I was the client in this video‼️ It was dope meeting Chris and I loved the things he shared with me. It’s CRAZY seeing myself on this channel after learning to cut from Chris! Thank you Bossio‼️💎
...Nice haircut Elliot. How did you learn of stylist Chris and where is this barbershop located? You already came in with what many would say was a nice short haircut, why such a skin tight fade haircut---and you saying "for sure" to getting it bald on the sides? What does it feel like to have it clipper skinned so close around the ears and up the back of the head? It is a nice short haircut would you go even shorter up the sides and back? This was posted on Monday, October 12, was that the same day as your haircut? Got a picture of your haircut without the mask to see how it looks? Nice cut.
@@chrisfan8705 I wonder the same. What does it feel like to get such a short clipper skinning around the ears. Also, Elliot, you had a nice short haircut when seated in the chair, why so skin tight "bald" (as you requested per barber asking "And bald on the sides?"). Also, at the very start of the video you said the following: "Let me get a mid-fade with a C-cups"....what? C-Cup is what, sounds like a woman's bra. Never heard such a clipper cut term. When is your next haircut. Today is October 18, so in two weeks or two months from now? Get it even more shorter bald on the sides and back nice and military tight.
@@fromjames1414 I always get bald fades, it feels nice. A c-cup is the part of the line up/shape up where it’s curves, into what would be a sideburn (if it wasn’t bald). It’s kinda of technical to say to some people but I knew he knows what I mean.
Haha that’s me in the video and as a barber I’m so used to describing my cut in such detail to barbers for the first time. But I’m sure I could have just told bossio to get me right and he would have 🤣.
I’ve been leisurely cutting hair as a little side hustle for the past 10 years. Not licensed or anything, and would consider myself better than the average, run of the mill barber. And I 100% have you to thank for that. I started following you 2 years ago and have seen my skill progress more in the past 2 years than it did the first 8. Appreciate the constant knowledge and tutorials you’re always dropping 👏🏻🐐
Bossio you’ve become the best all around barber I’ve seen! To be able to do blurry fades, sharp lines, and great scissor work is impressive! It’s hard to find barbers that are great at all 3! Nice work!
All your videos are so helpful but this tutorial has to be one of your best. You made us aware when stacking down to concentrate on the cutting blade & not the guard cz it does look like you're stroking in the same place (obvz not) love this cut and your scissor work is crazy helpful too. Thank you thank you and thank you!!!! Showing love from UK🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
At around 6:30 of the video that camera zoomed in angle is what I like to see the little details of what your cutting and the even panels of hair. It’ll help a bunch
I watched your videos . Got confident. Tried to cut my hair. Now me and number #1 clip guard are best friends cause I couldn't recreate the freaking cut..... Your bad my Fault. Lol
It made me laugh when I got the alert this morning. this is the video I was looking for yesterday when planning to cut my sons hair lol. I'll be back in about 2 weeks. Dope vid. Thanks
Bossio! Just suscribed to the chanbel, I'm also suscribed to the online academy as a way to show my appreciation for all your hard work, just wanna say thanks for helping me reach the next level and hope to have you down in Mexico for a masterclass soon!
Great haircut!!! I am intimidated by fading down and achieving the desired outcome. Every video I watch, I see something that I think may require some constructive criticism, by the end straight perfection!!! 😂😂😂 You don’t miss a thing!!!
In inches or centimetres, how much would you go down with each guard when downfading (between opened and closed too)? Btw, thanks man, I found it very difficult to keep the bulk and darkness when upfading, will try this one for sure!
Chris how can you safe the symetry on both sides of head doing the fade on one side, than on another side, and than conect fade on back not using guidline all around the head? Thnk
I thought my phone lost WiFi signal and my video got incredible blurry but damnnnn that haircut plays tricks on you. Lol 🔥🔥🔥fire bro as always much love!
Quick question, if I buy the eco battery for my Magic Clips do I need the the power mat and the power clip? I just cut myself and I don’t really need the whole set up but I think I can benefit from the eco battery.
chris bro those seniors when you open the lever doesnt it cut really slow how does it work so well for you because when i use my 1 and half its so slow and it barely cuts
Is barber school good to attend if you’re barely starting out in the barber industry? Or is it better to improve your craft before entering into a barber school? I have many areas where I need to improve when it comes to cutting hair and idk if I should improve before going to barber school because I heard barber school just helps you learn different techniques and not how to actually cut hair. I want to learn how to cut hair as well as improve.
@Italian BMT I see, I’m in the military so I move around a lot. I just really want to improve in barbering so I can have a second way of income. I have a passion for it but I need a lot of improvements when cutting hair. Like I don’t know if I’m just having a lot of off days or if I’m seriously in need of improvement because some haircuts I do come out really good and those customers become regulars of mine.
@Italian BMT I’ve been cutting hair for 9 months now and idk if that’s still to early to actually be good or if it’s that time where it okay to still need a lot of improvements. I tend to cut black straight thick hair a lot easier than others which I’ve found out. I also struggle with fading the bald into the open lever like it just looks like I cut from bald to a 1 and idk how to fix that. When I blend in the bald to open line I rather struggle with getting rid of the line or I get rid of the line but bring the blend too high. I constantly watch videos to improve but man it gets to me sometimes because I tend to doubt myself especially when I mess up on some people’s cuts.
@Italian BMT Okay, thank you for the advice and the encouragement. I really want to progress in this craft because I’m tired of gaining then losing clients due to some flaws in my work.
Hey Chris. Sharp work again. Please tell me which make & model is your white clipper comb you use? And do you recommend it? I have asked you this in a lot of your videos & you have not replied. I know you are a busy man. Would appreciate if you could get back to me. Thanks Chris!!

You make fading down look so easy. Need a detailed vid on how to not over judge the fade length

The best cut personally Ive seen in a while. the contrast of colour in the fade is BANG ON! Clipper and scissor work 110%
Super crazy how much a fade can do to a person, appreciate the consistency bosio!
I watched a plethora of hair cutting vids and follow a lot of different barbers. Their blending game doesn’t even come close. 💯
When I was younger I thought fading down was always just a better way to do it, but, now seeing this it looks way harder to get it right
Hard as always. That was basically a perfect fade. C-cup popped, shear work great as always
At around 6:30 of the video that camera zoomed in angle is what I like to see the little details of what your cutting and the even panels of hair. It’ll help a bunch

What clippers did u use for this fade & where do I get the guards for this clipper
Why do you leave that hair on the bottom instead of just cutting it off until the end? Just curious.
