You look so genuinely happy that you inspired Bob to cook. Your passion for food and sharing that knowledge comes through. I still have to make my way up to your place one of these weekends!
I've been watching Jack's videos for a long time, and most every Sunday I make a recipe from the channel for dinner and it's always a hit with everyone. I'm now trying to plan a trip to New London to visit the restaurant!
I can relate, I been chef for 50 yrs 2020 got laid off. Start watching Jack , reminds me of the great things , the magic of the kitchen it has inspired me for when or if the food service places ever open again , to think about getting back into it. Thanks for sharing this, see you next time.
I’m so glad to see you putting out so many videos! This soup looks amazing, just wish I lived close enough to eat at your restaurant. I have made several of your recipes and they never disappoint! Thanks Daddy!
pretty cool story from Bob, he needed something to do, someone to lean on during a hard time, and found cooking with Daddy Jack helped prop him back up. That is awesome! Also, thank you Jack for sharing your talent with everyone!
Like Bob, I too lost my long-time partner very recently. There were so many meals we cooked together, but maybe four that he made that rocked my world. Wedding soup was one. You’ve given me a special something to cook, key secrets included. Drooling out here in California...
Daddy Jack. Needed a starter for Christmas Eve dinner. After watching you make this I gave it a shot. Came out great and the family enjoyed the soup. Thanks pal keep it up
Actually the “Italian Wedding Soup” did not come from serving at weddings…it got its name from all the flavors “Marry”. Many people are mistaken. He did use the right pasta for this soup. I miss his videos. He was a great cook.😢
I have a couple good years to go before I can retire, but I think if the good lord allows us all to be here, I’m moving to New London to become a sous-chef for this man. I think as crazy busy as a rest kitchen can get, it would be awesome to get in there, learn and EAT! Fun times!!
I have watched the show since 2009 and have learned from every video....the shows content is unique and informative....Daddy Jack's always remains professional and courteous to his audience....as a viewer and super fan I'm always waiting for the next show....Daddy Jack's show reflects the three E.s...excitment ,enthusiasm and entertainment...still learning Thank you sir...warmest regards Todd and family...
The commune of Daddy Jack, the whole of New York will be moving to New London if you're not careful or know what's good for ya! Lol. Just watched the one with the guitar player who also said he moved there from New York. Lmao
Daddy Jack please do a cookbook with your stories and recipes. I am sure you can find a ghost writer where you can tell them the stories and they can write the book. Do not let all the knowledge and stories not get passed one. I am writing a book on my banking career and my life for my grand kids you should do the same except many folks would want your book! Love ya buddy
all the chefs on tv should show their work in real restaurant like big daddy , and see if they can keep up with our favorite chef big daddy, go daddy jack
