@Jhon i think you can bro. Just need to invest on a condenser mic with usb function. Just plug and play and you can use some free virtual digital audio workstation (DAW) like Audacity to record.

realtek digital output - you should use an optical out cable, if your motherboard has that option to a toslink input in an av receiver or your speaker set up in order to get that option. that also assumes that you have an av receiver or speaker set up that has a toslink in, in the first place.

I found this video while searching for solutions for my BM800's hissing problems. I have it plugged into a U-Phoria UM2 Interface and the hissing is still there. But you're right, BM800's high noise floor is there but now with a good interface. My solution is currently: to buy a better mic. I'm currently eyeing on Samson C01.

Why bash the V8 when it cost less than 500ph?. If you're a recording pro, you shouldn't. But for videoke, podcaat, it will do. Not all people want to be a recording engineer. I'd rather go to a professional recoding studio if I think I have the talent to sing.
Videoke yes, podcast no. Really wouldn’t recommend this for content formats that require long listening. Using the V8 will just turn off the potential audience

I wish you made this video earlier 😂 I bought my Bm 800 with phantom power and v8 sound card almost a month ago. It's true that increasing gain in v8 increases the white noise. That's why I keep my v8's gain at around 20-40% only and just use OBS' gain filter :(
Hello, I followed your guide. I listened to my voice in Voicemeeter, it sounds okay. So I changed the output to the Digital Output like you said. Then I open Discord and use Voicemeeter as the input. However the mic test is giving me "choppy" sounds. Like the mic's pickup is intermittent. Even listening to the Voicemeeter output using Window's sound control panel gives the same intermittent pickup. Yet, in Voicemeeter software itself the mic pickup is not like this; its not choppy. And without Voicemeeter, the mic is picking up my voice in full, it doesnt chop after every second. I want to use Voicemeeter though, how can i fix this?

@ 8:46 like the V8 sound card, do not touch Xenyx line EVER! Save up and get the Zoom L-8. It just works, unlike the Xenyx. I should know, I have the Xenyx 1202 and it's crud...Xenyx should not exist! You've been warned! With the Zoom L-8, you want to record a whole band, yes please :) ? Then get the Zoom L-8 even if your only recording 1 person.
@@NORCLA The main problem with them is the high noise in them when you use the gain. It sometimes sends sound to the FX send, so you have to turn the fx on/up so you can hear sound. The work arounds you have to do to hear what your recording is just nuts. Yes, I have watched every video on it I asure you. Great videos from RecordingStudio9.com. The Xenyx is outdated and considered junk imho. The Zoom L8 or L12 just works, no hassles, no work around, no buying extra cables to do this or that or what ever, it just works and you can record anywhere wit hthe L8, it has batteries. You won't ever look back at the Xenyx. And yes, I have mic'd up an speaker cab with it and recorded Fallout 4 on it. I went back to my G432 Heaphones, much better sound recording quality. @@jeffparryncc1701 cheers! Very comprehensive. I have not had any obnoxious problems with noise with gain. Though they are quite noisy compared to my GoXLR mini (which has Midas preamps). I’m going to review other cheaper XLR interfaces to see if they’re better value than the Q502USB

I actually solved the problem about the hiss and harsh sound on v8 soundcard Just turn on the MC effect then turn down a lil bit tremble Mc effect lift up low and mid freq but not the backround noise Naging problema ko na yang hiss and harsh sound na yan sa v8sound card Its sounds like electric sound na naka kapit sa mismong vocal sound waves But nadiskubre kong MC effect lng pala ang solution at ibaba ng konti ang tremble Pag noise recuction ko at pag apply ng plugins Its also a sound good Nasa technique din
Kuya, baka pede ping pa help... Yung Mic ko po kase, ayos yung tunog niya kapag live na napapakinggan ko po sa headset. Maayos po ang tunog. Cellphone po ang ginagamit ko para magrecord, yung record po niya sa phone laging putol putol. May part na hihina tapos lalakas po tapos hihina po ulit. Ganun po yung narerecord kahit sobrang clear niya kapag live na nagrerecord😭 pano po kaya yun?

