A clutch needs 4A permanently to run. The PTO switch allows 10A max. But Is there a 12V relay activated between the switch and the clutch for protection, or runs always the current directly from the switch to the clutch on most of all mowers? Mine is a Cub Cadet XT2 QR106 with FR 651 Kawa with 110H use. It works fine during half an hour, but the blades stop after that, run again after somme minutes and so one. No security switches issue, no 12V current issue to the clutch, good resistance value (3,12 ohms) no bearings issue after control, clutch opened, very clean with good and dry contact surfaces. The clutch is very hot after use (cannot put the hand) but i think it's normal, no? (I read between 170 and 220°C on the manuals) ...So can it be a faulty relay if one is installed , or is there no relay on the circuit?
Kawasaki also puts on a oil temperature sensor and if the engine oil is too hot the PTO clutch will not engage you need to check that oil sensor on Kawasaki's thank you for the info great video
Somebody help me I hit a bump on my John Deere 155c and the blades quit turning anybody got an idea which switch it would be or what in the world happened
