My wife and I love sitting down to dinner and watching your vlog it’s something we both genuinely look forward too. Turkey is the best country we’ve been to, we stay in Oludeniz but we travel all over mostly by dolmus or organised trips and have visited most of the places you have been in this region and it’s so nice seeing them again in your videos 🙂👍

That floor was amazing! Just to think that each piece must have been shaped by hand, but are so incredibly uniform. The church is a beautiful place today, it must have been breathtaking 1500 years ago! 🤯🤯🤯

The Greek orthodox see the church in Demre is as an important part of their faith. A few years ago me and my wife were invited to celebrate their Christmas service, which they hold on December 6th each year in the ruins of St Nicholas Church - at 8am! It was a fascinating experience and one I will never forget. What I loved about it was the mixture of different faiths at the service, Christian, Muslim, Orthodox, Jewish all respecting each other and respecting each others faith.

Greece is like that, you can swim in the mediterranean (Trapeza beach)and then head to a nearby mountain (Kalavryta Skiing Resort,1'30 Hours drive)for skiing and the temperature difference is like 27Celsius on the beach and -8 Celsius at the ski resort Kalavryta.

Another place where you can go skiing in the morning and swim in the sea in the afternoon is Andalucía. I live east coast Málaga and I go to Sierra Nevada early in the morning (1,5h drive) and eat fish on the beach in the afternoon

another great video guys.......... you are in the orange growing region of Turkey. demre , finike and all towns towards Antalya. Thats why you have statues of oranges as you enter these towns/city. when you enter a town or city in Turkey, you can tell what that area is known / common for by what statues they have as you enter them. for example... if you go to Korkuteli 45 minutes northwest of antalya city , you will see statues of mushrooms. as thats what it mainly harvested there . if you drive from antalya to alanya, you will see lots of bananas for sell on the roadside as that is the main region where it is grown

Serik is 3 hours east of Demre. There you can find Aspendos, the best preserved ancient theater in the world.