The BM800 does super well with the Q502USB. You can check out my past streams, I used it for a while with the Q502. And no need to buy phantom power - it already has phantom power built in.

Hi! I'm thinking about streaming mobile games. I don't have a desktop, but I currently have a laptop. Just wanted to ask if using a USB Mic like the Maono AU-A04 is ideal or should I just stick with getting a XLR Mic like the BM800 or an XLR Mic from Maono?
If you're not that budget constrained I would recommend to go XLR but be prepared to spend for equipment to maximize it like a phantom power, audio interface, etc. I would suggest starting with a USB mic if you just want to try the streaming hobby out and don't plan to use the mic for other applications. You can always start from USB and if you outgrow it you can go to XLR :)
Dj Norcla. I am really having a hard time setting up Voicemeeter since there are still some misconfigurations that I cannot find. I just want to ask. Is the XenixQ50 just a plug and play device or do I still need to use a Voicemeeter with it? TIA.

Yeah, I'm here because I have a V8 soundcard, and used it properly like once? Now I'm here because throughout the four, five times I've used this, I've met increasingly higher difficulty getting it to work smoothly. I don't know if I just got a defective unit, but as of now, neither of the supposed output "Live" ports are working. This was able to take a bass guitar into the Dynamic port, and the BM-800 into Condenser mic port on another occasion, and I was able to record on an android tablet using Open Camera, like how I watched in a video here in TH-cam. I'm trying to do that again now, and it's not working. Honestly, I don't even know if it just up and got fried in there lol who knows what's going on in there at this rate 😅 Now I'm hoping that maybe I can just plug the BM-800 directly into PC/laptop. With the settings I've got so far, it's not able to record my voice on the built-in voice recording app on the laptop. Could this fixed by 14:36 alone? Or would I need a different software/app that records or processes the audio?
My V8 sound card is so annoying, its like discord it only activates the mic when you talk in to it or something alike. It's like the noise cancellation is always on its hard to record with it. How do I fix this?

Bali naririnig din ng mga kausap ko sa voice call yung desktop sounds :< .Kapag nagpapatugtug ako ng Music, ung microphone indicator nagalaw rin. May paraan po kaya kung pano matanggal yun?
@@NORCLA Yes po, yung Headphones po naka-connect sa Headset Port ng V8 Soundcard. Tapos yung charging port (Micro USB Port) ng v8 soundcard ay naka-connect sa PC (USB Port). Ang gusto ko po mangyari ay hindi masama ung desktop sounds kapag Recording, yung voice ko lang po sana. Kaso yun nga nangyayari, kasama yung sounds ng desktop pc ko xD

You just have to make sure that the wires are inputted correctly you can test using you headphones or headset maybe so that you can test if it is okay because I already experienced that one

I decided to use it again this morning, everything was fine, it was recognized and stuff, and I tried testing the microphone and I only hear static and that my voice was not getting picked up. My V8 souncard doesnt have S sound at it sounds so bad..and what is the other soundcard that you can recommend to make cover or live boadcast..Works with mobile phone and record video and audio at the same time. Thank you!

The Yamaha F4 USB is 1600 only. It has a built in phantom power too. Check it out.

I actually solved the problem about the hiss and harsh sound on v8 soundcard
Just turn on the MC effect then turn down a lil bit tremble
Mc effect lift up low and mid freq but not the backround noise
Naging problema ko na yang hiss and harsh sound na yan sa v8sound card
Its sounds like electric sound na naka kapit sa mismong vocal sound waves
But nadiskubre kong MC effect lng pala ang solution at ibaba ng konti ang tremble
Pag noise recuction ko at pag apply ng plugins
Its also a sound good

Kuya, baka pede ping pa help... Yung Mic ko po kase, ayos yung tunog niya kapag live na napapakinggan ko po sa headset. Maayos po ang tunog. Cellphone po ang ginagamit ko para magrecord, yung record po niya sa phone laging putol putol. May part na hihina tapos lalakas po tapos hihina po ulit. Ganun po yung narerecord kahit sobrang clear niya kapag live na nagrerecord😭 pano po kaya yun?

