Hoping GunEvo gains momentum. Game's pacing just feels so much faster than OW2 and you're not constantly locked to your "role" cuz every unit has potential to DPS.

I love the fact that the game doesnt focus too much on being tank, healer or dps, it focuses on class roles partially

Didn't expect my niche FPS game to pop up here; what a pleasant surprise. This game is really fun.
I've been addicted to overwatch since 2017, but honestly have been having so much more fun with Gundam Evo than OW2. Really hope this game garners some long-term success.
I'm sure at least the Asian market will keep it alive

@@Frog_Pants I think that might be a stretch. Console release was only this month and even just introducing cross play would do a lot for the game's sustainability. With some tweaking to the connection problems and a growing roster there's a-lot of potential for the game, even if it doesn't have the same polish as another Hero Shooter like Overwatch. I'm being optimistic obviously, but I would love to see this game stay strong.

I feel that a big fail that this game does is that it doesn’t give a sense of scale. People are supposed to be playing in giant robots, but in gameplay it feels like normal people in armor.

no that is just the cries of mecha purist, the game is not that popular because its franchise genre, and then basically overwatch 2 monetization but less scummy(?), region lock for some reason.
I have not played much mech games in my life but this game does the worse job of reminding you that you're controlling a mech for real. we are the buildings, cars, roads?
@@KinghtofZero00 i agree, the scaling is horrid everywhere except the city maps, but even then the lanes are wide and there’s no destructibility (makes sense tho for gameplay reasons) and some buildings or rocks you can’t fly over

the minus part is.. they don't make afk players to be ai/computers. so its impossible to win 5 vs 6. even u could still winning with afk players in other games like apex, paladins, overwatch, valorant, etc.

i dont know if anyone has done it yet, but i shall do it anyways. you were correct on the Mecha Part, the Pale Rider is just a mobile suit/mecha, it is NOT a Gundam. because the simple resolution would be that it would have Gundam in the name, aka, Gundam, Barbatos and Turn A. the other mechs that dont have gundam in their names are just regular mobile suits (aka what the gundamverse calls its robots.)
Didn’t expect you to play Gundam Evolution! ..oh wait, the sponsorship. Regardless, the game is super fun, glad you enjoy it. My main critique is that they need to include Capital Points in Level Ups.

What I find weird about this game is that we are piloting gigantic mech suits, the size of 3 to 4 story high buildings, but in the game we play in interiors that are human sized in it's design.
Enjoying this game so far. I just wish there was a campaign mode, more pvp modes, and more suits. Hopefully the devs go wacky and bring in some G Gundam suits.

i thought it was gonna be way more copy and paste of overwatch but it actually has some decent ideas. Especially with the healers/supports that can tether and still do damage (mercy)
I love it that this game basically runs the OW format, and Bandai pay any youtuber that plays OW. Now Punch is back on it here we are haha, make that money, Punch!

I've really been enjoying Gundam Evolution. It's not perfect, and seems to turn people away because it looks visually bland. But I found that once I gave it a chance, I really enjoyed it. It's still flawed, but I think it's absolutely worth playing. I happen to be a bit of a Gundam fan so I enjoy it that much more.
I think there is bundle with cheaper price for unlocking gundam and my guy just buy it ala carte
Why gundam evolution is better
1. Has 6v6
2. Anyone can be dps
3. Has more fun movement

One of lifes greatest joys is grappling with the angry butterfly of death, i wish theyd actually properly balance the game and fix the butterfly's grapple box, i wish i could say i missed this game, but i dont cuz the community is almost as cancer inducing as the OW community(mostly cuz they came over here).
