I was lucky enough to have both cams in my car when I bought my lexus, seems a lot of lexus have them, must be a dealer favourite. Connected easily when I got the app, just need an SD card now 😅
I was going to ask for one of these to be fitted to my wife's Yaris as Toyota list them as an accessory until I started to read the reviews, which are not great. I have fitted Nextbase products before and while they are decent cameras they are not the best quality and can be buggy. I removed mine and went for Viofo which are a huge improvement.
The problem is when you at the dealership, they don’t tell you go read some reviews They just strongly recommend is good and needed I wonder why not offer a better brand
Hi. I recently had new twin cameras 380GWX and when I wifi connect with iPhone app, all looks well, but about 90 seconds later, the camera decides to disconnect. I can’t work out why? It’s not enough time to transfer a video file download to phone so pretty useless. Any help would be appreciated.

Found out when I went to connect 380GWX to my phone. Unit comes on and get the sound with red light , I pressed the blue triangle to start units wi-fi but unit it turns off before it gets a chance to connect and come up with the Nextbase wifi link option on my phone. So I took the Micro card out and reviewed on my laptop and there is no footage from my drives yesterday after I had it fitted. THEN , I took the unit off the windscreen, put the card back in and plugged in to a charger using the short power lead in the pack. The unit came on , stayed on , and recorded several 1 min videos sat on my worktop in the kitchen ! I see your comment 'because it's in parking mode' but now I've got into the app the parking mode is off. Any idea why the unit is powering off after about 20 secs when connected to the car supply ?
Hello mate had mine fited today the front and rear but when i come to view what has been recorded it sometimes recordeds the front and not the rear and sometimes i got to view it agian and the rare is recording but not the front?
Mine fitted by lexus in ct 200h rear camera causing loss 9f radio reception, fitted ferrite cip no improvement. Any suggestions cos it looks like I'm going to lose rezr camera
I have one of these but would like to change to something whereyou can view it remotely. Are the cameras intechangeable on the same wiring as such? Thanks
I got a problem with the app on an iPhone. Everytime I try and connect to the camera, I tap the "Connect your Dash Cam" button on the app, the note opens to "follow these simple steps" - I tap "Continue" and the Settings meny open on my CAM VIEWER PERMISSIONS. Having allowed everything, I go back and go into the Wi-Fi setttings, and connect to the camera. Having successfully connected, the status is still "No connection found" no matter how many times I repeat the process. Anyone seen a similar issue? please advise.
Please make sure you're not running a VPN connection at the same time this will block the connection. Also try De- installing the App and reinstalling making sure you accept all the usage messages and Local Network messages when trying to reconnect. Its also easier to connect to the Wifi on your iphone first before you even open the app. I presume you have the same model in this vidoe 380GW or 380GWX and you're using the Cam Viewer App?
I have one of these. Works ok, but I cannot view the recordings that are on the App unless my phone is connected to the camera, and it doesn't seem to connect unless I am in the car and go through the process (each time) of connecting my phone to the camera. In other words, I cannot view the recordings from inside the house, or remotely (eg, in the office, etc).
what connect to your phone in the house ? very few do that and there all expensive with a subscription fee to pay. you need the iq to remotely view it.
On my third one now . The first one blew up due to a battery fault which was replaced and then had another one fitted by Lexus after changing car. I definitely would not recommend buying this product.
so when it was fitted the fuse was used that is a ignition that drops out when the engine runs. easy fix move the fuse tap or contact the installer and get them to move it for you.
Not impressed - fitted by the dealer in a tinted area of the screen not covered by the wipers. Even on exposure 2 it is very poor recording and that exposure also affects the rear camera which is then far too bright.
Keep giving incorrect wifi password tried 12345678 and 123456789, resetted formating sd card etc useless just fitted from toyota can't get wifi password

the commission on these are really good for the dealership and there easy to use and a fit and forget camera.

no you would need to get the iq for that and would need new cables.

I always turn Bluetooth off on my iPhone when connecting to the 380GWX
same here but i deleted Norton virus and all ok

that's right if you want functions like remote viewing you need the new iq unit.
this model doesn't do anything like that it's just a basic dash cam
