From what I've seen so far nothing removes any effects from this Titan. Not phase shift or transcendence. Nothing. They've made it this way 100% on purpose. The lengths they go to just to make sales is ridiculous. This Titan is completely broken.
Already met squads of it, it's plain stupid. It DOESN'T take damage. I shot it from point blank range with inferno/pyro, used lasso too. Nothing. Meanwhile, it oneshots everything. But they won't fix matchmaking or deal with hackers and tankers.

What remains is not War Robots... 04:00 is a perfect example...it's so pleasant to have another as*hole pierced by 2-3OP Raptors at the same time... they don't even play with care because they don't need to. They just jump in the middle of the battle because they know nobody can do (almost) anything against them. If that's a fun game, fun has become less fun these days...
After I checked the cycle DPS of the new titan acidic shotguns, I run 3 of them at "Level 1" on my Eiffel, and they still good! I do expect a nerf similar to Inferno and Pyro is coming for these weapons.
The dash has the same effect as using the hiroku drone. Adds dot (temp hp) in this case because it automatically removes the damage and you just get a bigger health pool. If you spam it you have infinite hp. Aka they broke the game again.
This is exactly why War Robots is a garbage game. We used to complain about hackers. Now Pixo releases gear that performs at the same abilities or stronger than hackers. For years now pixo has continued to increase the imbalancing to the point where it's simply insulting. Time for this game to die.
Fr the mauler is unkillable, it drifts like a hacker and the new shotguns kill everything in seconds. This new setup legit feels like it would rival a hacker if they battle. As always, a gigantic obligatory middle finger to players from pixonic.
When I saw the Mauler Titan on the live server for the first time I used my Luchador (keep in mind it’s a lvl 45 with maxed out weapons and almost maxed out modules) but upon even putting up my reflector shield it instantly used its ability and I got wiped out immediately.
It figures, I finally got an Eiffel and now Pixonic comes out with the Mauler. I’m also stuck with the basic mothership and have almost enough components for a Thor, but now that I’m close, I never get Thor components. Same for Bagliore and Raptor. Oh well
The main problem with the mauler and why it takes like no damage is how many defence points it has, it has 250 maxed and for referance the rook a relatively tanky titan only has 160 defence points maxed and the luchador has only 170.
Another thing that i can't fathom, if I do a general search on youtube for war robots content, this channel is never listed although is has one of the largest followings and in my opinion the best for content. What is wrong with the search algorithm or am I missing something ?

You don't even need the new weapons to create this kind of destruction. I've run sonic shotguns and sonic machine guns both do incredibly well. Flames are next.
I ran into a duo that killed my Mauler pretty quick. Players are getting smart and using Vendicatores to immobilize the Mauler. Not only is the Mauler locked down so you can't escape but you can't turn and fire at the enemy. So far this is the most effective way I've seen used as a counter to the Mauler. With time I'm pretty sure we're going to see more ways.
Not necessarily if you think about it, I've seen many videos of the indra getting cooked and I knew before the mauler came out the indra wasn't gonna be that popular since it's phase shift doesn't remove the effects of it

Well I killed my 1st mauler today ,just me with maxed curie/subduers, mostly because the guy brought in although maxed he had pyros,and was on the other side of the moonbase tunnel . I have no doubt that will be the only time .🤷♂️
Its overkill, adding that direct damage to DoT conversion on dashing ability... honestly I think thats whats making it so tanky, like how the Ocho was when it first came out. We need a Titan Arnav Poe pilot for the Indra and get that 3rd ability charge... that can go head to head against a Mauler.

@UniformGem2 you definitely have it backward. Newton removes a robot gravity. If anything, Newton, the black hole and mauler, is a ball of energy. Newton own body splits apart, hanging off zero gravity when the ability is active.

A black hole is matter being compressed into a point so dense that it bends space time and stops light. And that isn't what newton does, it manipulates the gravity of the target and makes them float. Mauler itself arguably has the black hole because of its design, and like I said, from the official war robots channel, the title says mauler has a black hole in its hand
Right now the strongest build for Ocho is probably the tesla weapons. I did a video a few weeks back using the Mace-Tamer and Hazard-Tamer. You could also try full Blast Shot Guns with Mace-Cudgel.
Something I want to point out is that the mauler is actually super bad. The reason why it's so OP is because of it's health and abilities. If you were using a brand new mauler with no upgrades and headed into a match without using it's abilities it's terrible. As he told us, they only titan that might stand a chance is Indra. I say no. I think bedywar (if used properly) may beat mauler. Same for Effiel, Sirus, Athier, bisol luchador (I think that's what it's called) and maybe even Nodnes x Aurthur together. Nodnes gets to power up Aurther and it's shield which gives him an advantage. On top of that you have Nodens fighting too. Disagree with me or not but it's the truth. This Titan is dissapionting. Even an ultimate can probably take this Titan down.
Indra not really! With or without the new weapons, the moment you get out of your ability, Mauler vanishes Indra! I know i tried it... But if you manage to keep your distance with Eiffel or even a Newton, in large maps with the choke ability, where everyone is hitting a flowed Mauler, is a chance to bieat him, i've seen it happening already in game...
@@AsperaZeit 90% of raptors are gonna have a charged IA and avalon. that idea only works if the raptor just spawned in. but anyways @WeirdBeard_69 to answer your question, about its only consistent counter is another raptor/an even more powerful setup. (UE fenrir, UE phantom, Mauler+new shotguns, etc). otherwise you and your team just have to work together to take it down
i deals with raptors with erabus equipped with rust weapons. Need perfect timing shoot raptors with emp after 3-4 seconds of jump and let it be a shooting target for your team. Rust will stop healing and emp will stop jump and annoying reflectors. EMP will definately annoy them so manage distance and use team as defence
Defence Points = resistance. The more you have the less damage you take although the higher up you go the less it matters. For example you will never have 100% resistance. There is a table I believe on the Wiki page which shows a breakdown in Defence Points and how much resistance it gives.

This thing is like a giant ochokochi... taking 0 damage when it use the ability. Dot effect... deathmark... everything possible on this mauler. Pixonic has lost what WR is.

@UniformGem2 it's literally a black ball, which is why they title that. Black hole have immense gravitational pull meaning nothing can escape.
