- If this were my townhouse, I’d never ever leave because its amazing. Thats why I’m so shocked the current owner’s are no longer living here. Heck, just rent me the basement unit which can be a separate apartment and I’d be happy. Check out this NYC Townhouse tour and let me know what you think!

there's nothing outrightly "luxurious" about this town house, but i'd feel rich as heck living here. That basement is absolutely gorgeous

I would say the spaces are quite premium but yes some of the decor is dated including the bathrooms but it is MORE then usable as is

That possible rental unit at $4500 is actually a real bargain. Loads of room, storage & outdoor area. It's a decent asking price for the whole place also. A different esthetic than some of the others we've seen. For all the room tho I'm surprised at the miniscule shower stalls. Wegmans is a really good grocery store. People have been known to eat whole meals there just from the samples they give out!
Came down to comment, I think they could get 6000 for all that space. Perfect to have a full office in that basement and have people come to work or even make a DIY WeWor it is so big.
Based on other places I have seen on this channel $4500 is a very big discount for that space.
That basement is an insane deal. You can do whatever you want with that much space

And the cons of that townhouse........none!! It's perfect in every way, down to the beautiful plantation shutters on the windows. Outside space and balconies with actual privacy, great bathrooms, kitchen perfect. Seems like a really nice neighborhood. That beautiful wood staircase next to the brick wall, just awesome. It has many textures that all work together so well.

5:09 I never understand why do people jam a bed against a wall. My #1 rule of decorating the bedroom is the bed must be accessible from both sides. No one is going to be crawling over me in the middle of the night to go use the bathroom.

Re: 5:09 I sleep alone, despite being married. It's just easier all around - she gets up WAY too early for my taste and I go to bed WAY too late for hers. But it just happens to work for us.
Well, a twin bed is just for one person and it barely fit in that narrow room. But otherwise, it's a sin not to have both sides of a bed accessible:)

I love this entire building. Personally, as lovely as it is, I would rent out the upper flat and live in the smaller lower level flat myself. If you can rent the lower flat for $4500 a month then I would think you could get double that for the upper flat which would nearly cover the mortgage, definitely a win win situation!
The upper should be at least triple.

Now I don't have 3mil but if I did I would actually look at consider something like this. NYC is sooo wildly expensive and while I'm not saying this place is cheap, for what you're getting and where you're getting it, this doesn't seem that badly priced
The downstairs rental unit is easily one the best apartments you showed this year. Technically 3 bedroom for 4500$ and with way too much space is a bargain beyond belief. I bet hundreds of people are already trying to get this incredible place.

Very nice townhouse! I like what they did with each floor.. VERY aesthetically pleasing. Only one thing for me at my age, it would be a staircase nightmare....

The store “Wegmans”, Weg as in “beg” is a most amazing store, and has a cult following in upstate New York. You will not be disappointed! It is a total experience!!!!! Love, love, love the music you use.

Wegmans is in eastern PA and parts of NJ, too. The best store!
This apt and its immediate area give off a better feel than various other apts & locations in Cash's vids have done. For some reason, the backyard made me think of Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window." One thing about NYC, if you like privacy, that ain't the city for you.
Nice place, and with income potential to help pay off the mortgage! Not for me though. I don't like cities, and live in a semi rural area. Also, I have 2 bad knees and a bad back, so a place with stairs isn't an option for me. Then there is the price. I think it's probably good for NYC, but there is no way I could ever afford it. Still, it was fun taking a video tour of the place. Although the bigger rooms were a little bit narrow, they weren't too much so, which makes them pretty decent. Even the rooms that were too small for a main living area or bedroom we're good for use as a home office or play room. The much smaller bottom unit was actually very nice. That basement storage room has the potential for part of it to be made into more living space, or as you suggested, a workshop.

