Bravo. I may be in my early 20s, but I grew up on old flicks since all I had was a VCR and network TV. This basically is what I thought it looked like when I first saw this intro lol
My ears are SO relieved when the "Superman" title comes up and the horn blast IS IN KEY! I cringe every time that part comes up when watching the movie BECAUSE IT'S A QUARTER TONE SHARP! I always wondered how people didn't hear that! The damn editors fucked up the music to get it to match the credit sequence instead of changing the credits.
WOW! I've watched several of these and this one is a standout. Some have remastered sound, some upgraded video but this one has it all. Thank you Kathryn Ross!
Visually beautiful. I wanted to do this over forty years ago, as the seamlessness of the textual transitions from three dimensions to two always bothered me, but CGA graphics just weren't up to the task. My only issue is with the editing choices for the music. I really like the point in the score at which John Williams's name appears, and would've fudged the speed (without changing pitch - a pox on the original for changing it) to make it land in the same place when his name appears.
Small nitpick : in Hollywood credits the word "and" refers to someone having worked after (or over) the work of someone else, where the ampersand "&" indicates the two people worked together. So "Siegel and Shuster" should read "Siegel & Shuster" - as it does in the original credits. Great job otherwise!

I noticed that since I was little as well. Finally fixed. Thank god.
