This is Super Mario 64 but every second a random enemy spawns. This mod was made by @beard556 and is way more difficult than I would have expected. I hope you enjoy the video!

This is a mod for the mario 64 pc port! The version I'm using is called sm64 ex coop where you can play sm64 online with your friends. Join the discord for help to set it up!

The reason you took a lot of damage in whomps fortress is because you lost marios hat. Without it, mario takes a lot more damage then he usally does.

@@Drenchyprobably because the speedrun route you normally do doesnt require you to go any of the levels where you can lose your hat.

1:12 I don't know how it's possible, but that egg is an unused sprite in Super Mario 64, it was the egg that the bird in Womp's Fortress was supposed to hatch from. for some reason the cloud made it spawn.

This was refreshing to watch. I appreciate a challenge run where the streamer isn't narrating over the entire run. I enjoy that you highlight the gameplay while narrating only when necessary. Also, your reactions are authentic as opposed to the many other zany and over-the-top streamers on TH-cam. I can only imagine how loud and annoying a person could be while overemphasizing their reaction to this mod with how intense the challenge became. Great video!
Thanks Jordan! Yeah an issue with a lot of Mario content is that most people try to appeal to a younger audience but what I’m trying to make is something everyone could watch! Also I have all the mods available for people to try themselves eventually!

Every star should decrease the multiplier by 0.50% imo
half of 1 percent would be barely noticeable to make a difference.

The fact that a random enemy can spawn right before you, whether it be the haunted piano, a Bowser, or even the freakin giant EEL, is downright terrifying stuff.
I like how in the end cutscene the game decided that it had enough of the chaos and finally crashed.

the speed increases way too fast imo
it should only be like +1.05x or +1.1x
ok after watching further it does change to 0.05x at one point
is this something you can change manually or is it automatic
So the mod had a few issues like most of the mods on this channel it’s kinda jank but still cool. It did reset multiple times throughout idk if you notice that it keeps going back to 15x because of that but yeah you are right it started off really fast

It has a special place in my heart along with donkey kong 64, goldeneye and perfect dark ect.. I typically play fps games but been on a mario kick lately and I enjoy vids like this so keep up the great work my friend! 👍 Who would've thought after all these years we'd be keeping the game alive with mods/rom hacking! ❤😁

Damage is higher when Mario isn’t wearing his hat.

I tried this, I got caught in a whirlwind, pushed inside a wall, and a cannon spawned, putting me inside, and softlocking my game XD

While every enemy is an object, not every object is an enemy. The title of the video is a bit misleading

What version of this makes the game smooth and have those extra effects?
This is the Mario 64 pc port. The one I’m using is a fork of it that has multiplayer and mod support. Search sm64 ex coop on google for the GitHub and guide to install it. It’s easier than it looks! Or if you need more help join the discord in the description and I can help or point you in the right direction! (Just ask me in the “ask drenchy”channel)

@@Drenchy Yes and if you want to know why Mario took more damage than he usually does, it’s because his hat has a small defense against your health damage where as Mario without a hat takes way more damage than he usually does from the fire, enemies and other things that get in the way