The BM800 does super well with the Q502USB. You can check out my past streams, I used it for a while with the Q502. And no need to buy phantom power - it already has phantom power built in.

Hi! I'm thinking about streaming mobile games. I don't have a desktop, but I currently have a laptop. Just wanted to ask if using a USB Mic like the Maono AU-A04 is ideal or should I just stick with getting a XLR Mic like the BM800 or an XLR Mic from Maono?
If you're not that budget constrained I would recommend to go XLR but be prepared to spend for equipment to maximize it like a phantom power, audio interface, etc. I would suggest starting with a USB mic if you just want to try the streaming hobby out and don't plan to use the mic for other applications. You can always start from USB and if you outgrow it you can go to XLR :)

Dj Norcla. I am really having a hard time setting up Voicemeeter since there are still some misconfigurations that I cannot find. I just want to ask. Is the XenixQ50 just a plug and play device or do I still need to use a Voicemeeter with it? TIA.
The Q502USB is a plug and play device with a built-in EQ! I skip Voicemeeter since I just do my EQ on the interface :)

Yeah, I'm here because I have a V8 soundcard, and used it properly like once? Now I'm here because throughout the four, five times I've used this, I've met increasingly higher difficulty getting it to work smoothly. I don't know if I just got a defective unit, but as of now, neither of the supposed output "Live" ports are working. This was able to take a bass guitar into the Dynamic port, and the BM-800 into Condenser mic port on another occasion, and I was able to record on an android tablet using Open Camera, like how I watched in a video here in TH-cam. I'm trying to do that again now, and it's not working. Honestly, I don't even know if it just up and got fried in there lol who knows what's going on in there at this rate 😅
Now I'm hoping that maybe I can just plug the BM-800 directly into PC/laptop. With the settings I've got so far, it's not able to record my voice on the built-in voice recording app on the laptop. Could this fixed by 14:36 alone? Or would I need a different software/app that records or processes the audio?

Hi Sir NORCLA, tanong ko lang po kung paano matanggal ung desktop audio sa microphone, ang nangyayari kasi kapag ingame ako sa laro, pati desktop sound (notificaiton sound, even the game sounds) nasasama po dun sa microphone. Bali naririnig din ng mga kausap ko sa voice call yung desktop sounds :< .Kapag nagpapatugtug ako ng Music, ung microphone indicator nagalaw rin. May paraan po kaya kung pano matanggal yun?

@@NORCLA Yes po, yung Headphones po naka-connect sa Headset Port ng V8 Soundcard. Tapos yung charging port (Micro USB Port) ng v8 soundcard ay naka-connect sa PC (USB Port).
Ang gusto ko po mangyari ay hindi masama ung desktop sounds kapag Recording, yung voice ko lang po sana. Kaso yun nga nangyayari, kasama yung sounds ng desktop pc ko xD
I have a problem and I hope you respond to me, when I put my earphone on both headset and earphone speaker, I hear my mic from my earphone. I want to fix this but I can't find a video to help me fix it.
You just have to make sure that the wires are inputted correctly you can test using you headphones or headset maybe so that you can test if it is okay because I already experienced that one

Hey sir, I need help with my BM800, I haven't used it for months because I have no boom arm and I'm only using a DIY holder. I decided to use it again this morning, everything was fine, it was recognized and stuff, and I tried testing the microphone and I only hear static and that my voice was not getting picked up. I bought a phantom power for my BM800 as you recommended po kasi my V8 produces very loud sounds.. kaso Hindi ko Alam pano paganahin HAHAHA i tried to combine the bm800, V8 and phantom power to my phone as recommended by the seller sa aking Phantom power pero the noise is still there eh:( any advice po?
