Aside from having me question if what I was watching for a few minutes there was even legal, what an absolutely insane episode this was! It looks like Mushoku Tensei is about to reach a whole new level, teasing a bunch of new characters and some very strange events unfolding at the end of the episode! We're already on episode 16 over on www.Patreon.com/Robinoyo, and I was NOT ready for the reunion in that episode! Go and check out the next 8 episodes right now!
On a Note: In the LN Rudeus didn't wanted to fall on Phillip's trap, so he started saying those things and pushing it a bit thinking that Eris would be grossed out and leave the room by her own decision. However, when she gave her consent the perverted side took over. He regretted that thinking that he had abandoned all reason and he did truly apologized from the heart.
Right this episode is a lot. So much that goes on. Phillips line about leaving Eris in bed with her hands tied has never been something I can look past. It's the way of royalty to a degree in this world. The Rudy and Eris scene is uncomfortable. To me it's not as bad as episode 6. But it's a close second. It's important to the plot in several ways but even now after so many re-watches it's always one of those scenes were you feel the cringe. You almost consider changing your name, and moving to another country so that your no longer on a goverment watch list but lets just be fair that's anime in general. lol But I love this episode and I love this show. Since your already far ahead you likely know why it's so good. It's not afraid to bring conflict and subject matters that are different from nearly any other anime I've ever seen. And it's able to include them in a fantasy world full of lore and have nearly perfect writing at the same time. Music, animation and voice acting is all solid as well. It's quite a mature show and half of these subject matters if not handled with respect and care would be a complete disaster. Just like the mana disaster that happens at the end of the episode! lol
