Best advise for all those applying, dont come to WITS... not because of the protests, nah! A CS degree mainly focuses on MATHS and APPLIED MATHS... and in second year am doing a module (BASIC ANNLYSIS) which had a 10% pass rate last year

Hi, my APS score was 34 in matric
So I have mat lit on my NSC and I am an LLB graduate I want to study computer science what steps should I take to meet the requirements
I'm not too sure. I would suggest checking with the university.

I don't think so unless it's a requirement for a job I really want. 😅
Apparently from 2024 UP needs a level of >=6(70%) in maths

I have 32 points including lo and 1EGD because i was doing 8 subject so if i put EGD its 36 points and of add lo for wits it's 42 points so is there any chance for me to get any offer, my maths is 66% and physics is 72 % English FAL is 53%

yes you still can , you dont need to know that much maths in cs they normally use discrete math, but just try learning the basics maths is just about using common sense, i too im bad but just trying to improve , dont let this ruin your dream, good luck😊

Hii Tshego and everyone else that will be reading this i hope this finds you well im a NCV student doin level 4 in IT and Computer Science so i wanted to know if would i qualify to Study for a Bsc In Computer Sciences Applying with a NCV(That is said to be equivalent to grade 12) certificate
