As a primary watcher of Coney and Slime, it is so surreal to be in a world where I can watch a cool ass montage of a vtuber with Coney and Slime's voices in the background in all of it
Dokibird livestreams: 12 days ago: first time playing 4 days ago: Sajam Slam 2 Round Robin 2 days ago: running it back with the HOMIES today: the finals! Unbelievable level of growth in a limited window with a 50 hour gameplay high pressure grindset.
@@GuntanksInSpace Also good on Brawlpro for clutching it in the tie breakers, giving his team a chance to shine in the grand finals. The dude was on the edge throughout the finals lmao, luckily he didn’t need to do anything in the Grand Finals, he took the dub and his team secured it
Ive never watched or cared about Tekken in my life, but doki's energy and excitement made the stream fun to watch anyway, and I was legit on the edge of my seat during the matches.
New FG players’ Tekken 8 journey’s were my primary source of entertainment since this game came out. Its stupid fun to watch new people go through getting into fighting games.
Watching good players is so boring 'Yeah bro go win that ranked match.' 'Yeah bro, I totally care about my personal improvement and this video trying to help me get better is so good'
I stumbled upon this tournament last day without even knowing what was happening I saw so many unique faces there from Doki to ESam & other people I didn't even know but loved the team they were fighting in the end PhiXD I believe was who I was watching at first & they were amazing too this was such a hype tournament I adored the whole thing even tho I stayed up so late I was passing out by the end
DoKING's progression has been quite remarkable, especially for someone with no fighting game experience. If she continues to play after the tournament she'll become a legit top player.
PhiDX's team and especially chat were so salty about her win. Downplaying Doki's grinding hours and good combos with "I hate King so much", "King is so BROKEN! or "I got Kinged!" KEKW Despite her being brand new to TEKKEN and fighting games in general. Chat even complained that Jack is broken too when they lose to Jack Jesus. LMAO
and thus doki's addiction to fighting games began... lol but seriously, with doki's competitive streak, i always thought fighting games seemed right up her alley.
I'm pretty sure this is from Under Night In-Birth, which is the same composer as Melty. I don't remember this track's name though. edit: Looked it up. The song is Beat Eat Nest (Byakuya's Theme).
To be fair, she is playing one of the easiest characters in the game who dishes out bullshit damage with very few moves and for whom some grabs you literally have to guess what button to press, e.g. as some grabs have King grabbing you with both hands, yet you have to press 1 to evade them. Also, they heavily simplified King's inputs from T7 to T8. I'd be impressed if she came that far with Reina or Lee Chaolan or Devil Jin or Kazuya.
What a year for Doki. Reaches 700k subscribers and pops off in Tekken all in less than six months!

Her improvement and energy actually made me watch more of her and to wanna play tekken 8. She's adorable!! Yaaaay!
You're so cringe omg
Absolute KINO seeing her evolution throughout that week!
So cringe lmao
Found the kid that got bullied the most in school
The best is that she finished it with "the Doki Special"
Fr the old tactic of the 4 to 5 alley kicks with a hop kick at the end that she always used

People dont seem to realize shes got those fps reflexes on her side.
But fighting game is more about muscle momery. That means Doki probably did a lot of trainning for the tournament.
That comeback in the first round of the second match was unreal. She almost got perfected, and then came back to win.
Hit me out of left field that I hear Beat Eat Nest was playing throughout this vid but I think it’s a goat track to express the hype of Doki’s match
Your parents were such failures
Im happy it sounds like she had so much fun man
"You are an FGC competitor, Doki."
"I'm a what!?"
i love how supportive they are
So proud of her 💛

Doki, Gumi, Esam, Coney, Koefficient and several other well known names.
She just needed time to cook and at the end, she was truly able to cook

Props to her coach and team for helping her train up behind the scenes

Respect for the music choice. Beat Eat Nest is peak.

Under Night music will always pop up when you least expect it
Never have i been so invested in a vtuber and their Tekken journey as right now, and i barely even know the vtuber
She needs the experience. She will be doing a wwe(?) tournament similar to this as well so why not join amiright?
It's totally the upgraded smug energy on the avatar isn't it? o3o

Pretty based for using Beast Nest as the bgm despite this not being a UNI vid

Dokibird, Queen Alley Kicks & the Cconfusion Fu Maestra
ngl I thought after Sajam Slam, she transitioned to learning Reina. that would have been sick.
Doki - "Nah, I'd win."
I fear not the tiger that practiced 1000 kicks one time, but practiced 1 low kick 1000 times
- Bruce Lee probably
Just more proof that Reina needs to be buffed.
Or perhaps King hits too hard. Jk don't nerf my boy
@@kylewood4488-b9r he definitely does, his damage output is insane coupled with low grabs and unclear breaks.
Are they all Reina players?
She was getting destroyed by the same player in the preliminary rounds but destroyed her in the actual tournament.