Really nice well kept place! Definitely rent that bottom floor! Lots of storage there too! Nice furnishings and a relaxing vibe! Nice backyard area and all those balconies! Cash saying he's not wanting to be to invasive as people are living there, but let me take a moment to talk about how to make coffee! 😂 Nice multifamily place also if needed with a very reasonable price! 😍
That train station just gave me a little glimpse into how difficult it must be to find a handicap accessible living space in NYC.
Just look at the sidewalks too. No way a wheelchair could get around.
Yeah, I’d imagine it’s an absolute nightmare. I doubt 1 in 5 subway stops are accessible, plus the added stress that comes with living in a big city.
@@littlebitofhope1489 I've seen plenty of people using wheelchairs in the city, but there are a lot of obstacles and it never looks easy.
@@littlebitofhope1489 yes. Most of our commerical areas in NYC sidewalks are tight. Plus, overcrowded.
The majority of New York City's must-see attractions are entirely accessible and wheelchair friendly.

Wow! What an incredible place! Other than the fact that I can't imagine what to do with all that space, or NEEDING all that space, I would LOVE to live there. Renting out the rental unit for $4500 a month would be a great help. Though, I suppose if one could afford a place for $4.5m they probably don't really NEED to rent it out. But man, I loved every inch of that place!

Smallest place I ever lived in when I was single and renting was about 900sq.ft. Part of the problem I have with most of these NYC apartments is how friggin' tiny and cramped they are, especially for the price. Not to mention they are usually very old buildings, even if the guts have been renovated - the limitations of dealing with old plumbing infrastructure and such anachronisms as radiator heat mean the age of the place can't be hidden.
$4 million dollars! Gorgeous and the way it was staged, the custom kitchen, the great room, the bedrooms with their private juliet balconies built in laundry units and attached bathrooms, the roof deck and street level hangout area plus the basement rental rooms to create an investment property - I could see myself living there but the townhouse is sadly out of my price range.
This unit is totally superior to yesterday’s awful rental. The price to buy this is more affordable than yesterday’s $5,000 rental. You get more space, lots of outdoor space, in-house washer and dryer, jacuzzi, tons of indoor space for multiple room mates or for a growing family, and tons of storage. One even can rent out the most downstairs part of the basement unit to make income off of the unit. The stairs are easy to navigate, and the Navy Yard area of Brooklyn has a lot of nice supermarkets, stores, and restaurants. The downstairs unit would make an excellent rental, in-law, au pear, or storage space. For all of the space available at $4,500 a month, this is an additional great deal.
Brookline? I thought this was in NY? Brookline is a suburb right outside Boston...but I'd say fair price for either location

I have a hp printer...yeah I can relate...however... it's still better than the KODAK printer I had before it...the kodak total POS ...never buy kodak anything anymore..b/c of that printer...
I've had my wifi HP printer (the same one as in this house) for a number of years. Never had a problem with it.

Good afternoon Cash. I love this one so much, can't afford and if I could it would have to have been when I was much younger to many steps for me to enjoy rooftop unless I rest in one of the bedrooms before coming back down. I think I would only rent lower to family, better yet they can have the upper and I'd take the lower that way no steps for me and walkout to yard perfect.

My dad worked at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for decades and we moved when they closed it down in 1965. He transferred to the Philadelphia Navy Yard and that was closed down after he retired. Good to see that it's still being used for something.

I really, really like this townhouse. So much space, so much separation, and that basement is to die for. If I had to live in a hyper-city, this would be an excellent choice. (And, oh, yeah, if I had the $12+ million.)

Well concidering the prices in NY I think this is a good deal actually. The space in both units is awesome in comparison to what we normally see. The rental unit will pay the mortgage.

The neighborhood is terrific. An apartment big enough to have to learn where everything is wonderful. Love the balconies, outdoors and the view.
The wood floors are a warm, friendly hue.
I love a real kitchen. I mean a dedicated room that one can move in, be safe cooking in, section off from the rest of the apartment with a door or curtain or beads or something and even meet with others in. Call me old-fashioned. That's a nice big kitchen too and nicely equipped. It's a kitchen for people people.

That's a really nice place! It reminds me of my Aunt Birdie's house. She and Uncle Mickey lived in the lower half, and her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons lived in the upper unit.
