really into country music except for Willie,Waylon,Hank,Merl, and I have to admit David Alan Coe
This song was such a surprise when it came out. More country than anything else on country radio at the time. From a rapper (or whatever you catagorize Kid Rock as) and a pop star.
Kid Rock had a long-ish relationship with Pamela Anderson. Tommy Lee’s ex-wife and baby momma. Kid Rock is from Detroit btw. I have recommended Sheryl before for Female Friday so please do her now.
Have family that hung with him on the lake. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan...He visits a lot. That's why he sang the very popular...All summer long! If I remember right it was filmed on the lake in Michigan. Another slow but awesome songs is Only God Knows Why!!! For grittier ones you'll never be able to put on station is...So Hott, You Never Met a Motherfu**er Like Me & Lowlife. I think Amber would like...Blue Jeans and a Rosary & Roll On. He has an amazing catalog of songs!!
Sheryl Crow has some really good songs like All I Want to do is Have Some Fun, Every Day is a Winding Road, and Redemption Day. She also has a live duet with Stevie Nicks for her song Strong Enough.
Huge Sheryl Crow fan, here. In my opinion, Sheryl Crow and P!nk are the two most underrated female artists of the past 20 years. Both woman are more than worthy of your Female Fridays. Sheryl is a musical powerhouse. She is a brilliant singer/songwriter, and when you go to a Sheryl Crow concert, she plays five different instruments over the course of the concert: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, piano, and harmonica. Oh, and she is a nine time Grammy winner. The lady is legit!

Sheryl Crow is on the same level almost with Stevie Nicks. They are two top-tier singers/songwriters and became good friends years ago most likely because they have this in common. There aren't too many in this category with these 2 gals. There is lots more to listen to of Sheryl just like there is of Stevie.

Sorry. I’ve heard he’s an AH who treats everyone around him like crap. No thanks.
@@drieuxkoeppel8152 You've heard wrong.
@Drieux Koeppel -not true-
First time seeing your reaction to this song.
"Never met a M'Fer quite like me!" Great Kid Rock song.
For the fun side of Kid Rock..... "ALL SUMMER LONG".... it was a HUGE cross-over hit like this one!!! It's REALLY fun and a perfect tribute to many of our teen years!! ;) ;)
As a person who grew up in Michigan during the 80s, this song captures my teenage summers to a T.
Minnesota summers also. I was 15 summer of ‘89. Those days were the best. Love this song. 💜💜
Agreed
Yes! All Summer Long
Please do brad paisley with Allison Krause “whiskey lullaby”
That is a bomb ass song! And I love this song!
YES
I was thinking this too

