I think what makes mauler so strong is the DOT conversion, because as long as you use your dashes while tanking damage, you effectively are immune to grey damage for 10 seconds. Then you can heal back up to 100% using repair amps, keeping you in the game pretty much forever.
I don't understand what's going through these people's heads by putting these broken robots into the game, what they gain is that many people abandon the game

This is not an Ocho Titan but a Raptor Titan. Each dash charge gives it what is essentially invulnerability and the ability lasts for 10 secs, which is way too long after the dash ended. Do note that Pixonic did not disclose the duration of the Hook's damage conversion ability in the Mauler's description. The effect stacks too so you get 20 secs of invulnerability if you dashed twice, instead of refreshing the 10 sec timer and forfeiting the balance. Way too broken for a single ability.
I had faced one of those today, it wasn't yet maxed and it tore through every one of my robots, even my ultimate fenrir which I use specifically to hunt down titans.

I think the Indra is one of the few things that can take on a Mauler somewhat. If only they gave the Indra a Titan Arnav Poe pilot for that 3rd ability charge.
The Mauler is a beast. In that first encounter you had with the Eiffel you actually easily killed him, he full on hit you with his flame Weapons a couple times and I don't think you dropped below 1 Million health ..... and your repair amps wouldn't have kicked in yet. Beast!!
the only way to kill this titan is with another titan however even then the more skilled pilot will win because you have to time both the death mark ability with the time of the other maulr not having it's corrosion ability up only then you can kill it

Subduer Curie is pretty effective against the Raptor. Just DON'T shoot your Subduer at the Raptor while their reflector is up. Just let your Turrets attack while the reflector is up.

Watching you tank TWO flame eiffels (the hardest hitting setup in the game) like its nothing convinced me that this is just hacks enabled by the creators.
One thing I only like about the mauler is it’s very cool design, it’s a very unique design compared to any other titan so far (besides the bedwyr with its bulk looking build) and everything else that makes the titan over powered blah blah blah I dislike.

@PREDATORWR much success with the Newton with vendicator/discord,tumultuous and scavenger lantern..weird build but it really does work very well. If it wasn't for the choke ability, it would be useless. Eiffel is definitely a top contender

The Mauler can stall for way too long with the damage conversion to DoT. Faced it a few times today with my Indra and the fight kept dragging on.
