omg scoliosis awareness month being the same as pride is hilarious. Truly the universe said NOPE to any straight associations for you, Georgia. I'm not a romance novel girly AT ALL, like it actually aggravates me??? But I think that's related to issues I have to work through as a closeted lesbian - I'm 26 and still closeted because I'm from a VERY conservative community as being a carer for my disabled mother, I had to move back home to look after my mum in a very anti gay environment. But I'll definitely be checking some of these queer narratives out, at least to live vicariously through them. I have to send you so much love, Georgia - as someone with a professional background in criminal psychology who appreciates creators that treat true crime stories with such empathy, as opposed to the ever growing shock factor for entertainment that is favoured online (are we back in the fighter versus lion arena? I fear, sometimes), AND as a queer woman online who takes such effort to create a lovely, safe environment online for other queer folks to seek refuge. Love love love. You are such a gem❤.
oh I’m so sorry I hope one day you’re able to live your big openly queer life like you deserve ❤️❤️
@@storieswithgeorgiamarieI’m not gay but I still love you and how you defend your lifestyle
Happy pride month everyone. As a devoted saaphic girly I love these book recommendations. I'm going to add these amazing books to my kindle device.
Happy pride month everyone. Happy to see the reupload.
no idea why the audio didn’t work on the last one but we go again!
Happy pride month ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷
How have I never come across your channel if all I look for are other queer booktubers?! Jeez, the algorithm is failing me so badly.
All great recs but I had never heard of The tragedy of heterosexuality before and it sounds so interesting, I'll definitely pick up the audiobook!
ps. New sub!!
something i especially loved about felix ever after is that while they mention people using his deadname, the author never actually SAYS felix's deadname! i just thought that was something really cool and a good choice the author made to push the message that it doesn't matter what your name was "before", or who you were "before", and you don't owe anyone those past parts of your identity
My paperback copy of Ander & Santi finally arrived last week! Can't wait
Happy pride!!🏳️🌈I read Our Wives Under The Sea and it absolutely destroyed me, such a beautiful story; love these recommendations, definitely will be adding these to my TBR!!
It's so good!
Love the recs and your voice is really beautiful. My favourite queer book would probably be Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern 🥰
I know you said you aren’t so much into fantasy stuff, and I’m not sure if you’ve ever mentioned this before, but I’m currently reading We Ate The Dark by Mallory Pearson. It’s not my favorite genre, but I’ve enjoyed the relationships between mostly sapphic characters.
I’m not into sci-fi/fantasy at all, I usually need my books firmly planted in reality but I trust the book recommendations here so much I’m very tempted to try Our Wives Under the Sea.
you started reading out the passage from our wives under the sea and it literally was the one that comes to my mind first when i think of this book!! truly such a beautiful story
One of my most recent queer book I loved was Imogen, Obviously. I cried when I finished it, maybe because I resonated, or maybe because as a 35 year old, I wished I had had my queer awakening sooner, that I could've been younger and experienced queerness and friendships that came with. Thank you for all your recs.
Happy pride month!! Love your channel and def a new subscriber here! ^_^ currwntly reading “A Bluestocking’s Guide to Decadence.” But adding some of your recs to my tbr indeed :D
Happy pride month ❤💜 🌈
Happy prideeee!!
Nothing better than a new upload to this channel, yay!❤🎉🌈
Happy pride! 💚🌈 My favourite queer books are silver in the wood by emily tesh, you're not supposed to die tonight by kalynn bayron & the wicked bargain by gabe cole novoa!
I really liked Felix Ever After, and A scatter of light sounds really interesting I will have read it! But my favourite queer book is The Winter Duke it's a great sapphic ya fantasy! But I also love Pet by Akwaeke Emzi!
Happy pride! I’m in the middle of reading Ruby fruit jungle. ( I’m a slow reader) so far I love it and Molly is quite the character! Thanks for all of your recommendations as usual!
no shame in being a slow reader!!
Thank You.
I love rubyfruit jungle! I read it for school years ago
My favorite book of all time is More Than This by Patrick Ness! It’s a great book to go into without knowing anything about it.
I also recently read Venom & Vow by Anna-Marie McLemore and Elliott McLemore, which is genuinely some of the best trans representation AND some of the best disabled rep I’ve ever read in a book. It’s… not really written with cis people in mind? But if anything, I think too much trans rep is written for cis people so
Love this channel
Thanks for the recommendations 🌈🌈✨✨
It’s nice to see alternatives to the typical viral queer booktok books!
I read seven husbands of everlyn hugo every year! Right now I'm reading our wives under the sea, it's great 😊
Happy Pride! I'm also a lesbian with scoliosis
I’ve bought my first book! Actually, I bought more than one. I just think it's so typical that the video was posted 2 hours after I bought them, so I couldn't buy more haha!
(Haven’t had time to watch the video yet, that is why I’m late to writing this)
I know I’m late but I finally found my people here! Happy Pride y’all!! 🏳️🌈
on the same vein as every time you hear that song, i cannot recommend perfect on paper by sophia gonzales enough!
I'm reading The Sun and The Star rn, but I'm also planning on reading Good Omens and The Song of Achilles! Happy pride month to all!
Hi quick question that the nico di angelo book right and can u read that after u read heroes of olympus or do i need to read trials of apollo
@@Destroyer3212-gv2ss you need to read Trials of Apollo as well or there will be a lot of stuff you won't get. Hope this helps :)
@@hungariangiraffe6361 okay thank u
@@hungariangiraffe6361 whats ur favourite book in the series
@@Destroyer3212-gv2ss honestly, I don't know. Maybe Chalice of the Gods, but I'm not sure since I haven't read the first books in a while.
Happy Pride! My favourite queer book I've read this year so far is 'don't want you like a best friend' 💗
love that for you!!
Yesssss bisexual treasure hunt yeahhh
For pride month I recommend all the boys love Chinese novels, especially Grandmasters of Demonic Cultivation and Heaven Officials Blessing, they're simply magical and the most romantic books I've ever read. They deserve all the hype and love.
would you say they’re fantasy books??
@@storieswithgeorgiamarie yes, I'd say they are, Chinese fantasy to be specific! You can Google it and its basically the Xianxia/Wuxia genres
Does The Tragedy of Heterosexuality talk about queer people who may have relationships with the opposite sex sometimes like Bi+ folks?
Yuck
boo hoo baby
@@storieswithgeorgiamarie yuck 🤮🤮🤮
