Would a previous inguinal hernia repair with mesh (laparoscopic) on the same side as the bad hip mean the "bikini line" technique would not be a good choice? (Other things being equal.)

That would not restrict you from a Bikini incision hip replacement. But I would have to see the area just to make sure.