@@nedcassley5169 Jesus Christ my bad!
Steve McQueen was one of my favorite Cheryl Crow songs, cant stop dancing to it.
I love Kid Rock. Just saw him again in concert.
Sheryl Crow is due for female Friday. “All I Wanna Do” is a good one.
Didn't she do Shut Up and Drive? Good song!
If you want a fantastic female for female Friday, please check out America's Got Talent's audition of Courtney Hadwin. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
fun fact: him and sheryl crow actually had a brief relationship after recording this song together !
REALLY 🥺
Kid Rock ROCKS!!!!!!, There is so much to hear from him. Over so many genres. He started in Rap, then he did Rock and after that tackled Country and even has songs with Hank Williams Jr.
I LOVED when they did Country Crossroads together….
He plays blues and funk too
I had never listened to Kidd Rock or Cheryl Crow before this song came out.
You guys are my absolute FAVORITE reaction channel. And trust me, since Covid hit I’ve been watching a lot of them lol. Every single reaction is on point. Y’all are both very intelligent, musically rounded, and obvi love what you’re doing. Y’all are amazing together, love how you interact with one another! You guys remind me of myself and my husband:). I also love that y’all are still doing music too. Too many reaction channels seem to start w/ music and then before you know it they turn political and leave the music behind. I’m so glad you haven’t done that w/ your channel. We all need more music in our lives. Please keep doing what you’re doing. You guys are awesome!!!!
Sheryl Crow "If It Makes You Happy"....I play this song at least 3 times a week ( and I can actually sing it too lol )
The kid was married to Pamela Anderson... Short fling and he doesn't even want to talk about it. I don't blame him. He's a great guy and entertainer. He has been to the White House several times.
Eh, great guy is a long stretch considering his racism and homophobia...
@@jmcb00 That and being to the White House isn't exactly a testament to ones character.
I remember him saying he couldn't believe anything she said.
If you guys havent already reacted to it, another phenomenal duet is Whiskey Lullaby with Brad Paisley and Allison Kraus.
What an absolute joy to watch, I love you two!!!! Don't know if you'll see this on an older video, but I wasn't able to find any more Kid Rock reactions. I recommend Bawitaba, American Badass, Devil without a cause.....Love y'all, keep up the wholesome, fun entertainment!!!
I enjoy this man's music but admire him even more for his dedication to & love of our Free Republic!
Also kid rock's "Cowboy " explains the shift to southern rock sound. GREAT SONG
"All I Wanna Do" is Sheryl's signature song. Great song.
Love that song. I hope they react to this song
"Picture" is a duet written by American music artists Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, released on November 12, 2002..... This is a great Sheryl song to check out...
This was a great story telling with two voices the worked so well together.
Cannot hear this without thinking of my son.he turned me on to kid rick..and this song.havent seen him now in over -6yrs.but.it all comes right bk with this one. Kid rock does it all.rock country.?whatever he wants to.lov the words to this. Listen to it a -2nd time! The words!!omg!!great job again and thankx for some great memories of my boy! Dan..10/06/21
Even better I think is Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow singing "Collide " which I think shows off their chemistry together, not to mention that its a really good song. Definitely check it out.
this was me and my hubby song..he passed in mar
Sheryl Crow songs, "All I wanna do" put her on the map as a solo artist. "If it makes you happy", "Soak up the Sun" and "First Cut is the Deepest".
I LOVE "Soak up the Sun"!
I don’t care for everything Kid Rock does, but his duet with Cheryl Crow proves his real talent. How about playin Kid Rock doing “Cowboy” it’s fun.
Cowboy is a banger!
@@TBoNAtl Early Kid Rock is great.
I also love only god knows why his slow songs are great
Only Kid Rock song I like
I love that song!!
Kid Rock is one of my all-time favorites when I was a kid I used to listen to Only God Knows Why and as I got older he came out with Born Free. Also his All Summer Long is a huge hit so yeah highly recommend all his songs and great reaction video guys. Keep it up 👍❤️👍
This makes me so happy that you love this song. I love your reactions,
This is very different from the 'normal' Kid Rock. Never was a huge fan until this song. SMILE my friends ! 😊❤🎵 Definitely check out Sheryl Crow for female Friday - "The First Cut is the Deepest" - there are SO many !
Same here
Yup!!! 🎯
I would just like to add that this is a cover, the original is made by Cat Stevens!
@@SuperPlacido1 yes. Do the cat stevens version. And that’s a rabbit hole you can go down. Amber music
Sheryl Crow “If it makes you happy”, “Strong enough”, “Every day is a winding road “, “ The first cut is the deepest “, “My Favorite Mistake “, & “All I wanna do”.
For a number of years, I and my karaoke buddy Dee would do this every week together. WE OWNED THE ROOM WHEN WE SANG THIS. good times....Thank you for reacting to this.
All summer long by Kid Rock. Always puts me in a good mood!
Sheryl - Strong Enough, The First Cut is the Deepest, My Favorite Mistake, Everyday is a Winding Road, A Change Would Do You Good. Show also does a beautiful duet with Sting from The Police called Always On Your Side.
I can't say Kid Rock is southern rock considering he'sfrom the Detroit area and a large majority of his songs are rap...if you want Southern rock, go with 38 Special or Lynyrd Skynrd or Molly Hatchet!
flirtin' with disaster
Kid Rock transitioned from doing rap to doing Bob Seger styled rock with southern influence Some popular Kid Rock songs that people are counting as southern rock is "All Summer Long" "First Kiss" "Johnny Cash" "Born Free" "Only God Knows Why".
Outlaws?
Or ZZ Top!
Natchez band from France ,they may not be Southern US American but they are a Southern Rock French Band because of the style of music they perform..
Sheryl Crow for Female Friday!!! "If It Makes You Happy" is a great one
One of my favorite duets! I can soo relate...
Thanks guys this is one of my favourite songs and singers. I love it
Kid Rock is one of those artists that people either love or hate - there's no in between. And yeah - he is a bit of an asshat, but he is so underrated as an artist. He plays many different instruments. He can spit some bars, sing rock, sing country, and southern rock! I live in the Detroit area and I go to every live show I can. They're just a huge party!
Yep! He’s great and puts on the best Show!
No, he is not. He doesn't write his own shit. He is a piece of shit, that has been propped up by the music industry
@@profanepersonality you are not bright try again next time no one in the music industry props up Kid Rock if anything they keep him on the sideline
yup just like Cilantro 🌿 some love it but to me it tastes like dish soap. I don’t hate Kid Rock I just don’t like him,but I recognize he had talent. I’m not really into country music except for Willie,Waylon,Hank,Merl, and I have to admit David Alan Coe
and Johnny Cash of course
This song was such a surprise when it came out. More country than anything else on country radio at the time. From a rapper (or whatever you catagorize Kid Rock as) and a pop star.
Sheryl Crow was a backup singer for Michael Jackson before she broke out as a solo artist. Her biggest song, so far, is All I Wanna Do
Kid Rock was actually raised a real rich kid but definitely down to earth a great man. He's everything from hip Hop to country.
Sheryl can absolutely sing and so can Kid Rock, I love this song
our favorite kid rock is "all summer long" but i personally also like cowboy.
And she was married to Lance Armstrong
I would think after this it shouldn't be long.
This song is a blending of two great voices
I think a good song to check out Sheryl’s voice is “The First Cut is the Deepest”. It’s one of my favorite Sheryl songs.
I'm not a Kid Rock fan or a Sheryl Crow fan, but this song is a banger. I love it. ❤🤘
You forget, she also plays the accordion!
@@cissyiniguez You're right, I missed one! She didn't play the accordion at the concert I went to. Out of sight, out of mind ;)
@@IBGECKO Guess I just had more opportunities, I've seen her a few times. If you're interested & haven't seen her play, there's a few vids here on YT, I suggest Strong Enough unplugged.
@@cissyiniguez I saw her in concert a few years ago at the Hollywood Bowl 😊
Sheryl Crow is on the same level almost with Stevie Nicks. They are two top-tier singers/songwriters and became good friends years ago most likely because they have this in common. There aren't too many in this category with these 2 gals. There is lots more to listen to of Sheryl just like there is of Stevie.
They only thing Crow and Nicks have in common is their love of cocaine. Do your homework.
The version of this song with KR and Leann Rimes blows all others out of the water.
I love the way you guys get into the music great job keep it up
