  • Let's say our good-byes to another wonderful Pride Month and wrap up all of the great books I read to celebrate it! I hope you all have read some fantastic books, too!
Check out Simon's channel, too! I found the video I was talking about:
    • 25 Books for Pride | J...
    Books mentioned:
It Was Vulgar and It Was Beautiful by Jack Lowery
Michael Tolliver Lives by Armistead Maupin
Small Joys by Elvin James Mensah
Arrete avec tes mensonges by Philippe Besson (Lie With Me)
    In Tongues by Thomas Grattan
    Blackouts by Justin Torres
    Ours by Phillip B Williams

Delighted to see that you loved Small Joys! It was one of my top reads from last year and I did a longform interview with Elvin. I’m not able to paste in a URL link so you’ll have to search for it on TH-cam. I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with your channel and have just subscribed. I also see In Tongues on your shelf and I hope you liked it too. I have a longform interview with Tom on my channel too. But enough about me: looking forward to watching the rest of this video and following your channel from now on!

If you could only pick 1 book to recommend people read for Pride month, what would it be?

@@RaspberryReads alright, I had to have a good long think about this question. I might have to choose Less by Andrew Sean Greer. Even though it centers a middle class white gay man, I think the questions surrounding self-determination, mortality, love, and relationships that the novel seeks to consider are relatable and ones everyone can benefit from.
