    Thank you for making this easy to understand video - just received my K1C yesterday and somewhat stuck on where to start. Your video helped a great deal. Greetings from the UK

    At about 7:05 you say you can hold and go "up, down, left, right." I can't get this to work. I've tried holding shift and using the left mouse button. What am I doing wrong?

    Can you please make a video showing how to import and align multi part models ?
    If i import multi part models into prusaslicer, it asks if it is a single model having multiple parts or separate models. If you say it’s a single model with multiple parts, the slicer will automatically align them for multi colour printing.
    So far I have not been able to find this functionality in creality print. Leaving me to attempt to manually align parts.

    I am having an issue where creality is telling me that my printer doesn't support multi plate printing? How do I change this to single plate? I'm using the creality ender 3.

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi, do you havew a Ender 3? Slice every part or parts on to the plate and name them part 1, part 2 etc. That's how I used to do it.

    Very helpful video!! I do have a question with something I'm having problems with. What screen resolution are you using along with your text percentage and icon size if you're using Windows? I'm getting Creality Print to display too large and parts of it overlay other parts of it making it unusable. If my text is over 101% this happens. I need the text to be larger so I can see it. I'm using 1280x960 with 125% text and small icons. Thanks

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you. You are using the Windows sizing of the fonts in order the read it? For Windows 11 I use 100% Resolution, not 125 or 150. But in Creality Print I don't see the Option.

      @Zachary3DPrints  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      OK, that sounds weird... using only 1 plate, but printer says it does not support multi plate printing...
      What if you redo the slicing again and check if there are no other parts or models sitting outside of the main plate in Creality Print... is it giving the same error again?

      On the right-hand site, under "Process", you gotta go in the "Strength" Tab. There is the setting "Sparse infill density". Its hard to explain with no pictures but i hope that helped.

    going from 3rd to 5th is a major impact. i've been liking the added features, but I also grabbed my printer when it wasn't in any other slicers yet, and so the other big name slicers just didn't optimize better than 3, but this one has been a big "plug and play" jump for my unit. So I guess suffering with Creality 3 has impacted my view of things.

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed, for starters that just wanna print, it's great, but I rather want to see already known slicers being added with their printers and people being guided how to use those.
      What do you mean with Creality 3, like Ender-3?

  • @DvanderPluijm
    @DvanderPluijm 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I downloaded it and I really don't like it when compared to the previous version. I look through your video tomorrow, but for now I just want to say that I can't import 3mf-files without them getting all jumbled up in the down left corner. And when I finally do get a model properly loaded in - my own design - the program refuses to print it due to an error stating that it needs supports. But it doesn't; I've printed that model dozens of times and it prints fine without supports. But I can't make the program ignore the error, like I could in the previous version. Two major annoyances that made me download the 4 version.

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You still have the previous version on the computer, because I also still have it on mine. It basically install a new program instead of overwrite it.
      I always unselect the pre-selected options, because I use various slicers and I want to choose which slicer it needs to open it. Just as I mentioned in the video, some feature are great, but I rather want to use Orca Slicer

    • @DvanderPluijm
      @DvanderPluijm 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Zachary3DPrints ORca Slicer does look good, but the main problem I have with that software is that I can't seem to get it to work directly with my Creality K1. I managed to add it to the program, but then I keep getting error codes and it refuses to print. I think the error was something along the lines of something not found. For now, Creality 4 works still works the best, although I've been having a lot of problems with proper bed adhesion/smooth first layer lately.

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Loading the Gcodes to the printer, goes via the IP address on Chrome or other browsers... I also don't like it, but maybe in the future Creality actually allows other Slicers upload to the printer.
      I'll be switching over to Orca for my Creality printers and make video's about them...
      The Adhesion issues? Try to clean it, use the glue stick, and calibrate it

    • @DvanderPluijm
      @DvanderPluijm 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Zachary3DPrints I'll make sure to give those videos a look, to see if I can get around the errors. Because I think that if that problem gets fixed, I might like Orca better overall than Creality. I clean the bed regularly, use the glue stick, and calibrate it regularly as well. I think it's a matter of slight differences between the filaments I use (eSun, local print shop brand, Fiberlogy, Redline) so I'm currently working on making separate profiles for each of these filaments.
      Also, LOL: my husband suddenly decided to buy a Bamboo Labs printer with multiple filament printing options 'for personal use' (the K1 is for my very small business) to see if it has better software and prints better 'out of the box' and has less first layer print problems. XD
      (I was okay with it, btw)

    • @Zachary3DPrints
      @Zachary3DPrints  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed, a good practice to make special profiles for different filaments so you don't run into loosing filament because of failed prints. The Bambo printers are great for small and bigger businesses, so you are doing great that he bought one

      If the execution is right, it is fine for beginners to start somewhere, but I really would like to have a handful of standard slicers that work with all the printers.

      @Zachary3DPrints  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course we are allowed to grow, but re-skinning from already existing programs? Creality put efforts into something that is already there. Why not putting the time in already available slicers and give customers instructions how to set it up in those slicers.
